"... Ulysses, dear, are you sure this is the right thing to do?"
"Yes, Kielo. It really is."
"But... I can't help but think this is foolish, and he is still so young..."
"Trust me on this, it's for the best. Being locked away by himself will let him focus on his training and increase his strength, as well as protect him from those that wish him harm until he is strong enough to reclaim Magiterra in his name, and keep peace across this world of ours."
"... If you say so, dear... I will miss him... Even if we will see him from time to time, I'll still miss being around our child so much..."
"I know you will... I'm sorry, I hope you understand, Kielo..."

"Yes, just like that, Ulero. Keep focusing." Ulysses told his son, a smile on his face while he watched.
"Bah, I'm tiiiiiireeeed." Ulero wined, having exhausted his strength on his abilities already.
"Already? We've just begu-- Jeez... Fine, take a break. For a child that has so much potential, you sure are lazy..." Ulysses said with a light sigh, chuckling softly afterwards.
"... Dad, I've been--" Ulero started to speak before he was cut off by his father. "Ulysses. Call me by my name, Gods only refer to people by their names in our society, Ulero." Ulysses told him, crossing his arms while he did so.
"Ah, fine, fine, sorry... Ulysses, uhm... I've been training hard lately and have been wondering if.... could I maybe go outside, just to see how it is?" Ulero asked, a pleading smile on his face, as he quickly tried to follow up on his words and some how convince his father, knowing that Ulysses would already say no if he simply asked. "I-I'll be careful, I'll stay close to home, a-and I'll train harder if I can. I promise!" Ulero said, hopeful that his father would agree.
"No, Ulero. I told you before, there is nothing important out there for you. One day you can, but only when you fully are able to use your powers and are grown up. If you wish to simply just see what it is like, you have books and magic that would easily show you or give you an idea. You know this."
"But it's not the same! Dang it..." Ulero said, growing slowly frustrated, as he pushed his books off of his desk and onto the floor, before resting his arms and head on it, sighing loudly.
"Ulero, stop acting up. Rest for a moment and continue your training, do you hear me?" Ulysses asked, as Ulero obviously took that as an order. "... Yeah, I hear you, Ulysses..." Ulero replied, though did not turn to look at his father as he stop. "Good. I have to be going, but you best be studying and training, or you'll be in trouble, Ulero." Ulysses told his son, before disappearing. Was he too hard on him, Ulysses wondered, or maybe Ulysses should just sit down and explain things to his son someday... even how unlikely his son would understand.

"Good job, Ulero. Nice, very nice." Kielo said with a big smile on her face as she watched her son's training, even though Ulero appeared to be not trying as hard as he could, she still felt it was important to encourage your child.
"Yeah, thanks, mom..." Ulero said, as he let out a sigh, tired and bored of the same thing. "Ulero, while I love that you would call me that, you know that--" Kielo started to say to her son, until Ulero interrupted her. "Yeah, yeah, I know, sorry, Kielo..."
Kielo smiled in response to Ulero's words, glad that her son was listening, although she really didn't mind being called so, but someone had to teach him how Gods should be and act, even if there was only a handful left in Magiterra...
"M-Kielo... How much longer till I can finally get out of this place?..." Ulero asked, hoping for a favorable answer. "... Until you are done with your training, Ulero. You know this..." Kielo replied, a sad expression on her face, hate having to force her son to be kept locked here. "Always the same answer, "Not until you are finished with your training" Well, when will I be finished?! I'm so sick of this place, of only being able to see the world through these worthless books and stupid magic, it's not really it. I'm just sick of it..." Ulero complained, his anger and frustration at the whole ordeal getting to him yet again.
"... I'm sorry, Ulero... It's just how it is... It's for your best interest..." Kielo told her son, trying to calm him down. "... I know, I know, sorry... Just... tired." Ulero sighed, before trying to change the subject, knowing that talking about the outside seemed to bother his mother. "Where is da-Ulysses anyways? Been awhile since he came to nag at me. Heh..." Ulero asked with a chuckle. "He's... been busy, Ulero. He'll come eventually, but won't be for quite a long time..." Kielo told her son, as she figured now was as good a time as any. "Ulero... This right here, your father wanted me to give them to you, to learn how to use it and let it become your weapon." Kielo told Ulero, before summoning the twin gold revolvers before him. "These are... weapons to help you, in case you can't use your abilities for some reason... They are weaker attacks then what you should be able to do, but are usable at almost no effort and are easy to use, should you need to use them. The stronger you become, the more powerful they will also."
Ulero stared at the weapons for a moment, before taking the revolvers in his hands, finding them... strange. "Uh... Alright, I guess. Thanks. Will learn how to use these things then. Heh. Another thing I need to train with..." Ulero said with a slight chuckle, finding it a bis discouraging that he'd have to learn how to use something else now, but at least they looked nice.
"I'm glad you like them, Ulero. Now, unfortunately, I must be going, but promise me you'll keep training, yes" Kielo asked with a smile, getting a sigh and a nod from her son, before she disappeared before his eyes. She... couldn't tell him the truth, that his father was no longer around, period. It would hurt him, and... as much as he should know, Ulysses would have wanted their son to get better and stronger, as soon as he could. Unfortunately, Kielo herself was getting weaker, and would soon be unable to keep their son from finally leaving his safe haven, so the only way she could try to at least attempt to keep Ulero safe was by giving him those weapons, weapons she had someone made specifically for Ulero. Kielo really hoped that her son didn't hate her for locking him away for so long, and that he would forgive them someday, but for now, she merely wished that he would be safe should he ever leave...

Ulero age 17
Ulero had grown increasingly frustrated, and... oddly feeling more and more alone, recently, after his mother stopped coming by, though it was obvious that she was most likely busy also... Which Ulero didn't mind too much. Them being both busy, although a bit lonely, also made him realize that they were probably too busy to stop him should he attempt to leave, possibly not even realize it. That was all he needed to know, as he had finally one day decided to pack up a few things, take his weapons, and head on out of the place he was locked away for so long, using his... unstable teleporting spell. He told himself that he wouldn't be too long, and would explain to his mom and dad why he did it whenever he came back. Unless they were still busy, of course, but after this, maybe they would stop holding him away. Thus, this is where his adventure began.
