Sophia froze when Rose leaned down and kissed her cheek. Her lips were soft, surprisingly warm yo the touch and her breath sent shivers down her spine. She'd been kissed on the cheek before, many times actually, but never had any kiss made her feel like this. Her face flushed, sending a wave of heat down through her body. When the captain finally pulled back from the gentle, innocent kiss Sophia looked stunned, but managed to pull a smile across her lips. "I'll be sure to come to you if I have any problems" she tells her, bunching her shoulders up shyly and locking her hands together in front of her. She watched the captain for a long moment before realising that she was staring and quickly averting her gaze. She walked past Rose to head back up to the deck, fiddling with her compass now and eyeing the floor in thought.
