The Black World: Eternal Darkness

The world has been flung into darkness, an event causing the opening of gates between the Earthly Plain, the heavenly plain, and the Black World, where the dead go for processing. Within this Black World, live the creatures of lore and mythology. The dead are given many choices, and some opt to become a mythological creature. Now, all of the Mythological Creatures have noticed that once they go through the portal to the Earthly Plane, they go from a person dressed as that creature, to that creature. While many prefer to stay within the Black World, some prefer to visit their old world again, despite losing some memories of their previous lives.
Years have passed, and a powerful Vampire has taken over the Earth’s Plane. He has gained enough power, that he has put a permanent cloud of darkness to cover the planet, and can survive the regular things which would normally send him back to the Black World, such as Crosses, Sunlight, Garlic, and other vampire hunting tools. He has made the Earth a Creature’s paradise, and the very small amounts of resistance come from large cities of humans living, and the other Creatures that want the world to be as normal as it can be.
Within the Black World, a power struggle has begun, which may cause the end of the way things run, but who knows what is truly happening. How do you live in these worlds? What will you do when the world begins tumbling down? Will humans be able to trust in religion if their god will not interfere?

Age: Vesania is not sure how long it has been in the material plane, just that it has seen plenty of civilizations fall
Gender: Vesania's current body lacks any defining gender features
Appearance: Vesania's body is made of a particularly durable form of plastic, leading Vesania to believe its current body is made to be able to take punishment. Vesania's body has only the vague shapings of a face, other than a puppet-like mouth that is incapable of expression, but Vesania has found time to paint in blue eyes with white irises. Vesania is not a very good artist, though, so most people find Vesania's work...unsettling. Vesania's body stands five and a half feet tall, and weighs around five hundred pounds.
Weapons: Vesania has multiple tools of injury within it. Vesania has a saw blade attached to a metal arm within its stomach, which can pop out at will. Vesania also has drills within its palms, capable of popping out at will as well. Vesania's limbs are reinforced with metal, and so they also make admirable tools of injury.
Powers: Vesania has the ability to obscure information pertaining to Vesania. Vesania also is capable of powerful illusions, but only while someone is looking directly at Vesania. Vesania has the ability to prevent someone from looking away from Vesania. Vesania is also capable of causing permanent damage to the mind and soul of an individual while they are being effected by Vesania's illusions. Vesania is also capable of using an odd form of energy, the source of which is known only to Vesania. Suffice to say this energy is amorphous, and if it enters a person's body it will quickly deteriorate their mind and body.
Short History: Vesania has not done much. Vesania survived the ages between the dawn of human civilization and modern times without too much trouble. Vesania has seen the rise and fall of many dictators and leaders and good people and bad people. Vesania has seen the general upward direction of human kind and has had his heart warmed by it. Vesania has always been extremely peaceful.

Vesania has not always been able to maintain peace. Sometimes individuals try too hard to pry. They ask questions. Though Vesania does not demand a complete lack of curiosity, it only gives one warning for questions.

Vesania has witnessed the fall of many civilizations. Perhaps it will just witness this one's fall as well.

Appearance: On the short side, only a few inches above 5 ft, medium length dark brown hair that frames her face, dark brown eyes and usually wears loose, comfy clothes. when tapping into her Angel side, her hair grows longer her eyes become light brown and she sprouts her wings.
Weapons: naginata
Powers: knows a few fire/elemental spells. when in her Angel form, usually deals with light spells.
Short History: once was a full fledged Angel, yet she wanted to return to her old world. She took control of a nearby dying girl and, once restoring the body to full health again, she returned to the earth plane. but, once returning she lost her memory. When she came to again, she found herself in one of the cities.

Short History:
Leigh grew up just like everything else. Nothing was out of the ordinary for her. Her dad left them when she was very young, so she lived with her mother and older brother. Always a cryer for attention, Leigh is a very wicked child, and has always been. She loved to cause trouble, even if it meant getting yelled at or getting grounded. When Leigh was sixteen, she made the huge mistake of getting drunk and doing some things with some students at her class. Someone happened to film it, post it on the internet. Leigh couldn't walk outside without someone recognizing her for it. When her family found out, things just became worse. Distraught, Leigh threw herself in front of a train.

When she woke up in the Black World, Leigh was still in shock. She didn't believe the fact that she had killed herself. Refusing to believe what happened to her, she chose to go back to the Earthly Plain. Now she wreaks small amounts of havoc in the city.
