Welcome, Future Dragon Riders. (more details to be released)

You go about you life as it usually has been, but strange what is that object it seems like a pendent. You come closer and you see the pendant it is of a dragon with its wings spread held in its paws is a strange gem the glows red dimly on the back of the dragon their is a man sitting on a saddle. You get a strange feeling from this pendant, it seems to call to you. You take the pendant but nothing happens, you continue about your day as usual. But over the course of the day that feeling never diminishes or passes, then finally that night you decide to try the pendant on when you do the gem glows brightly and fire engulfs you but you aren't hurt and you are not burned. Then finally the fire vanishes, You find yourself somewhere else, in a open field, in the distance you can see a castle, and you cant help but wonder where you are.

This is Dragons Keep (name subject to change). Here you shall learn to use your magical abilities and other magical courses, train in combat, and most of all how to Cooperate with and Ride your dragon. You shall become a bonded pair with your dragon. Your shall be trained in flying, feeding, fighting alongside and protecting each other. It will take time, but when it is over you shall be a Dragon Rider.

Appearance: Kaladin is a tall man, he has long black hair that goes down the base of his neck but parts around his eyes, he also has deep brown eyes. His body build is rather slender but he is still very strong and nimble.

Personality: Kaladin is a kind man he is caring to his students and staff he is a natural born leader. He is not hard on his students unless its called for, he is charismatic and kind he would rather talk out a situation then turn to combat. (the rest To Be Revealed)

History: He was a prominent member in the order of the Dragon riders his parents served and died in the order and so would he. He sprung at the chance to teach at Dragons Keep as soon as he got the chance. Kaladin holds a strong hate for Demons and Fallen Riders. They are the reasons he lost his parents. Kaladin never found the right girl in all of his years, he never made it a priority he was always devoted to the order and strove for the greater good for the order no matter the sacrifice to himself. He has seen much combat but does not talk about it, instead he does not tell people of his combat until they are much father down the line in combat training. (more To Be Revealed)

Teachers start with dragons while students shall acquire them a while after they arrive at Dragons Keep.

For teachers Dragons are fully grown, for students they are eggs. You shall be paired with an egg, eggs shall hatch after your characters touch, (time varies but must be at least a few hours after)

Also I would like to state, any info shall be posted here then edited in to the opening post.

First info post: Dragons Keep used to be focused on magic and for combat training you would have to go to a new school. For Dragon Riders must be good with every form of weaponry. But two headmasters ago Dragons Keep began to train in weapons such as swords, bows, staffs, greatswords battlaxes ETC. Vendes has carried on this tradition and is building on it.

When the RP begins Kaladin shall be speaking to the teachers about what they shall be teaching, if you have anything specific you want to teach post it, so far Vendes shall be teaching the students on most Dragon related courses.

Name: Leon Vahleren (my favorite character of mine)

Appearance: Leon is above average height at about 6' 2', he has messy hair that comes down just above his eyes covering half of his ears and neck along with this he has dark blue eyes. Leon is a very fit person due to his home life he tended to stay outside if not walking around town then climbing the trees of the forest which surronded his home town and jumping from one to the other which he has gotten very good at.

Leons dragon will look like this, except the prominent color is black with red markings all alnong its back and its belly and underside is black. As well it has no spikes on its neck or arms and has five fingers on its claw.


Personality (optional): Leon didnt have the happiest childhood he had a abusive father and a neglectful mother, and due to this he tended to distance himself from home whenever he got the chance. AS soon as he was old enough he left home not knowing were to go but just wanting to leave home. He is not a very open person but when you go through the troubles of getting to know him he is kind, caring, intuitive, humble and protective. Due to what Leon has gone through he is a very troubled person, but he will never let anyone know easily. He will always be willing to help others with their problems but keeps his problems to himself he claims it is his baggage and no one else needs to be trouble by it. He trys to keep his head up high but has always been difficult for him cause it seems the world always throws another problem in his face. Leon prefers the snowy forests, it was his place of solitude where he would usually go for time to think or just for a break from the insanity of his home.

History: Leon would love to say that he had a normal life, he would love to say that but did he no. Leon lived with a abusive father and neglectful mother he and his sister Avery lived through the abuse they dished out. Leon tried to protect his sister from the abuse his family gave out. She would accompany him when he left home follow below him as he moved from tree to tree. One day he left without her, he didnt worry about it cause his mother and father were out. But while Leon was gone his father returned home drunk as hell. He found Avery playing and for reasons beyond Leons understanding began to beat her worse then ever before, when Leon returned he found his house abandoned and his sister dead. Leon was 17 when this happened and for a year he lived on his own doing jobs here and there making money anyway he could, hoping that one day he could have a chance at a better life.

History: Born to the Lady and Lord Delisle almost 100 years ago, Gwynne's childhood consisted of being taught "Lady-like skills" and being weighed upon hand and foot. As a teen, she was courted by a variety of young lordlings, for she was a beautiful girl and her father was influential in their kingdom. She would have probably ended up marrying one if she hadn't have found the egg.

A few days after her 18th birthday, she touched the egg and her dragon was born. She didn't wait for her parents to forbid her from keeping the creature, simply leaving with only the clothes on her back, her new companion and a small fortune she had "borrowed" from the family funds. The pair travelled for a few years before being enlisted into the Academy. However, Gwynne was disheartened by the poor teaching and limited learning (namely, the focus on magic, in which she was poor, to say the least. She began to move around again, her dragon,Pyruss now fully grown.

The two worked as mercenaries for the next few decades,learning a variety of fighting techniques along the way (most prominently, ninjutsu). During her time as a soldier-for-hire, she damaged her leg,causing her to use a cane. The leg has since healed, but she keeps the cane as a potent weapon. Recently, she has returned to the Academy as a teacher and taken the title of Lady DeLisle after her parents' deaths.

Personality (optional): TBR I don't like putting it down in solid as it doesn't let a character flow out how I wish. I will say she has a split personality. Extremely self sufficent and experimental in her nature. She is not worried about bringing harm to others if it benefits what she is looking to accomplish in the name of science and the pursuit of knowledge.

History: (self explanatory) Alexandria had been born in Germany to a wealthy family of scientists and scholars. Her entire family had been intriguing and highly intelligent throughout its history. Her family itself stretching back long into the past. Her family tree could easily be traced to around the time of the dark ages. While she had no idea of her family's dark history she herself had lived her life unaware of the rarity of her family and that there are very few of what they are left in the world. She had been born a vampire but is considered living and not dead. Such a vampire is the Royal True blooded race. This race was the first of the vampires to come into the world. All others after them were considered vampires themselves and not of the true blooded descendent. Hated and feared by the other vampires and naturally overwhelmed most of the true bloods had been killed all except her blood line. Her family and past family are the last remaining. She is her family's only child and is the last remaining true blood. She does not know of what she is and it will not become active until shortly after her 16th Birthday. She awoke one day to find her parents not longer there and herself alone inside her large house alone and without knowledge of what was to come. Unlike normal vampires Truebloods are not affected by sunlight.

Growing up in a pretty dangerous world, Ryu had to learn the arts of combat and survival to stay alive. Fighting opponents off with his sword And survive by finding food by any means necessary, he was raised by a small band of thieves even thought he never was so good at it or really liked stealing in the first place. He is a good fisherman, and a even better fighter, so now days he could basically earn cash to survive.

History: Artemis was born in Washington, but his family moved to Illinois when he was seven. he went to school there, and got average grades. he only ever made one friend, but he moved away by the time Artemis was 16. he spends his time on the roof of his house, staring up at the sky.

Personality (optional): Simon is a joker. Though his trade tends to keep him isolated from other people, he loves to take the chance to hit a tavern, play some music, and make people laugh. He's usually funny around ladies as well simply because the prospect of a woman being interested in someone like him is a laughable affair in his mind.

History: Simon doesn't remember what happened to him in his early childhood. He remembers his name, that he once had a family that loved him, and that he was happy. There was a terrible event, he knows, for the house he remembers is nothing but a charred chimney now. He woke up one morning in a field, a little older then he last remembered. Wondered for hours before finding what was left of his home. After that, he left for the big city. He became a street urchin until the local thieves took him in. He started as a decoy, but quickly made a name for himself with a mix of distracting charm, grace, and stealth. Some nights, however he likes to walk the coast outside the city, playing his silver flute, the only heirloom left from a past he barely remembers.

History: Sheamus comes from a family of Irish werewolves, though his lot is a bit embarassing, where other's are various Reds and Browns typical of an Irishman, he seems to turn 'white' for some inexplicable reason. The Big different for his family is that the typical 'Irish Rage Issues' made it far easier for them to simply over power the 'angry beast' that is fabled to lie take over all werewolves when they change, and doing so makes it equally easier to transform at will, though doing so still brings with it instinctual and emotional balance changes, It doesn't drive them insane as it may to saaay, a fat lazy american.

His great 'dream' in life was to hunt down and retrieve his grand ol Ancestors legendary sword 'Caladbolg', a weapon of incredible raw power when wielded responsibly, though his plan to leave and search when he 'came of age' was interupted when he came across this strange pendant which transported to a Castle controlled by Dragon Riders. Needless to say, his immediate plan has changed immensly, but ultimately becoming a dragon rider would make it easier to seek out his family's legacy someday, even if it did delay his search for a long while yet.

Appearance: He's about 6'1" and doesn't look very tough at all, infact relying mostly on magic for offensive and defensive means, though he is very nimble and quick on his feet despite his totally goofy out-fit.

Why? Because, How could you not laugh at that appearance?

Personality: He displays himself as a total Looney, Highly Flamboyant, Completely Care-free despite his duties as a teacher. Regardless, While he gives himself off as totally unfit for his duties, his classes seem to result in successful lessons learned, and he's certainly not shy about proving himself on occasion, though he's also not shy about messing with his students heads... perhaps out of a little philosophy that 'If you can't handle an ally messing with you, how could you handle an enemy?'

Also, regardless of his deceptively useless appearances, He will turn fierce quickly if his students are threatened by an out-side source, or if someone 'inside' suddenly becomes a threat to the others.


History: Mephisto was actually a completely normal man 'once upon a time', with a different name even, but a certain event involving an encounter with a demon, some corruption/possession, and such cost him his original memory, and led to him acting as a servant of a specific demon. Fate had other things in mind however, as in the midst of his 'duties' while he was still only freshly affected, he encountered Kaladin Trevlon, for whom it was not too difficult to erase the corruption that hadn't completely integrated with him, though it still left him 'altered'.


As it happened, despite having a mostly human form, certain demonic traits remained, such as his eyes, ears, teeth, and tail [Long and spindly with a fur tuft on the end], though it also left his body physically weaker than one would prefer, and though he could build up his stamina plenty, he couldn't build up his strength. This weakness has been compensated for by an excess of magical study and practice in numerous different kinds, which also led to a discovery that his body was easily 'changed' by magic, which he uses to do all manner of entertaining things.


It was nothing short of mind boggling that someone who had be twisted by a demon turned out to be a suitable dragon rider, and even became one of the schools teachers, though his specialty obviously is magic, mostly in certain specialties, he's quite capable of assisting other teachers in their lessons when called upon.

History:

Shiro was always a troublemaker, he found fun in everything and enjoyed teasing other children and adults. His parents weren't home much so he usually didn't get any scolding, they were on business trips in America and Europe, leaving Shiro with his grandparents. Shiro was taught swordplay by his grandfather. He loved to swing his wooden sword he carved himself. When Shiro was 12, his grandfather died due to incurable sickness, leaving Shiro alone with his grandmother. He never cryed, he promised not to. He would always smile, no matter what, always joking around. It was field trip with his class when he found beautiful pendent, he took it asking around if it belonged to anyone. Not finding owner, Shiro took it home, putting it beside his bed. Never thinking what it could be, that beautiful pendent...

Personality: Cane is an outgoing teen. He loves to make friends and is eager to please to the point of annoyance to some people. The rest will be shown throughout the RP.

History: Cane, at a young age, learned and perfected a certain style of hand-to-hand combat, though he doesn't use it that often. The teen loves wolves and dragons and animals of the sort, and has a per wolf of his own that he domesticated himself since it was a pup.
Cane always loved to dig around the yard through all his life, and was usually a dirty mess. Most of the time, his searches ended up fruitless, only on a select few digs did he come up with something. However, on one dig, he found this pendant. He never showed it to anyone, and kept it hidden within his room. He never figured out what whose or what it was, but he knew he was gonna keep it no matter what.

Personality: She is quite shy and quiet around strangers and gets very nervous when in a crowd. When she is around people she trusts and likes she is quite the opposite, quite happy and energetic. She isn't confident in her own abilities since she was always compared to her brother.

History: Alice has been living inside a village of half-animals that is located in a giant forest for her entire life. She has 1 older brother that has always overshadowed her. He was half wolf and was very talented at almost anything he tried. And while her people could change into their animal counterpart she couldn't even do that. To overcome this problem she learned a spell that could make her wings grow, although she could hold it up for a maximum of 30 at first. She did practice the spell a lot to lengthen the time she could keep it active. This didn't stop them from being the best of friends with each other. They always played in the woods together and on one of these trips she found a very nice pendant.

Long silver white straight hair that reaches her knees she stands 5’6 as an average for a drow of being slender and agility. Her eyes are the color of a golden crimson hue yet darken with her moods to a deep shade of ruby red. She mostly wears long dresses for she is an enchantress, with black and red colors is her emblem. She has tribal tattoos upon her right arm and up her shoulder. Her skin complexion is a few shades darker then her hair, pale in the moonlight. Black leather long sleeve gloves and high knee boots with red and gold lining.

Personality (optional): Confident in her superior skills and knowledge, she is fearless and in control in any situation because of her pride. Stubborn and intimidating she is strong willed to succeed and accomplish the task giving to her. Her morals and ambitious adept to her potential strength and inner magical techniques with Passion. She is hard driving but to dominate ,is her key in life no matter the sacrifice.
History: Maya was taught discipline and to adapted to her surroundings her entire life. She is a dark elf and her parents sent her and her sister to wizardry academy until Maya discovered her gifts of being an enchantress. Her family became more vengeful as the Fallen Riders became mayhem as they tried to control Maya with a necklace holding special property's to do ones bidding. As she grew older , they noticed how her physic abilities became more advance then possible they tried to kill Maya yet unleashing uncontrollable physic abilities she adsorbed their souls and abilities within herself as her tribal tattoo would glow during this process. She understood where she belong now as she became awaken it would seem from a long sleep. Her journey was then set off on her own to learn the lore of the dragons at her adolescence years to the Guild Shadow Knights. (Teen years in human years).Once she return she found herself a different woman. She raised an army dragon along her journey and learned the habitats of how one dragon shall think, feel, survive ,different elements, species, inner wisdom energy, secrets of soul binding. She then is assigned to join the Fallen Riders along with Passion with the secrets she possess and to over throw the Dragon Riders.
