Empty Easel sat back in the horseless carriage, or 'automobile' as people were calling it. He moved the wheel using his green colored magic as his hair whipped in the open air of the cab. "You'll love Ponyville, Winter. You will. Better than those stuck up ponies in Manehatten. Or those private schools. The mares here are pretty too." Empty Easel laughed as he turned a corner down a road bordering Sweet Apple Orchards.

Winter Day rolled his eyes, the filly laying in the back seat. "Of course. But I'll miss all of Dad's parties! They're so awesome!" He rolled onto his back and flung his hooves into the air. "And we're in the middle of nowhere! There's nothing to doooooo!" The colt groaned. He used his weak magic to try and snag an apple while they were moving, but the car was going too fast. "Celestia's horn, bro! You are going WAAAY too fast. Like what, 40 miles per hour? That is too much for two ponies and a hunk of metal."

"I can tell you've been spending too much time with dad. Try not to be stuck in the past! This thing is wonderful! Plus, Ponyville got its first telephone line! It's wonderful. It transmits sound through electrical- WOOOOAAAAAHH!" Easel stomped on the brakes and stopped right before hitting Granny Smith moving a cart. She looked at him angrily, and he shrugged. "Other things.... they're kinda behind." He slowly rode through town and got out in front of his house, fillies of all ages surrounding the car in amazement. "Get our bags. Great time to practice your magic."
