Shane chuckled a little at brent for that insinuation "Oh come on now, I'm not dumb enough to do that, this kinda thing would be a death sentence If I went bragging about it openly." He grinned a little and then returned to his computer, quickly making sure the footage had recorded properly before closing it into sleep mode and stuff if back in his pack, and reached in slipping his 'shiny' into a pocket in his jacket before heading over to the Meteorite and grasping onto it. Of course, it wasn't all that big, if it only contained a small handful of those Egg lookin things, then it shouldn't be too hard to pick up, though it took a little awkward shifting to get a proper grip on it, he was soon out of the hole with a giddy giggle coming from him.

"As for being dangerous, I can at least tell you their not 'Zerg Eggs', those are all slimey and fleshy, though it would be adorable to have pet Zerglings, hahah." After a little trudging he hopped up next to Ash with a big grin "And that's no problem, It's not too far actually, And at this time of night, there shouldn't really be anybody to worry about seeing us." It was probably odd, but amoment later a little reptilian chirp seemed to come from within his jacket, but he soon turned to follow after Brent on the way to his house.

Harley had been lost in looking at her egg. Something about it just called to her. The girl held it close to her body as the group headed in the direction of Shane's little place. A smirk broke out on her face when she heard the chirp from Shane's jacket. That had to be his lizard. She had seen it before but it had been a long time. "I think we should all be safe so long as we don't spill about anything." As they walked, she could have sworn she heard something following them. Harley kept her mouth shut though because knowing her luck she would look behind her and something scary would be there. She was once more looking at her egg when she heard the noise again. This time Harley turned around to see her chihuahua, Sonic, following after the group with his tail wagging happily. "Sonic! How in the world did you get out?!" The dog whimpered loudly as it ran up to her. He scratched at her leg and she reached down to pick him up.

Looking at the group, she shrugged her shoulders and spoke. "Sorry guys. It seems like Sonic has tracked us down and wants to join us. You don't mind him in your house do you Shane?" She wanted to make sure. If not, she would have to take the pup home and rejoin the others. It wasn't like her father would care. He was probably asleep or watching TV anyway. Sonic was sniffing the egg as Harley carried them both. He seemed really intrigued by the crystal. Harley looked down at the dog and the crystal. She wondered if it really was an egg and if it was, what could be inside of it?

The group had more of less caught up with Brent. He looked back, content to see everyone was there and accounted for. Suddenly he heard Harley scream, "Sonic! How in the world did you get out?!" He nearly jumped out of his skin. He turned around quickly to see her reaching down and petting a small form in the grass. Right. Sonic was her dog. He had forgotten. "Jesus, Harley," he said with a laugh, turning back around and walking again. "Don't scare me like that. Not okay." He turned his head down toward his egg and got lost in it again. It glinted in the dim light of the night, just like it had on the surface of the meteorite. The faintest warmth seemed to emit from it and fill his fingers, giving them a weird, tingly feeling.

"Does anyone else notice something off about these stones?" he blurted out, while still walking. He ducked under some branches and carefully hopped some fallen logs with just his feet. He didn't want to stop. He was too afraid; not after Harley scared him half to death. The trees around the group were beginning to clear as they approached the end, getting closer to Shane's house, and to protection.

With a slight huff, Ashter did her best to keep up without falling flat on her face. All this craziness of avoiding lights and sneaking about seemed unusual, but it seemed necessary. Her shoes were covered with dew from the grass, which was cooling with the evening air, and she hoped nobody in authority would notice the dew that coated her feet. The girl did her best to avoid anything that she thought was a tripping hazard, and after a few moments she finally caught up to Shane and Harley.

Next thing she knew, a dog popped out of nowhere. It was a somewhat cute dog, but Ashter never really had pets growing up, so she wasn't sure how to react to it. With a little more than a shrug of her shoulders, she continued walking with the group and she noticed a house in the distance. Her concentration was broken when Brent loudly blurted out his question, and as she walked, her brows furrowed in thought. Her stone was strange, black in color but as warm as resting near fire on a cold night. Albeit that was strange enough, but it made her feel calm in a sense.

"We can investigate them once we get back to the house, if we have the time. If anything we can plan our next action at Shane's house"
