Nicholas muttered a curse under his breath spotting the pack. He only had time to shoot one round off before they were too close then inside the building. The sniper slung his rifle over his shoulder heading to the door before it flew open being forced by a voidspawn. He stumbled back and drew his side arm shooting two rounds into the , following the body out the door. If he had even received the message he had not noticed it and was unable to do as instructed.

Just miles from the group, a helicopter flew over the civilization into the barren lands. "Advise warrior 22 keep a altitude of... Three hundred meters from surface." A voice said over the frequency. The pilot looked over to his copilot, adjusting elevation.

Nikki heard several shots and she cursed. She rose her rifle, lightning fast, to the wall nearest to her. She squeezed the trigger and a bright red beam shot out. She burned a sizable hole through the wall and kicked it down. She rushed to Nicholas, a man, not wearing much armor at all, which surprised Nikki a little bit. She sent a BP message, and after a second of no response, she said,
"Feirfek! Get out of the building!" She yelled, she felt a hint of surprise at her own voice, having a Californian accent. She hadn't spoken aloud in years, it was always communication with BP.

Nicholas looked up at the figure unsure if she was affiliated in the crawler stirr up he threw himself into. The sniper had tilted his head sideways to show his confusion until she spoke. He quickly nodded then looked around the halls and the window out she had improvised to reach him which he took to exit the building. Behind them down the hall was consumed by darkness but movement could be heard.

"Okay. Come over that bridge then turn left.. And engage." The co pilot told Dylan who nodded back and tilted the helicopter to the right towards a collapsed bridge, the engine could be heard along with the propellor sounds to those in the battlezone.

Nikki followed closely behind Nicholas, when they were both out, Nikki stopped and fired rocket rounds at the building. Aiming for the walls that specifically support the building, eventually collapsing the building. She sharply turned to Nicholas, now came the questions.
"I want a sitrep of Earth right now." She demanded in a stern voice.

Nicholas looked at the woman for a second before he unlocked the cylinder in his revolver, tilting it back to discard the used bullets then slowly putting replacements in while he spoke. "You must've been asleep for the past few years.. Well, an outbreak occurred destroying the whole east coast of the US by some things. Ever since we've been fighting them back to ensure we stay alive as a species. Now I was taken out of my precinct only recently to do what I gotta do." He said locking the chamber back, holstering the handgun. "And who in god's knowledge might you be?"

The helicopter flew overhead the small convoy into the ruins of city. It wasn't long before the pilots sighted a group of bladewing voidspawn preparing to chase the unwanted guest that was in their skies. They were all perches up on a building which gave the pilots no time but time to act. They flew up and started a course to fly over the building. " Calling guns." Dylan announced before launching a missile into the building being guide by his co pilot for max efficiency. An explosion echoed and sounded throughout the whole ruins.

Nikki nodded at the information, relaying it to the EFS Archeon, which was in orbit above. And then he asked,
"And who in god's knowledge might you be?"

Nikki stood silent for a moment, deciding whether or not she should reveal the ESEF presence on Earth. A full army of infantry, with air, armor and heavy weapons support in orbit, ready to drop in a moments notice. The 43rd Legion, a combined attack force comprised of veterans who had fought on countless battlefields on planets Earth had never even seen before.
"An ESEF Corpsman." She plainly said. "Now, do you have a certain objective you wish to complete out here? If not, we should head back to your camp."
