Appearance:
Meliaduel is very feminine in appearance as most female Elves are. Standing roughly 5’ 2” tall she is very shapely and well toned. Her small size allows her to move about unnoticed extremely easily. She possesses hair of the purest white almost in complete contrast to her dark coal colored skin. Meliaduel has intense amber colored eyes that almost seem to burn with a deep inner fire when one looks at them. Her small mouth has luscious, plump, dark grey lips that she usually keeps colored into a dark reddish color. She hes long legs and walks in a very fluid motion. Her pure white hair is kept neatly cropped and will often be allowed to gain shoulder length in the back. She normally keeps her hair well hidden under a hood or cap of sorts to keep from being noticed. Meliaduel has a full body tattoo. This “tattoo” start at the ankle side of both heels on her feet. From there what appears to be a thin, very bright green Rose stem rises long the outside of either calf (lower leg) to the outside of the knees where it branches off into several stems that wrap around the upper legs to the outsides of her hips. From the hips the stems intertwine up along her sides to the underarms then curl up around the backs of the shoulders and wrap around the full length of both arms terminating at her wrists. Every 3 inches there are Rosebuds that start from the ankle and end at the wrists. During the day the Rosebuds will “bloom” into Red roses and revert to buds again during the night. Each “bloom” is about 1 inch in diameter with two large “blooms“, on the shoulder blades, that are 3 inches in diameter. Below each “bloom” and along the length of the “stem” Are little green leaves intermittently spaces along with little brown thorns along the full length of the “stem”. Lia favors wearing loose, flowing garment that allow for easy concealment of weapons and armor. Large, heavy cloaks are her clothing of choice. Usually dark in color to better hide her dark face.
Personality:
Meliaduel, prefers to be called “Lia” for short, is very driven and duty oriented. She likes to see things through from start to end and can be extremely difficult to dissuade from accomplishing her goal. Usually dark and brooding in nature she often displays a lighter side to her demeanor. She can be very kind and quite polite when it suits her needs or mood. Lia is very self conscious of her social position and will often seek ways to improve her current status even at the cost of friends or, in some cases, family. Lia looks down on most non-elven races such as Humans, Dwarves, Halflings, and the like seeing them as being inferior or beneath her. (respects them just doesn’t like them). She will often act aloof or disinterested in the people around her even though she may care very deeply for them. Lia is quiet and unspoken and generally prefers it that way though she can be very vocal and even cruel when she does talk. Lia fears failure and dishonor above all else.
Tattoo:
Lia’s Tattoo is more than what it seems. Aside from the Tattoo’s apparent ability to “bloom” during the day and “bud” at night is the fact that this tattoo is alive. What appears as a tattoo is, in reality, a Magend or a living spell. This spell was placed on her by a Great Wyrm Black Dragon by the name of Dantanus (which means Everlasting Terror) while she was enslaved in his service. The Magend was used to control her. Whenever Lia failed to complete a task or otherwise displeased Dantanus he would use the “thorns” to cause her extreme pain as punishment. While it leaves no physical marks or wounds on her it causes such intense pain that she will pass out from sheer exhaustion or shock. With Dantanus’ death the Tattoo no longer seems to work though the Magend remains in place to this day “blooming” during the day and “budding” at night. No way to remove it has been found. Lia is content to leave the Magend in place as long as the secret to the spell is never found.

Armor:
Lia rarely wears armor outside of a light chain mail shirt and leather padded trousers for sheer ease of movement and needed stealth. At heaviest she will don Dragon Scale made from Dantanus’ scales. (this armor was actually given to her by Dantanus himself while he lived) She normally wears traveling attire underneath a large, heavy, black cloak designed to conceal her weaponry.
