Oh man. I LOVED the Walking Dead game. It was probably the most emotionally charged piece of entertainment I've ever seen. I stared at the credits for like five minutes when I was done trying to take in everything that had happened. I also felt like my choices really mattered, and there was no right or wrong answer. I think I'll replay it again after a few months, just so it's not so fresh.

Not to derail my own thread but, why is it that people who read the Ice and Fire books dislike the show? I watched season one, then I started reading -- made it up through about half of the fourth book so far.... I haven't really noticed anything drastically different yet. Could be wrong I suppose, but.... yeah.

Anyway morgan's half a wreck, huh. He should come join the party.

I don't know what Ice and Fire is, but I suspect it has something to do with Robert Frost.
I don't know what to put here right now.

These walkers are definitely decomposing. There's a clip on the StorySync from season one, that should show a little contrast..... they're rotten as fuck now.

Ice and Fire is Game of Thrones.

Mostly it was the casting and minor plot changes. One thing that kind of irked me was how they made Renly and Loras in an overtly gay relationship, whereas in the novels, it was vaguely hinted at and it could have either been true or just slander to try to discredit them. That and Asha Greyjoy being renamed Yara and looking and acting nothing like she does in the novels. Bleeeegh. However, I greatly enjoy both the show and the books, I actually started reading them at a friend's suggestion when the show was on, and I didn't realize they were the same thing until I hit the part in the first book where Ned has to put Lady down, because I saw most of that episode at a friend's place. But mainly from what I gathered, most people just don't like the casting and changing aspects of characters or omitting them altogether, like Stannis boning Melissandre to conceive a son (which is pretty out of character for him, considering his thing is being uber lawful and honourable), and missing some characters like the Reeds.

Paladin, A Song of Ice and Fire is the novel series Game of Thrones is based off of, and that's the title of the first novel. So, no Robert Frost. But there is a Robert Baratheon and a Jon Snow. ;D

Anyways, sorry for derailing your thread. Carry on!

I never gave a shit about video game characters more than I did for the characters in that game.

I was really pissed off when Carley died.

Some people should die, that's just unconscious knowledge

Fun fact, Lily in the game is the same one that's in the graphic novels that works for the Governor in Woodsbury. It was a very, very subtle cameo, given how integral she was in the game. Also, spoiler alert about Carley for anyone who wanted to play.

Oh this is a spoiler thread it's all good.

I can't believe Lily lives. Well, I can, because she was kinda hardcore, but emotionally I can't do it. Fuck you, Lily, you suck.

POTENTIAL SPOILER FOR THE SHOW WATCHING CROWD, BUT IT MAY NOT APPLY BECAUSE THE SHOW IS A LOOSE CANNON THAT PLAYS BY HIS OWN RULES, BUT IT PROBABLY WILL BECAUSE IT'S A BIG FRIGGIN' DETAIL.

Don't worry, she presumably gets killed with other Woodsbury guys after she kills the Governor for making her shoot Lori and her newborn baby as they try to escape the prison, which the Woodsbury people want for themselves because it's more secure. Her and the other Woodsbury people are surrounded by walkers, and the last panel is basically them running out of ammunition as the zombies close in. Karma comes around.
