Character Quotes: “Enduring isn’t a choice. You breath, you live, you endure. There is no such thing as taking a break. Life just keeps coming at you whether you can take it anymore or not. I endure because there is no other option.”
Name: Miromi(Miro) Hyugar
Represented Element: Water
Physical Appearance: Miromi is 5’5’’ and 145 pounds (of which is mostly muscle). She has a tattoo on her shoulder, which is pictured and another one running down her sternum which is always covered up. This tattoo reads, Nirobi which was her mother’s name. Her skin is smooth but not flawless and has the occasional scars from minor childhood and occupational accidents but none that stand out. Her black hair is strait and falls just past the shoulders. When it’s wet her hair tends to curl up at the ends.
Personality: The scars of her childhood have greatly shaped Miromi’s personality. On one hand she tends to be rugged, easily going and mentally composed. She works well under pressure and while she doesn’t like to lead, she is a good person to fall back on. On the other hand, Miromi’s mental scars have left her a little more than just cynical. She is so serious that she is rarely found smiling and even when that does happen it won’t reach her eyes. In addition, she doesn’t tend to trust people with her secrets, her past, or her life.
Brief History: From the outside everything looked fine. No one knew it, no one foresaw it, and no one could have even guessed at it but those who had to endure it. Fifteen years ago a girl came home from school and shut the door behind her. She called out to her mother but her mother didn’t answer. The girl went to the kitchen to get herself a snack. She called out to her mother but her mother didn’t answer. The girl saw her mother’s body lifeless on the kitchen floor, her chest ripped and oozing from chin to the bottom of her rib cage. She called out to her mother but her mother didn’t answer.
At the age of seven, Miromi was tried for the murder of her mother. Evidence stacked up against her but eventually the true culprit was found. Miromi’s father, who had left them five years earlier had returned for unknown reasons and murdered her mother and then tried to frame his own daughter.
With her father locked away and her mother dead she moved in with her maternal uncle, a power plant worker. Until she was an adult, Miromi continued to live with him and had a knack for tinkering with machines. However the locals, who knew about her families past, continued to gossip and harass her so eventual she moved out. She traveled around Euthesae’s countryside for a year before the Entity appeared. Since then she has been busy trying to maintain various infrastructure as civilization begins to unravel.
Other: Miromi is strait although often tries to be indifferent. She is also terribly afraid she will take after her father. Due to her work with her uncle she is mechanically inclined.

Name: Zenix DeCalle
Clan and/or Race: Nobel Human, Rouge, Grey Warden, (Previously part of the Crows)
Personality: Zenix overall is very aloof. While she tries to work with her fellow Wardens she is unlikely to get to know strangers. Nevertheless, she is an excellent actress. “Whatever it takes” Esma used to tell her. Zenix has been cast in such roles as the seductress, the loyal wife, the naïve damsel in distress, the villain, the victim, ect.
Mannerisms: You will often find Zenix in the back of the group, closest to the exit, and eyeing her surroundings. The last year of being a Grey Warden has done nothing to override the training of the Crows. She needs her space and hates people being by her back. Perhaps, she is still waiting for the assassins to find her.
From what she’s been told she was the oldest daughter of a noble family based in Amaranthine. They say she was somehow caught by slavers and sold on the black market before her family could pay ransom. That’s when one of them first saw her. She was young but thanks to her bloodline unusually beautiful for a human. She was only five when she was sold and shipped to the far north. Her family was informed she had died in some accident and they eventually stopped looking for her. Well, that’s what the Warden’s tell her anyways. Zenix feels that they often like to make up stories to get people to do what they want. She doesn’t remember those years at all. All she knows is that her mother is Esma, her family, the Antivan Crows.
Zenix spent the next ten years of her life training under Esma, one of the top female assassins, and the following ten years living up to her true potential. Known as ‘The Shadow Strangler’, Zenix preferred not to get her hands dirty when well-placed poison could do the trick. She could charm the pants off most and pick the best of locks. One thing that always concerned her superiors, however, is that she refused to steal. ‘Morals,’ they would say, ‘will lead to her a bad end’ and morals did.
The job that came should have been expected. She had been grating on some nerves for a while and was beginning to outlive a lot of the competition. Late that night, unarmed, Zenix snuck into Esma’s room to warn the woman. Through the years, Esma had grown to think of Zenix as her daughter. Expecting the day would come, and knowing Zenix would not be able to kill her (thus forfeiting her life) Esma formed a plan years ago. That night, the two of them along with Esma’s Grey Warden lover, Luckan stole away to Ferelden. While Esma was too old and frail to undergo the ritual, Zenix did so in order to gain asylum.

Name: Zenix DeCalle
Age: 257 (appears to be about 26)
Job/Status: Escort, (Previously Daemon Guardian)
Equipment: A set of 10 magical daggers that return to their case after reaching a target.
History: Zenix was once the guardian of a kingdom to the far north. Her kingdom was peaceful until the day that the King’s silver medallion went missing. The kingdom’s legends stated that the land would remain in peace, harvests would never fail, and diseases would not plague the people so long as the medallion stayed within the boundaries of the kingdom. Zenix tried to track down the person that stole the medallion, but her journey took years and the mysterious thief kept eluding her. Eventually, the trail ran dry and she returned to her kingdom only to find that it had been utterly destroyed. Zenix has continued to wander alone of the years, picking up odd jobs and keeping an ever watchful eye out for her thief. Recently, a young boy names Hunter has come under her charge.
Physical Appearance: Hunter is a small and sickly child looking child. He has shaggy blonde hair in a bowl cut, green eyes and pale skin. He also has a small blue tattoo on his back. No one is really sure what the symbol stands for.
History: Hunter has no memory of his past but has been living with his adoptive family for a few years. Recently, he has been placed under the care of Zenix, his escort and guardian.
Age: Unkown (looks mid-twenties)
Equipment: Shadow Sword (drains life)
History: Once feared as the bringer and master of the afterlife, the power he consumed came at a price, as it slowly started to wear away at his body. Through a series of dark practices, Roikdlyn made a deal with a very powerful daemon in hopes of staying forever young. However, at the last minuet the deal went sour when he didn’t complete the task correctly and instead of being granted eternal youth, he was shut into the body of a boy named Hunter.
Note: Hunter and Roikdlyn are the same person, but Hunter is not aware of his other form nor of his powers. Every now and then the balance shifts and one transforms into the other. When they are ‘Hunter’ the Shadow Sword turns into a tattoo. Zenix is aware of Roikdlyn, but also knows Hunter is not and has decided not to tell him.

“So what are you going to do?” Xerus asked, his beady eyes focusing on her.
“I’m not sure,” Epi replied as she gazed out over the forest. She reached up and picked a ripe walnut from the tree branches above and handed it to the Ratatosk, perched on her shoulder.
Xerus took the nut with his tiny claws but held off eating it. “The others, they’re too tame. I suspect it comes from generations of living out in the middle of nowhere, being secluded from the rest of the world. Not you though, you’ve got that sparkle.” Xerus skillfully stripped of the shell of his treat, allowing the nymph time to think. “My point is that you have two choices, Epi. These aren’t mere rumors anymore. A war is coming. The world is going to burn- your world, Epi.”
“I know,” she said again, letting out a long sigh, “but how can I bear to leave this place? I’m not like you, Xerus, the only place I’ve ever lived is this village. I don’t even know what’s out there. Besides, is it really a good idea to leave my village behind? Unprotected?”
“The choice is yours, Epi. Go and meet the battle head-on or wait here for it to come to you…but if you choose to wait, I am certain your village is guaranteed to be destroyed.”
That was three years ago and no one from their village has seen them since. They are believed to be dead.
