The strumming of a guitar echoed through the auditorium. And a bass, but Goroshi was alone. So how was it possible that that both a guitar and a bass were being played? Double-Necked Guitar is what. But that's not important; Goroshi didn't have any class this hour, and he was meeting someone. Someone... He holds rather close to him. Or so he thinks. Honestly, he wasn't sure if this was just another fling or something that will build up to something serious. Sure, he's just 18, he shouldn't be thinking that every relationship will end in matrimony, but he had his dreams too. Either way, he played quietly in the dimly lit great hall, the sounds of his picking echoing in and out of the room and through the school.
Well, no one was going to miss one dead hobo. It was just another morning for Shini; wake up, use the bathroom, dress, eat, go to school. But while she was going to meet up with her friends, a homeless wanderer approached. Well, it's more like he was walking towards her, he probably didn't want to be seen bothering with a high school girl (The implications would be rather unfortunate for him, you see), but she decided to take the initiative. By stabbing him with her switch blade. Repeatedly. It was still early enough that no one would be awake to see, and he had the unfortunate timing to be next to an alley way dumpster. After satisfying her blood-lust, Shini looted the body. A few flick knives, some canned foods, a knapsack, a hatchet, and a bunch of other interesting but hefty stuff. Oh well. And she got her hand dirty too. So she took the hobo's water bottle and washed the blood off her hands, then took a drink. Today was a good day. And then she got to school.
Shini was with her group of friends. There was Tsukuyomi, an equally psychotic girl with a thing for knives, though unlike Shini she doesn't hide her interest. Shini doesn't particularly like her despite the similarities, since she feels that Tsukuyomi is bringing a bad name to people with an interest with weapons. Then there was Alice, a Prussian girl with a knack for cooking. She and Shini get along well, but Alice is just kind of stringed along by their other friend, Koga. A tomboyish girl, she's in three athletic clubs and can somehow balance her time between the three. She has a sort of "love-or-hate" personality; she always see's everything as a competition and tries to one-up you, especially if she has the ability to do so. She's also more then happy to trash talk and mock her opponents. But if you can befriend her before she pisses you off, she's a rather loyal friend, though one that thinks money can buy friendship. Well, she partially right about that. And the final member of their Five-Girl Band was Shizuka, your typical quiet bookish girl. Her most noticeable quirk his her tendency to hide behind her hoodie mask. It was one of those hoodies that you could zip up in front of the face, and hers made the face of some sort fo skull. She's weird, but also harmless. Or so everyone thinks. Anyways, they began walking to class, a bit late as usual. Most of the teachers excuse them simply because they come in bulk and since Tsukuyomi lives a couple miles away from school and has to walk, but they still get reprimanded from time to time. When they entered the class room, they each went to their respective desks: Koga sat in the center of the desk Tsukuyomi sat close to the back door, Alice sat next to Shizuka on the front row, and Shini just sat where ever she damn please that day. In truth, she just never bothered to be like Koga or Tsukuyomi and make everyone know where she sits at. So she decided to sit a row away from the windows, next to a new girl. Taking her seat, Shini looked at this girl and wondered; who was she, and why did she come to school now? So she decided to sleuth.
"Hey. The name's Shini. You're new here, aren't you?"
