Ragnarock was on a covenant carrier he was prepping a squad for 'artifact retrieval'. He grabbed his energy sword, concussion rifle, and plasma rifle. "Get to the phantom when ready I will brief you then." Ragnarock said.

"Get your asses to that gate! Don't let a single UNSC troop get through here!"
The rebel leader yelled out into his mic, ordering his troops to defend the gates from a UNSC attack that was currently happening. The rebel fort was a major source for resources and weaponry, allowing the rebel forces to bring the fight to the UNSC. However, there was one thing that the UNSC had that the rebels did not...Spartans. The new Spartan V program allowed Spartans to become tougher, faster, and stronger than their older counterparts. With the battle raging on, the UNSC calls fourth the Spartans to eliminate all personal inside of the fort and take any survivors that they can.
Alex was in his usual rebel battle-gear, holding his DMR close to his chest as he prepared for another wave of Marines to assault the fort. He was hiding behind one of the ruined walls outside of the fort with many other rebel soldiers just like it, exchanging fire with the Marines. "Don't let em' through!" He yelled, leaning out of cover and firing his gun, only to be shot in the shoulder. He fell back into cover, dropping his DMR and holding his wound as he cried out.

Mulgrew flew the loaded Pelican with a confident hand, moving them into the warzone and dodging AA fire without jostling the troops too much. "Ungrateful bastards," he said to Davidson, his co pilot. "We finish a war for survival, and they go right back to rebelling. Go figure."
Davidson shrugged. "What can you expect from these Outer Colony types. No offense."
"None taken." Mulgrew fired off the rocket pods mounted under the wings at a SAM site, the compound coming into view in the distance. Mulgrew turned on the intercom. "Alright ladies and gentlemen, we're nearing the LZ, and we're going in hot." Altering course, he opened the back hatch as they settled to the open ground, miniguns shooting as marines rushed out to get into the fight. Once they were offloaded, he took off again, dropping down vehicles before resuming fire support. Ah yeah, this was why he loved flying.

Yun sat in a dark room, with only the hologram of a man in front of him to accompany him. The man seemed to be wearing the armor of the UNSC, but it had a dark, twisted look to it. The man's face was shrouded in a clothed mask which only revealed his eyes.
"Yes, yes. Once the Spartans are eliminated, nothing stands between us and--" Yun was interrupted by the other council members, which caused him to make the hologram disappear as he turned to face the lesser prophets.
"The council wishes to speak with you." One of them said as Yun moved on his Gravity throne towards the Council room. There, all the lesser prophets sat in a circle facing the Hierarch, which happened to be Yun himself. His honor guards positioned themselves next to Yun as the council stood up, each of them saying a prayer. Yun instead just sat there, watching, and waiting.

Alex got up, tearing the bullet out of his shoulder as he cried out in pain. He noticed that the other rebels were starting to retreat from the battle. Some barely managed to get away, while others were either taken into custody or were shot in the back while fleeing. Alex breathed out and shifted out of cover, shooting his DMR with his uninjured arm and cried out a fierce tone that encouraged some of the other rebels to continue the fighting. In fact, the rebels were so encouraged that it almost looked like the Marines were beginning to get slaughtered in that particular area. "Don't give up!"

An elite honor gaurd whispered to Yun. "Ragnarock and his squad are ready to deploy on your command."
John stood in his armor behind a wall watching the rebels fight. He gathered his scattered mind and readied his Railgun for the first shot in a week; he had taken his first break from the UNSC for a few days and the other days were just scout missions. Now all of the sudden he's attacking rebels; and powerful one at that. He started charging his Railgun and departed from the wall for the shot.
Utek had just departed in a Phantom as the second squad for the artifact. She sat there silent; she never talked very much and when she did she used a voice distorter so no one would treat her like a 'lovely lady'. She didn't know any of the squad she was assigned to, and she'd rather keep it that way.
James was in his drop pod, heading towards the surface of the planet, specifically towards a spot 40 feet outside the rebels' gate.
Before he knew what was going on, Alex had several guns to his face as he noticed the other rebels being captured and slaughtered as well. He knew that he would die here, right there and no-...they were prosecuting him? He was so confused with what was currently happening that he didn't know what to do next. Were they just going to execute him or keep him prisoner for questions...who knew. All he knew was that it was over. The UNSC won the battle for the fort, but the war against the rebels wasn't finished either. The rebels leader had just escaped a few minutes prior to Alex's gun wound.

Jericho arrived in a Pelican after the battle had been nearly finished. He adjusted the rocket launcher on his back as he approached the gate to the rebel fort they had just besieged."Where are we keeping the prisoners?" He asked a marine giving out orders."Over there." The marine motioned to a line of rebels with a few soldiers around them, obviously on guard."Good work, let's get 'em loaded up into the Pelicans and start shipping them back to base." Jericho stepped towards the newly found rebel prisoners, shoving his gun in one of their faces, who happened to be Alex."Get up. It's time to move, all of you!" He ordered.
"Doesn't matter what the press says. Doesn't matter what the politicians or the mobs say. Doesn't matter if the whole country decides that something wrong is something right. This nation was founded on one principle above all else: the requirement that we stand up for what we believe, no matter the odds or the consequences. When the mob and the press and the whole world tell you to move, your job is to plant yourself like a tree beside the river of truth, and tell the whole world — 'No, you move.' "
