After the death of the Dark Lord Voldemort at the hands of Harry Potter, the Order of the Phoenix Dumbledore's Army set about restoring the Wizarding World to its former state. It took many years and hard work, but eventually they succeeded. Kingsley Shacklebolt was named the Minister for Magic not long after the War of Hogwarts. Ron Weasley and Harry Potter went on to become Aurors in the Ministry. After years of service, Harry was named Head Auror. The Wizarding World and Muggle World alike experienced a time of peace, believing they had truly squashed evil. And, why not? Voldemort was dead, and his Death Eaters were either dead or locked up in Azkaban. That's what they thought at least. A new Dark Lord soon rose to power, learning from the Dark Wizards of the past's mistakes. He fed off Grindelwald's and Voldemort's examples. He rose to power in secret, gathering followers much like Voldemort did, but without all the disappearances and warning signs. Then, he launched his plan. He took the Ministry by storm, quickly assassinating Kingsley Shacklebolt and taking control. His forces, which he dubbed the Knights of Walpurgis, killed most of the Ministry's force in the battle to the Minister and in the pursuing battle as the Ministry's forces fled.

For the next few years, the Dark Force ruled as the former Aurors and most of the Ministry workers hid and attempted to fight back. Soon, the new Dark Lord sought out Harry Potter and Ron Weasley and murdered them. With two of their best warriors gone, the forces of good were forced back into hiding. Ten more years passed, and the world became a desolate place indeed. Not only did the Dark Lord sink his claws and fangs into the Wizarding World, but he set his gaze upon the Muggle World. So within the ten year period when the forces of good were in hiding, the Dark Lord Brought his iron fist down upon the Muggle World and took over, revealing the Wizarding World at last and causing all currency to become that of the Wizarding World. Not only did the currency change, but even the laws changed. Only pureblood Wizarding children still attended Hogwarts School for Witchcraft and Wizardry, but were taught in the Dark arts instead and were encouraged to bully and oppress Muggles.

Our story opens up on the world as the new Order of The Phoenix rises from the ashes of its defeat and begins to fight back against the Dark Force ruling over the land.

I went ahead and put the character sheet up, so you can go ahead and begin making characters, but I'd like to hammer out fine details before we actually start, so please ask and questions and feel free to make any suggestions. Oscar has light skin and short, spike brown hair. He has light blue eyes and a slight layer of stubble on his face. He is around 6'1 and is of an athletic build.
Bio:
Oscar's father was a half-blood, and his mother a pure-blood Squib. He learnt of magic from a young age, experiencing it's wonders ever since he could remember. His father was most skilled at transfiguration, which drove Oscar to find interest in it.
His upbringing was relatively peaceful, as he lived far from the hustle and bustle of cities, alone in a large house with only his parents and younger brother to keep him company.
When he did venture to Hogwarts, he found himself a fine wizard. He excelled in the subjects of Defence Against the Dark Arts and Transfiguration, and both would prove very important in the future. He was very bright, but was often caught making trouble with his friends, building him a negative reputation among teachers.
In his later years, he began to learn the ways of the Animagi. He eventually had the ability to turn in to a raven, which was a great ability to use as an escape tool.
When he left, he began to notice the new threat. When the new Dark Lord began to assassinate Aurors, he knew it was time to take action, sou he sought out others who thought the same way.

Logan, like any other witch or wizard, started out at Hogwarts when he was 11 years old. The sorting hat put him in the Ravenclaw house due to his high intelligence. Not only that, he is very witty and clever. Logan is a muggle-born wizard and was under constant scrutiny by some of the Slytherins at the school. To take his mind off of the bullying, he devoted all of his time to studying and making perfect grades. He was one of the smartest kids in his year and was basically a walking encyclopedia of knowledge. Every class had that one Know-It-All and it was Logan. During his last two years of school, he studied the Quidditch team and wanted to see what it was like to play. It would also prove to the other kids that he wasn't just a book worm. He tried out and became the Keeper (The one who defends the hoops) of his team for the remaining two years. Logan received recognition from this and the constant harassment ended. After he graduated from Hogwarts, he went on to become a hardcore Journalist for the Daily Prophet, outmatching the notorious Rita Skeeter. When the war broke out, the Daily Prophet was abandoned and he's been hiding trying to stay alive due to the fact he's a "mudblood."

Familiar: Voltirus is a male Hawk Owl. A vain creature often seen preening himself, Voltirus has a stern look and temperamental personality with anyone other than his master.

Bio: Born to the purebred family of Sullivans residing in Wiltshire, Rodger was raised with a proud heritage and firm wizarding line. Once close friends of the Malfoy family, the Sullivans severed ties with their neighbors a generation before Rodger due to their great blunders and shameful service to the once great Lord Voldemort. Rodger spent five years at Hogwarts, dismally struggling through his classes. He despised Defense Against the Dark Arts, seeing no reason why students would ever have to apply such nonsense in real life. Transfiguration held no draw, though Rodger could turn teacups into rats and barstools into flamingos with his eyes closed and his wand arm tied behind his back. Herbology was utter foolishness, but potions – oh potions were quite exciting indeed. Nothing they did in Potions class was ever interesting, but upon making a perfect Polyjuice potion in the beginning of his second year, the Potionsmaster had given Rodger a little extra reading, expecting him to be the next great Potioneer this time had ever seen. In this text, Rodger soon discovered Bloodroot, Death-Cap, Drink of Despair, and many others. He concocted these in secret while he was at Hogwarts, saving the results in small vials. When he went home for the summer, Rodger would travel to nearby muggle villages, and sneak the potions in the drinks of the unsuspecting vermin. It satisfied him for a while, but he knew he could do much more with his talents. In his fifth year the greatest Dark Lord of all time – greater than Voldemort ever would have been made himself known to the world. A purebred, of course, Rodger was let into Hogwarts once more, but this time everything had changed. Students now learned Dark Arts, not how to defend against them. Rodger eagerly learned these dark spells, enchantments, and found he now excelled at his studies. And now he was allowed to truly expand his talent in potions. He experimented constantly. Rodger discovered how to modify Wolfsbane – turning a warewolf into its beastly form prematurely, the duration of time spend that way lengthened instead. He experimented with Skele-Grow and Essence of Dittany until instead of healing, these potions slowly and painfully made the patient worse. By the time he left Hogwarts, Rodger had the knowledge to make any given potion as foul as it could possibly be. Leaving with a N.E.W.T in Dark Arts and Potions, Rodger traveled from place to place practicing curses, handing out potions. Always to muggles and mudbloods, always in the name of the new and greatest Dark Lord.

Smiggen is a red tail hawk female who is very protective of her mistress and can usually be found waiting on some high point if her mistress is indoors or circling overhead when Melody is outdoors watching around her for danger

Bio : Melody was born into an old and proud pure blood house in county Cork Erin an only child.
Her mother was the local potions maker her father an Artificer of rare talent
Her's was a happy childhood. She attended school at Hogwarts during the time of peace and in the summer worked in her father's shop learning the family trade.
Hawksdown while known by the local wizarding population was a glenn hidden by magic laid down over 500 years ago by Fyn Hawkmoon her great, great, great great grandfather. His skill at art was renowned far an wide on the Emerald Isle as was that of his desendents.
Custom Wards, Brooms, Pots, Kettles, Cauldrons and other wondrous things were made in Hawksdown.
It was little wonder that like all before her Melody was sorted into Ravensclaw where she shone like a star in her classes but often seemed lost when it came to friendships
An animagus who like he father is a Hawk Melody was alone by choice and never suffered the loss as some would. Her aloof attitude was the one reason that when the other Pures sought her out to join them in their disgusting hatred of muggles simply because they were born.
She was Prefect of Ravensclaw when she graduated and went into the family business and now uses her home with her Da's approval as a secret school for those magicly gifted of half or muggle blood
