"Right," said Silara, nodding and walking back further into the ship to the cargo bay, where Gwinoeh was analyzing their cargo, and it was all still in plain view.

He turned to glance at her for a moment before looking back at the cargo. "What?" he asked.

"Our friend up there is in the crawl space working on the sensors," said Silara. "He wants you to stop shunting power away from them to the shields or whatever." Gwinoeh snorted but still kept his back to Silara. "What are you doing, anyways?" asked Silara.

"I took a glance at our 'friend' through the CCTV," said Gwinoeh, holding up his datapad over his shoulder. There was one camera here in the cargo bay as well as one near the entrance hatch, both of which could be accessed from Gwinoeh's datapad, or up in the cockpit; they were one of the many additions Gwinoeh had made, no doubt to keep an eye on Silara to keep her hands away from his cargo. Silara knew she was a good crewmember, but she also knew the reputation she had developed as greedy and self-interested, and there was little doubt in her mind that Gwinoeh was afraid she would try to pocket some of his cargo for either personal use or for a little extra money on top of her normal cut.

    "And?" asked Silara.

"Looks like another smuggler to me," said Gwinoeh.

Silara nodded, as she had come to the same conclusion almost immediately. "And?" she repeated.

"We've got some extra room in here," said Gwinoeh. He turned to her, a gleam in his eye which unsettled her. "Let's see what he's got on his ship."

    "Wait, what?" asked Silara, incredulously.

"The rest of the repairs from those damn pirates are going to cost enough," said Gwinoeh, sighing. "This shipment won't cover it."

"Oh, so we turn pirate ourselves?" asked Silara.

"Just go see if he's done," said Gwinoeh. "I'll figure it out."

"We can't do this," said Silara, shaking her head. "Don't do this."

"We'll see," said Gwinoeh. "Just go see whether or not he's done."

Sighing anxiously, Silara turned and headed back to where she had left their as-of-yet-nameless guest. Peering down into the crawl space where he was, Silara tapped his boot and asked, "How much longer do you think?"

Luke turned back, swearing as he got shocked by a bolt of electricity. "Well, I'm almost done just a little re-wiring to do, I may also have a replacement if you have the credits aboard my ship. Both Corellian you see. Cheaper than going planetside to buy it, though on the most part it is still going well. She'll hold depending on how long your Captain decides to drain power, something that he is still doing by the way. I'd give it, five minutes with the level of power he is draining from the system. If he stops draining power, she'd hold up-to several days, so if this wasn't your ideal parking spot you could always find another." Luke slipped out a small datapad. "That has got my recommended power levels for using this makeshift sensors, different levels of power different amounts of time. Though that's the main hub done for now, I now need to know where the individual sensors are. On a ship this size, I'd say about three. One near the engines, one aft bow and one to port."

Luke slid out of the crawl space and picked up his rifle, slinging it again. He quickly pressed a button on his shoulder as he adjusted the strap, pushing a small button that lay under the cloth. There was no sound, the droids had not yet come across any resistance patrolling his ship. So at-least this far these two smugglers were trustworthy. Though they probably wouldn't be if they inspected his cargo.

Silara cursed inwardly as she heard the man explain what else needed to be done; going up to the first two sensors would be easy enough, but the one back in the cargo bay would certainly be an issue. "My Captain is doing some work back in the cargo bay right now," explained Silara smoothly, without any betrayal of the true reason she did not want to talk him back there; Silara's finest trait was lying, and she had perfected it over the years. It was one of the reasons Gwinoeh had seen her to be so valuable, and at the same time the reason he barely trusted her alone. "We can work on the ones towards the front," said Silara, heading towards the other two sensors. As they reached them, Silara said, "By the way, I'm Silara."

Luke sighed slightly, there was a stranger aboard the ship. Of-course he was busy in the cargo bay. "Alright, if you really want you could probably land without the rear one, but I wouldn't recommend it. Especially if you have a possibility of being attacked by pirates, they could come right up into your blind spot."

Luke got up and looked at her. "Call me Luke." He bowed slightly, mockingly. Something was going on that didn't quite make sense. "Lead the way."

"Of course," said Silara with a smile that looked as genuine as anyone's true smile; another trait she had acquired and perfected. She spun and lead Luke up towards the front of the ship, to about where the bow sensor was. "The proximity scanners are really just for anything that is getting too close," she said. "Maybe a bit of trouble with asteroids or debris, but our regular sensors will be able to detect anything else coming at us, don't you worry." She laughed. As he got to work, she glanced over her shoulder at a faint noise which came from the rear of the ship. Dismissing it, she looked back towards Luke as he began to repair the sensor.

Luke laughed. "That is the trick isn't it, you may not visually be-able to notice anything like a minor asteroid or even an up close ship, hell without them you could get boarded without knowing it." Luke too, ignored the noise. Peaked by curiosity, but on the whole. Ignoring it getting to work on the sensor, again the actual sensor was completely fried. He again, would have to try and re-route them. It would be far easier to bring a replacement but he didn't trust letting one of these crew members onto his ship. The captain could definitely NOT be trusted, this girl. She seemed genuine but at the same time something was off with her general behavior. It was... He didn't know. But sure as hell, he didn't want to remain docked a second longer than he had to be.

The next few minutes passed tensely as Luke finished his repairs to the sensors. By glancing down at his work and applying what she knew of the sensors and her own mechanical knowledge, she figured he was almost done; just in time too, as the intercom chirped with Gwinoeh's voice, "You guys done up there?"

"Just about," said Silara, reaching over and pressing the button so her boss could hear her. "Why what's up?"

"Hurry up and get back here," Gwinoeh said. "I want you guys to take a look at the sensor back here now."

Silara glanced down at Luke but quickly replied, "Ok, on our way as soon as we finish up here."

"Good," was all Gwinoeh said in reply.

Luke stood up, streching himself and rubbing down the dust that had gathered on his knees. They obviously didn't have a high maintenance clause and the ship obviously wasn't made to impress any Imperials, fellow smugglers then, finally made obvious. Which is hence why he hadn't been allowed straight at the rear sensor array, they had been hiding Cargo. Still it wouldn't do well for him to just go in and steal it, he wasn't a big fan of piracy.

He put his tools back in his belt and stood up again, being all to polite and turning to the women. "Ladies first". He also didn't know the way....

"Of course," said Silara with a smile. She slid past Luke and headed back towards the cargo hold. "Thanks again for doing this," she said without looking over her shoulder. "It's hard to find decent people in a galaxy like this sometimes." It was only a dozen meters or so down the corridor and a slight bend to the cargo hold, and Silara punched the access panel to send the door sliding open. Gwinoeh was standing there, leaning against one of the boxes, and Silara noticed immediately that he had done a good job of hiding their cargo, or rather making it look inconspicuous. Where before there had been sealed containers of a type which would only ever be construed as medical supplies, or spice, stood large, multipurpose containers which Gwinoeh had stashed all of them inside. They usually did not bother with concealing their cargo too elaborately, since most of their customers handled their business in areas where customs were not too tight, but they kept large boxes around just in case, and good thing they had this time as well.

"Captain Gwinoeh," he said, stepping forward and offering his hand. "Thanks for helping out here. The sensor's right behind you if you don't mind checking it out. I really appreciate it all, bud."
