A peculiar and unique thumping sound marked Kyle's approach as Jazz piloted him into the hangar, settling down when Donny had finally moved all the junk out of the landing pad. As the rotor spun down, Jazz clambered out of the pilot's seat and into the main area, surveying the group until she spotted the metal behemoth. "You and your silly voices," she quipped at him, punching his armor lightly.

"Alright, people, transport is here, we know what we're doin? If so, let's roll! Places to be, and all that. Sooner we get all these boon things up, the sooner I can put that payload back in Kyle." The big smile that spread across her face as she finished didn't quite seem like it was spawned by a completely sane mind, especially given the topic.

Kaelana pretty much ignored Jazz's arrival as she moved to the map and canted her head. "One. I have a name and it's not 'scary woman with the two colored eyes. It's Kaelana. Two. If I am called by anything but my name, I will snap someone's neck. Three. The group is too small to split up. There's thirteen boons and too many parts for us all to carry while defending ourselves because if we drop it and it breaks, we will be fucked. Plus we only have one transport. As of now, anyways. Look. The Empire State Building, four Radioshacks, three Best Buys, a Sprint tower, two AT&T towers, a Verizon tower, and this power plant. That's our spots. We should go to them in that order - By what's closest. It's going to take maybe a month. Or two. That thing will run out of fuel and fuel for it out there is slim to none. We need to use it sparingly. I know a few rest spots generally clear of Anomolies that are safe. Eggheads can set up the Boons and the Muscle will keep the perimeter clear. Simple."

She laid out the plan that she thought was safest before moving away from the group to gear up. "Don't take your Gashelms off out there unless you want to mutate or die. Or both." She shrugged as her knives and throwing stars were equipped before the helmet and suit.

Adam listened closely as the security woman - who very much had a name - Kaelana laid out the plan. He nodded simply and quietly as she pretty much lectured him on all things plan related. and now I look a big asshole. Nice one. he thought. At much the same time, their transport arrived and it appeared that they would be heading out right away. Which was definitely all well and good. Adam clapped the computer programmer on the shoulder and gave a ,"well, you heard the lady. let's go! accompanied by a smile.

he walked over to his own locker and put on his helmet and suit, suit first helmet last. With that done, he picked up his own tool kit and waited for the others to signal they were ready. The pilot, and her helicopter, had been the ones holding them up. Well, wasn't that just typical. Though, the fact that she'd gone so far as to name it...was a little interesting.

Garet put away the unfinished waffle and saved his work on the PDA. The reason for that is he'd been called over. As the person asked him if he could work the map, Garet got to work. By the time the man had speculated about the meanings of the orange spots on the map, Garet's fingers were nothing more than a flesh-colored blur on the keyboard. The first thing he'd managed to do was pull up a legend. "Well, the orange spots are where we set up the Boons." he replied. He did hear Kaelana --what a name, huh?-- name the locations. As she named them, Garet pulled up an image from the computer's library of pictures. He nodded to the woman. "In that case, we're about... 15 kilometers from the Empire State Building." Garet turned to the pilot, who'd just arrived. "You think your 'Kyle' has enough fuel for a round trip totaling 30 kilometers?" he asked. Garet turned away to go and suit up. After putting on the suit, he put on the Gashelm, and immediately fired up the scanners in it. Of course, there were no environmental hazards here, but the only things that knew what was out there were the Anomolies.

"Heh, yeah." Donny used his real voice now, since he was having a hard time finding a responds using the voice banks. He was already suited up and everything; M.A.D Suit, shotgun, and his jumper inside the suit; in case, for whatever reason, he needs to get out of the M.A.D Suit. "I hope you're plan doesn't involve us walking there. True that Kyle might be a bit short on gas, though that I doubt, if we take the walking road we'd just increase our chances of getting picked off by uglies. Of the few flying uglies, none of them could catch Kyle if Jazz knows what she's doing, and if they do, that's were we come in, see." Donny also began to point out the path they would need to take if they were going by ground, and the path that would take them the fastest. "Lot's of these spots are either in or just past nests of them uglies, and they out number us five to one. Numbers won't matter too much, however, if we're in the sky." Donny moved away from the map and did a quick weapons check. Everythng was functional as he began to saunter over to Kyle. [b]”Besides the risk of going on foot, I’m not exactly built for speed. Better that I’m airdropped into the right locations then you guys having to wait for me.

"Guys... GUYS!" Jazz waited for Donny and Garet to shut up before continuing. "Of course Kyle can handle a 30km flight. He goes 500, easy, fully loaded. I'd be more scared of how long you expect me to stay up there: distance is easy, it's the idling that'll kill ya. I only got 4 hours of flight time, and some of that'll be taken up by actually getting out there. If we're gonna take longer than that, I'll need to land him so we can get our butts outta there. But this is the Empire State Building... no helipads." She took a frustrated pause as she tried to puzzle things out. "I'll have to drop you guys and find some other place to land, but I hate splitting the group. Unless we want to climb 2000 steps from ground level, it's not like the elevators are going to work. Except that they will once you get the boon running... here's what I'll do. We'll make a drop at the tower's top..." here she moved forward and pointed out the point on the display, "and I'll clear out the tower base. I'll land, and defend while we wait for the boon to go up. Once it's up, take the elevators down and we'll make our escape." She rubbed her chin thoughtfully.

"How strong are these things we'll be fighting? Strong enough to pierce Kyle's hull? If so, I'll need help keeping them off him, I imagine, and I don't see why there would be any of those confounded things on top of the building. Seems to make more sense to me that we only drop techy here up there, and the rest of us make our stand on the ground." She looked at Garet a little apologetically. "Think you can handle it?"

"I was thinking airdropped, but I guess that's safer. The uglies we'll be fighting varies in strength, but they'll wreck shit with the Kyle if you let them get their grubby paws on it. I haven't seen too many flies around, so I doubt they'll be an issue, but what I'm worried is finding a safe place for Kyle to land. Admittedly, there aren't much." Donny looked over the map once again, and sure enough, no where around the empire State Building that would qualify as good landing for Kyle. Maybe ten years ago, before most of the buildings turned into ruins, but now now. "Dropping us onto the Empire state is probably the best plan. We'll have techie set up the boon while the rest of us make sure nothing bothers him. Jazz, you and Kyle would need to make sure none of the uglies can make it up the tower. Or near teh tower, if were that lucky. I wouldn't hold my breath for that."

Once their pilot had laid out her plans, and Adam had avoided the fight between Donny and Garet by simply not saying anything and watching the display; he spoke up,"I'll go up there with him. I'm...not so good with the insides, I mean I can set those up if we had to...but we're going to need to make sure this thing actually connects with the overall power grid, too...and doesn't just power up that one building. That's what I'm here for and to secure him to the building. climbing is ...kind of a hobby for me anyway. Besides, think of how much wind there's going to be up there. he could get easily blown right off, if he's not careful. Adam paused and then added, holding up his pistol,"Here's my fighting ability. I...suck terribly at defending much of anything. i mean, I've only shot this thing a couple of times before...at tin cans and stuff.

Having said this, it dawned on the engineer that most of them didn't actually know his name...oops. Well, better late than never, he supposed, to introduce yourself to the rest of the group. he said, rather sheepishly,"Oh yeah...my name's Cole, Dr. Adam Cole. I have my degree in electrical engineering, if you're curious. Hi , everyone. Awkward....this is so awkward right now..say something! but all he managed was,"Go...Boon team 1! ...Yeah!

"Then you guys'll just have to be fast about it." She didn't like the plan, as there was so much that could go wrong, but it would apparently have to do. "If worst comes to worst I'll put him on the road." Jazz guessed she maybe should have upgraded Kyle's landing gear for that sort of thing, but hindsight was 20/20.

With a sigh she returned to her pilot seat, giving the Dr. an appraising glance before plopping down and putting on her Gashelm. "Yes, Boon Team 1... wooooooooo." She was already wearing her heavily-modified armor; she'd had to slim it down a lot so she could still fit in her chair, and sealed the neck to the helmet, which also strayed from the spec considerably, the filter in the back and the sides modified to make room for Kyle's HUD and life-support system. Once it was on and she was connected in, she fired Kyle's rotors up again, the sudden noise and wind hopefully catching everyone's attention. Over the ship's intercom, she broadcast into the hanger, "Well, stop your dilly-dallying, fellows, places to be, boons to set up, and all that."

Garet nodded at Jaz, smirking. "If there's anyone that can handle it, I'm your man." the tech-expert replied. "That, and if you find anyone faster with technology than me, I wanna meet 'em!" Garet then opened up his bag and revealed his holster. "Besides, I don't think there's anything more dangerous than a nerd with a gun." Garet turned to Adam next. "Alright, Doc. Here's what I'm thinking: I'll start the show by setting the Boon up. Meanwhile, you can keep an eye on things. Once I've got her fired up and ready to rock, I'll switch with you. You know more of the electrical side than me, so you might be able to get her hooked to the main power supply faster than I can. I don't think I'll have the time to learn on the fly." Garet then took his glasses off and wiped them clean. It'd be the last chance for him to do so before they left the dome and it would be too dangerous for him to remove his helm. Garet boarded Kyle when he was prompted too, and found a spot that looked cozy enough to hold until they go to the Empire State Building.
