Still proud of Norway!
Both of them were sleeping in the bed in that motel room somewhere on the British coast. Adrian laid up against Cassandra's warm body, holding around her and her pretty dress, neither of them had the energy to undress and so they just fell asleep in what they were wearing. Cassandra had wrapped herself around Adrian, and he couldn't help but blush as he felt her chest pushed tightly against his, but he tried to just enjoy the moment they had now. He didn't manage to say anything either, he simply fell asleep, holding the woman he truly loved in his arms, feeling safe. He loved her, he loved everything about her, and that she trusted him to do this and she would give herself time to fall in love with him, he knew that this was true love. It could work, it had to, for what else would they do?
Soon, they both fell asleep, and hopefully dream wonderful dreams about the time they could share if it hadn't been for this war.

Cassandra slept without dreaming really. It was a deep, uninterrupted sleep until her body decided to wake itself up. She groaned as she started to stretch. It was then she felt a body next to her and remembered that she had fallen asleep next to Adrian that night. Oh her dear, sweet Adrian. A smile pulled at her lips as she looked at him sleeping. Those same smiling lips placed a soft kiss to his as she freed herself from his grip. Cas did her usual morning routine as well as she could before she found herself sitting on the bed simply waiting on Adrian to awaken from his slumber. She hummed a soft song as she ran her fingers over his hair and down the back of his neck. This was something she had always wanted but with this war going on, it wasn't the right time or place. Cassandra wanted to allow herself to love Adrian the way he blindly loved her but she knew she wouldn't be able to live if he died. She found it so odd how someone she had known for just a few days meant so much to her. Did this happen all the time or were they special in some way? She continued to hum softly as she touched Adrian's skin with the tips of her fingers.

Adrian hadn't dreamt anything, just loose images that passed him eyes as he slept a good night's sleep. Once he finally woke up, he felt something touching him with something soft. That something proved to be someone, and that someone was Cassandra. Her soft and slim fingers brushed along his skin, Cassandra sitting patiently and waiting for him to wake up. He smiled, she really cared for him if she didn't love him that was. She hadn't said so yet, but as long as she was faithful to him and trusted him, he was happy.
He stretched out himself as he gave a smile to Cassandra, and quietly listened to her humming. Her soft humming could have brought him straight back to sleep if he hadn't slept as good as he had.
"What are you humming on?" Adrian asked her while he sat up next to Cassandra in the bed, placing his hands on her lap and smiling at her. It was something pretty to wake up to when Cassandra sat there, Adrian could get used to that.

"Just an old song my mother used to sing to me while she waited on me to wake up." Cassandra admitted with a soft blush covering her cheeks. The girl looked down at their hands as they rested on her lap. She blushed deeper and smiled over at Adrian. "I'm really glad you're here with me." There was a shy look on her face as she spoke. It wasn't like her to be this open with someone. Cas actually liked it. "I should probably change back into my uniform if we are going to meet up with your commander soon Adrian." She knew it would be close to time for them to go anyway. They couldn't stay here forever after all. Though Cassandra could have easily gotten used to waking up to Adrian every morning. "Or I could stay in this dress and just protect you from a distance." She teased as she leaned over on him. Her face rested near his neck and she turned her head just enough that her nose pressed against his neck. Cassandra breathed in deeply and basked in the red glow of his aura. He smelled good to her and it was a smell she wouldn't forget any time soon. "You smell good." She mumbled against his skin.

Adrian nodded to Cassandra, she would have to dress into her uniform if she wanted to join Adrian, and so Adrian helped Cassandra up from the bed while he took on his jacket and helmet. "If you can follow me wherever I am in that lovely dress, I wouldn't complain." He said just as teasingly back to her, and grabbed the rest of his gear. He had quite a few things to carry, his rifle and all the rest of his gear which was safe inside his duffel bag. While he waited for Cassandra to undress, he looked out the window of the hotel, and witnessed more ships sailing into the harbour. These ships were smoking, holes and wrecks in the ships after being bombed by the Germans, some ships would surely not return to English soil ever. Along them, British men who lost their lives on foreign soil.
"You smell good too, and I like your hair. It fits you, though I wonder how you look with long hair." he said back to her, on instinct turning around without thinking about it. And when he turned, he saw Cassandra standing there, with most of her clothes off and just standing in the nude. He turned instantly around, covering his eyes. He was speechless, he had just seen her naked, and now she surely must have thought that he was...he didn't have words at all, and so he just walked out of the room, ashamed of himself, and down to the reception. He would wait for her, hoping that she would come down to him and join him, even though he had seen her...He just felt dirty and filthy, even though he didn't mean it at all.
