So you died. Bad luck. That's okay: that's what the Reaper's Game is for! A seven-day struggle across the city, completing missions and taking on the noise, and if you win, you get to come back to life! Prove yourself, and prove your worth. And guess what? You made it. You survived. So now you get to come back to life. Right?

Wrong.

Sure, you survived, but that's not the same as winning. You didn't score enough points. But, hey, here's your entry fee back, and, if you want, you can have another crack at the game. It's a shame you didn't win, though. I've been watching you. You were a strong player. In fact, a very strong player - just the kind of people we like on our side.

Now there's an idea. Maybe you'd like to join us? Don't look so shocked. We're not like zombies or a cult or anything. Just think about it? You can have your old life back - if you do a few shifts for us in return. You probably saw while you were playing that Reapers can grow to be very powerful... wouldn't you, too, like the chance to expand your horizons?

Welcome to The World Ends With Us, an RP clearly based off The World Ends With You, featuring original characters and an original location. As implied by the introduction, the plot will be based more around the Reapers than the Players. As in the game, if one defeats the Composer, they may replace him (or her), and they know it. There is a rift between the Reapers - those who are loyal, and those who are not. Those who are ambitious, and those who are cowardly. The World Ends With Us, kiddo. You'd better believe it.

• Okay, you are a Reaper. There are various ranks of Reaper - Supports (the hoodies you see around the place) that guard and set up walls, Harriers (Uzuki, Kariya) that harass players, officers that organise the Reapers. Each game has a Game Master, of which there can only be one. There is also a Conductor, as whom I will be playing.
• Skills: Reapers don't use player pins. They have supernatural powers that enable them to do cool magicky fighting. Reapers can also set up walls, and use their phones to imprint (suggest ideas to) people in the RG as players can.
• Reapers exist in the RG and the UG. That means you kind of have a double-life, but most Reapers find themselves spending most of their time in the UG.
• Wings are optional.
• You can summon noise to harass the players, but can't attack them directly except in extreme circumstances. Nothing says you can't attack one another, though...
• For the sake of simplicity, let's say that Reapers do not generally have a noise form.

Rather than try to pick a location we'll all know, I've just made one up. It's not in Japan, England, or the USA, but is a city in West Germany called Scheinberg. It is the new happening place to be, and not being German doesn't matter; pretty much everything in the city is in English anyway. It is the new centre of art, music and cinema, and celebrities and artists have flocked to this new place to be seen. Despite this, Scheinberg is actually quite a small city, and, naturally, given the hedonism and disposable lifestyle that is this city, the outskirts are incredibly polluted and disgusting. The UG only exists in the simplest walks of the city; that is to say, most of the side streets and back alleys are simply off-limits to players, to create a challenging but fair environment in which the players may complete their missions.
