Suggested Nation RPs to read up on?

I have been curious about Nation RPs for a while. I've read up on the FAQ/Guide here and dabbled in some Interest Checks. Though for those specific ones, they didn't get any farther than the OC (sometimes with no profiles even). I want to know more about Nation RPs and it would be great to have a few IC examples I can read up on. I would like to be able to personally see how they are played out and how characters and events are handled (those things still baffle me).

Can anyone suggest successful ones as a reference?

Also, if you go here and look up the interview with Kadaeux and Sinistred you will be treated to the two of them talking about nations RP's in a very approachable manner. It is a good launching point.
