Okay boys and girls.

I had this idea for a game a long time ago and on another website, I was able to turn it into a 1x1 based roleplay. Anyway, let me write this out and quit rambling.


The year is 3276 on an Alternate Universe Earth. Long ago, magic was common in the world. Many great leaders used it for the good of the people but there were some who sought to use it for evil. Many great wars took place, ravaging the planet and its people, until magic was finally banned from use by High King Orin. That was in 1014. Over two thousand years later, technology has overrun the planet. Great cities stand tall and almost all wilderness has been eradicated. The world is run by one man, The Sire. The Sire has given birth to a new age with a group of highly developed soldiers that the rest of the humans call Techs. They are embedded with all means if technology to improve themselves. Things like cybernetic implants were common place these days anyway. The Sire has recently heard rumors of a group of humans claiming to be mages. If there is one thing The Sire fears, its the return of magic. He sends out three of his best Techs to wipe out the so-called mages.


Now this is where I've sort of hit a point where I wanted to start things. I'm looking for 5 other people besides myself. I'd like to have an even number of females to males but there can always be more of one gender than the other.

Most of the people on the planet are humans. However, I'd be willing to let a few people be aliens or something of that nature. Just no werewolves/were-creatures or vampires. Nothing like that. The world was once full of magic so Fae creatures would be alright. They could still survive in what little wilderness is left.

So...anyone? Maybe?

Hmmm. Maybe I need to broaden out the backstory a bit. I'll get to work on that.

Are the PCs the mages or the mage-hunters? I'd rather be a mage but I wouldn't mind be the techie mage-hunter.

The PCs are going to be both. I need 2 more mage-hunters (because I'm taking one) and 3 mages. I may add in some side characters that people can play as well.
