I couldn't tell you how many times I drew symbolic sketches involving that period and no one gave me a second glance.

Of course, the Germans here might go ballistic, considering they are whole Nazis about not being Nazis

That was like me in high school, but with hammer and sickles, haha. My notebook was covered in them. I would also go into history class already essentially being an expert on the Russian Revolution and Cold War xD. Like I was one of the only people to actually know who Lenin and Trotsky were. Pretty much everybody knew who Stalin was though.

First quarter, in school, we had to do a speech in Freshman Seminar about what we believed in, and people were picking regular topics and other stuff, you know what I picked?
Communism.
And when I presented, I improvised on a whole lot of it, throwing away a ton of what I wrote to improvise.
And I still got an A.

I wrote an anti-capitalist essay in high school and got an A. Our topic was oppression so we were able to pick something relating to that. I wrote about how capitalism is oppressive.
