Logan exited the Daily Prophet building and made his way down Diagon Alley. Even if it risked his career, he was about to get to the bottom of all of these disappearances. The hardcore journalist within him could not be contained when there was a juicy story out there waiting to be uncovered. He then heard a screech above him as he looked up to see what it was. It was his owl and familiar Luna. "Ugh, I told you to stay put." Luna had a knack for following Logan around especially when he was at risk of running into danger. Sighing, he made his way through the crowd of people, some shopping with their kids for school supplies. It was already the time for the young witches and wizards to start getting ready for Hogwarts. He remembered those years like it was just yesterday. He was always known as the bookworm and the smarty pants of his year. He made A's on practically every assignment. However he did have his fair share of harassment from the Slytherins for being a muggle-born wizard. Both of his parents were businessmen from Oxford. Meaning he came from a well off family and never had trouble acquiring money. During his last two years of school, he became the Keeper of the Ravenclaw Quidditch team which earned him tons of respect. He proved he wasn't just the know-it-all kid from Ravenclaw. Now he was a successful Journalist for the most read Newspaper in the wizarding world.

After saying several hello's to people who recognized him on the street, he made his way through the Leaky Cauldron. He lived with the muggles and needed to get to his apartment to get a few things. Logan walked out of the entrance to the Leaky Cauldron and now walked amongst the muggles of London. Logan could have apparated to his place if he wanted to, but he enjoyed his strolls and bus rides to get to his place. Before he reached the bus stop, he heard a rattle in a nearby alleyway. He arched his eyebrow and started to walk towards the sound. He bit his lip as he walked closer to the rattling sound. "Gosh, my curiosity will be the death of me." He turned the corner and saw there was nothing in sight. He let out a sigh but before he could turn around, he noticed a big lump on the ground covered by a dark sheet. There was a shoe sticking out of it. A sunken feeling came over him as he inched forward. By the time he made it there, he stood over the lump for awhile contemplating on whether to take off the sheet. "This is stupid. Why am I even here?" Logan looked up and saw Luna still circling above him. Taking a deep breath, he took off the tarp and immediately fell back on his butt in horror. There lay the body of the man he interviewed only a day before. Carl lay lifeless on the ground in the same manner he described the other victims he found. Logan opened his mouth but no sound came out. Finally he managed to get words out. "H-Help! Someone help!"

Aimi Mortigan stood on the other side of the street from Logan, with a small grin in the corner of her mouth. She had been watching him for some time now and heard his cries for help. So Aimi put a concerned look on her face and approached. "Oh my, what happened?" She tugged at her hood and looked around. "Did you see what happened?"

Wu Mortigan's head shot up at Logan's distress call, and drew his wand. He pointed it at the door and said something inaudible.

One of the suits of armor approached the door, and pressed it open with it's halberd.

"Well, what do you see?" Wu asked, still pointing his wand at the door.

The armor merely shrugged it's shoulder pauldrons and let the door close.

Wu Mortigan turned to Griff. "Oh well, excuse me for a moment..." After saying this, he approached the restricted section of the library. This section could only be accessed by himself and anyone with the correct authorization forms. He began organizing the books, leaving one of them on a nearby table.

Aella fell and but scant feet from the pavement she was caught By an unusual witch who merely pointed a finger and hummed
Then there in the street the witch began healing her with a strange spell that was more song than incantation
Aella was stunned by the witch's ability to heal so quickly when her wounds closed before a minute had passed
There all better says the strange woman her accent decidedly american
What do I owe you? says Aella as she fishes for her money
Nothing at all, it is our duty to aid those in need says the strange woman
Aella is about to say something else when two Ministry twits show and start asking questions and by the time they are through the unusual woman is gone
Sorry all my friends but I had to run to Peru where my uncle was working a dig.
His plane was lost in the Cordillera Negra in the Ancash Region Andes. Thank the Lord and Lady he was found safe though slightly injured.
Sorry I left so abruptly and without leaving a message

“I’m going back to Diagon Alley,” Violet told the bar staff at large, once she had come to the end of the story for the third time, pensive eyes lingering on the byline. Logan. Violet vaguely remembered the guy from Hogwarts, but had never really spoken to him. Nevertheless, he had become a household name since then, as he’d carved out his own moralistic niche in the newspaper. She’d never really had a hero complex for the man like many of her staff did, but she’d respected his writing ability. But this was something entirely different. If it had been anyone else, she would have dismissed it purely upon principle, muttering darkly about drinking too much Butterbeer on the weekends, but Logan was hardly known for printing trash.
Biting her lip, Violet tossed it aside, grabbing her jacket from the back of the chair. Swinging it over her shoulders, she slid her arms into the sleeves and her wand into the inside pocket before she met the concerned gaze of her head waitress.
“I’ll be fine,” she said reassuringly, beaming a smile at the girl. “I’m just going to go and have a look.”
    She didn’t look convinced.
“Look after the bar for me.”
That, at least, gave her something to do. The girl’s gaze cleared with relief as she got back to the job.
Violet slipped out, and hurried to the Leaky Cauldron. Zipping through, she didn’t even pause to say hello before she reached the bordering wall, producing her wand as she walked. A few taps and shifting’s of bricks later, and she was in Diagon Alley.

Marc stepped aside to let Kleo pass, a little disappointed she had to leave again. He had no idea what was going on, or why Kleo seemed to be ashamedof something. The name Carl rang a bell though, that was the guy who had started the commotion yesterday and who's story was published in the Daily Prophet today. As he watched her leave he saw a blue pulsing light surround her, glowing brighter, despite her covering up some object near her chest.

Confused, he watched her leave the apothecary. Be safe... A strange thing to say, though if today's paper was to believed, strangely fitting. He started to wonder about the glowing object. She grabbed something in front of her chest, which meant it was probably some kind of jewellery. He had never noticed Kleo wear a necklace before, and definitely not the glowing kind. It was probably enchanted, and most enchantments would react to something like emotions or events.

"So Marc, what brings you here?" Flo's voice interrupted his thoughts. "Uhm, yeah. I came to pick up those phials I ordered and some new ingredients." He replied, whilst turning back towards the older witch. Within a couple of minutes, he had picked out some new ingredients and Flo had gotten the phials from the back of the store. "Thank you." He said as he paid her and put all of the stuff in a pocket with an extension charm on it. As he exited the store, he looked around to see if he could catch a glimpse of Kleo, despite the fact that she was gone for a couple of minutes now.

As she stood wondering who the witch was a man bumped into her saying
    Watch where you stop girl
Aella was going to tell him to stuff it when she felt suddenly dizzy
Aella was still a bit off when she walked into one of the nearby shops..
She wasn't sure why she'd entered but after being attacked she needed cover.
    Darkblood

    looks like Bellatrix

    Evil slut

People were whispering around her and their tone was strangely angry
Aella dismissed them as bigots that were as bad as her parents
Wave of vertigo forced her to grab a shelf for support which she knocked several fragile items from.
I always wanted to know what that would look like she says with a sigh
Before she leaves she over pays the shop keeper trying to seem as if she'd meant her actions. She didn't like feeling weak so she walked towards the door as steady as she could only to bump into some fat Matron
Young woman are you blind? snapped the old hag when someone behind her screamed
Thinking she might be once more under attack Aella flicked her wrist and watched as for the first time in a long time her wand flew landing several feet away.
"Well this is how it all ends?" She thinks as the Matron catches her and lowers her to the floor
"Why is her's the last face I'll ever see?" Thinks Aella as a dark curtain falls over her eyes.

    )))))))

Sometime later Aella awakens on her belly in a hospital bed
Miss Oh thank goodness you're awake, please don't try to move for you were stabbed in the back with a poison needle
Good thing Mrs. Pendergast got you here in time or the blood loss would have been much greater, the poison was an anti coagulate

"What the hells going on, is this kill Aella day or have the fashion police stepped up their punishments?"
Aella says trying not to laugh
It was puzzling,n she'd never made anyone so mad she could even think of them wanting her dead
If she were her Father or Mother it would be understandable but not her.
Sorry all my friends but I had to run to Peru where my uncle was working a dig.

Kleo hadn't spent more than a few seconds in the Wizarding joke shop, the place was as busy as always, people of all ages liked to visit the shop and it's owners. She managed to catch the older Weasley's attention only for him to tell her that he hadn't bought anything from Carl since he bought a rotten batch of pixie eggs thinking it was monticore venom. "Never bought anything from him again and now I like to see what I'm buying before I pay" the red headed man added with a crooked smile. "Sorry I couldn't be of more help" he added before heading over to clump of kids who were whispering to each other about some thing or another leaving Kleo to find her own way out of the shop. She let out a sigh, fiddling with the crystal around her neck as she moved absentmindedly back through the streets of Diagon Alley. There was no place else to look, none that she could think of anyway that openly dealt with somebody like Carl.

She hadn't been watching where she was going as she headed back through town, the same way she came, unsure of where she wanted to go next. Her mind wandered to the Ministry where her father worked... the father that didn't want her, she reminded herself. Closing her eyes as if hoping to shut those thoughts out and consequently walking right into a man just as he was stepping out of one of the shops. The collision was hard enough to nearly knock her off balance, but she managed to catch herself as she opened her eyes to apologize to whoever she had run into. A flush rose to her cheeks at once when she realized that she had just run into Marc "oh Marc, I'm sorry I wasn't watching where I was going, are you alright?" she asked, checking to be sure that she hadn't hurt him. She could feel her heart speeding up in embarrassment mixed with a few other feelings, the same ones that she had always gotten whenever she saw him, even back in school before he even knew she existed. She seemed vaguely unaware of the crystal around her neck pulsing blue to the beat of her heart.

As Marc was still looking around for Kleo he felt someone bump into him. He turned around and saw Kleo apologizing to him. "No worries Kleo, at least now I know that my shock absorbent charm works. It's never an good idea too carry around an Erumpent horn without one..." He assured her, though it was unclear if he was joking about the horn or not. "You should stay in the Leaky Cauldron, that way I know when I'm about to run into you. Or when you'll run in to me. Quite literally this time." He joked. He winked at her and noticed she was blushing again. She often seemed to blush around him, which he found rather cute. He also considered it a positive sign, he had feelings for her, and hoped her blushing meant that she had some feelings for him. He was so lost in her beautiful eyes it took him a while to notice her necklace was glowing again. "That's a nice necklace you're wearing. It looks beautiful on you. It's safe to assume someone enchanted it?"

Wu Mortigan sat at his librarian desk, with a small grin growing on his face. He had been reading the book he'd set aside for some time now. As he learned more, his smile grew wider.

"Excuse me-" Without his knowledge, a customer had come to the library. Wu immediately slammed the book shut and stared at the boy, He recognized the boy immediately.

"What do you need Albus Severus?" He asked, rubbing his left temple. After the Potter boy told him what he needed he pointed him in the right direction.

"Thank you Mister Mortigan, I need it for a project. Surely you remember your time in Hogwarts." Albus said, looking through the library cards.

"Yes, yes.. Just hurry along, I'd hate for Mrs. McGonagall to have your head. Besides, why don't you just use the library at Hogwarts?" Wu waved his wand, and brought a book meeting the description Albus Severus described. "Here, now go on get going..." Wu flicked his wrist and opened the door with his magic.
