Alright so this is a simple interest thread to toss around some ideas before we go and clearly have a chosen path for the OOC. That is where the majority of planning will be done. So to toss around some ideas of what you want let's first decide how we want to play. So do you want to play as a God, demigod, or human?

Also if we're Gods do you want to have sects that we're in charge of? Like we each have a tribe in which we gain our powers. So we would write about them to an extent. I'll explain at break...

Sounds good to me, I like the tribe idea like they are the people we gain our powers from. I wouldn't mind doing like one of each of the character's though. Like I have a god, demi god, and a human.

Conflict: So there are several tribes (think vikings not native americans) that live in this barren land of ice and bog. Recently a Roman like force is invading from the west coast. A Russian like force is to the East-northlands and some tribes still worship old, primal gods.

Further Explanation:

Primal Gods- are like demons, the people that worship them would behave like necromancers (skyrim they summon the dead)

Roman like people- They have their own set of gods and as more of them come to our land their Gods grow in power. The (roman) army is not used to the extreme cold and have not made it far into the land.

"Russians"- Their army is large but unskilled. They are a large threat but an old one. The tribes are used to them. Also they have no God they all follow.

Name: Volkor

role: God of the storm and the hunt. Meaning when he shows up, shit's going down. Like a blizzard and him hunting your ass down.

appearance: (hard to find pictures) Tall and large. He stands 5'10" and has a bulky build. His stomach may stick out but his arms would pop your neck like a grape. His beard reaches down to his lower chest and his hair is equal in length. He has brown hair and a scar across his left eye that runs all the way down the side of his cheek.

goal: He is the overseer of the Kylak lands. (I say overseer and not protector because he wants them to thrive and does what he can to help but he can not directly come in contact with them. Examples of such would be summoning blizzards on invading forces or chasing a herd of elk to a near by hunting lodge.)

home: The Kylak Woods. The Kyrk people are for the most part sheltered by thick forest in which they make their living. They cut down and grow forest in order to build ships for other clans in which to raid with. The Kyrk are rather self sufficient in that they hunt to the north and fish to the south but farming is nearly impossible in the extreme cold that they live in. They are not military based but they can hold their ground against the Skoti (took that word from the norse word andskoti, meaning enemy. The Skoti will be the equivalent of Russians)

weapons: Throwing spears, rope, and a wooden shield.

equipment or possessions: A Vlork skull (an extent species I made up. Would be similar to a dragon) he keeps this in his home to remind himself of what proud hunters his people are. They managed to take down this beast before it wiped out the tribe hundreds of years earlier.

role:God of ice (can't control water at all just things that are frozen)

appearance:He is 6 feet tall, black beard with charcoal eyes, he has kind of a skinny body but still very muscular. He has 3 scars running across his face diagonally, he has scars all over his body from all the battles his has been in but they are covered up in his armor.

goal:To protect his tribe the Kaldara, they are a proud people and always send him their prayer's. Without them he would have died along time ago so he feels like he owes them and protects them at all cost's.

home: God's Place

weapons: A battle axe and a shield with a spike on it.

equipment or posesions: armor, tent, fire starter kit (Like the flint and whatever the other one is), helmet, pelt's to sleep on.

I like it but as I was making mine I added stuff sort of. At least as far as gods/tribes go. Let's say there are four main tribes. Mine would be the most eastern one. Now do you think you would be able to make one up? I want this to be yours (and kitty if she joins) as much as my rp so feel free to make stuff up, I'll comment on what I'd like or not like
