"You weren't even scared when it suddenly appeared? Not one bit?" she asked Leon. "Where I come from, anything that is that huge and looks that dangerous is dangerous." She shrugged. "You must be pretty brave if you've never been terrified. Tcha! I'm such a coward! I still can't believe I'm here though...I mean, like you, I just can't get all these things around my head!"

Leon shrugged as she asked, "I Don't know back home there were planes those were big and they weren't dangerous...well not completely... But to answer your question when she came through i mostly just played off how the teachers reacted, they didn't seem frightened or scared or trying to defend us so I thought it was nothing." Leon said growing silent as she spoke of never being terrified, in honesty that was his childhood being almost nothing but terrified... Leon cleared his thought before speaking again. "You're not a coward. It's normal to be afraid. Its part of what makes us human. Maybe sometimes being afraid isn't such a bad thing its just a test to face our fears and get stronger. And to be honest i'm just hoping i dont wake up and find out this was all a dream." He said with a faint chukkle towards the end.


Kaladin


Kaladin nodded and was about to speak when Shade returned with the new student. He went to speak to him but a second the words left his house a second student appeared. Kaladin gave Shade a questioning look before speaking again. "Well you two welcome to the Dragon Academy. Please feel free to ask any questions iI will answer as many as I can." He said smiling warmly as he stepped forward.

"Oh, I'm still very much afraid of everything. This is nothing that I know of...but at the same time, it's also so much fun discovering things I have never known before." Lianne smiled at him. "It's overcoming our fears that's important, right? And right now, I still have a lot of work to do if our teacher's a...a ghost. I really can't do what you do...play off other people's reactions. We had always been isolated from the world. I really don't know much people aside from my family and the people we sell to at the village."

Mat nodded. "I don't have to go back right?" He asked. "I really don't want to and I really hope this isn't a dream either, although it feels like it isn't.". He also looked around the room. "Nice place by the way," he commented.

Kaladin

Kaladin smiled, "Go? Maybe one day if you wish. But for now you can study or you may leave. In no way are we forcing you to study here. But if you pick to study then you will not be able to leave until you graduate. Except for a few special cases." He said. He was curious as to why the student did not wish to returne but would not push at it...yet.

Leon

Leon smiled at her, "Well I would seem this school won't be out of new things for a while." He said wih a short laugh. "That is the way to look at it." He said happily. Leon thought for a minute as she spoke of playing off people's opinions, "it's something I have learned to do.." Leon sad quietly. He shook his head trying to push the thoughts out.

Mat smiled. "Great! So what next?" He asked. He walked around the room looking at everything. This was certainly better than his other life. Maybe something interesting now to happen. Everyone wanted him to sit down and and shut up. Now he felt he finally had his freedom.

[Rybesh]

Rybesh was somewhat amazed as what the apparent teacher had said finally sank in. "Alright. You say dragon, as in giant lizard with wings that can breath fire, right? Is this fire hotter than normal fire? If used on metal does it affect the structural integrity of the metal to the point where it is useless? I do blacksmithing, you see. Just made this, in fact." Rybesh gingerly pulled out his newly made damascus knife to show the teachers.
