Aspertia City, a city that has grown substantially over the last few years. Once a small town full of vibrant lively people , now it has grown into a city that has made a name for itself. The Pokémon gym has been open for business for five long and joyful years. The opening of the gym was the most exciting thing to happen to the city in a long while. To celebrate the Gym's fifth anniversary the Pokémon professor in charge of the region who's name is Professor Hemp has decided to put together a super special event for three very lucky beginning Pokémon trainers.
Everyone who registered into the Pokémon league with in the last two weeks was entered into a raffle, and has a chance to randomly be chosen for this huge event. The three trainers who receive a gold colored license will be the lucky souls who get to participate in the event.

The event will take place at the Aspertia gym one week from today (Game time not real time) at 12:00 noon. The three lucky ones who are chosen will come to the gym at the said time to pick up there starter Poke'Gear and license. This special gold colored license will not only grant you entry into the Unova league, but every league of every region. They will also be able to choose there first starter Pokémon, but unlike most trainers who begin you three will be able to choose from any starter from any region...yes you herd me correctly...I said any starter from any region. Professor Hemp has teamed up with all the Professors from all the different regions spanning from Kanto to Sinnoh and has obtained all three starters from all the regions. After three Pokémon are chosen the rest will be brought back to there homes far away. So there you have it, what Pokémon will these very lucky souls pick?
The media will no doubt be covering this huge Pokémon event, there will be an area open to the public for viewing the main event and the following Pokémon parade that is sure to delight everyone. Roxie who is also a gym leader and her all to famous band "The Koffing" will be taking the main stage away after the parade. Many booths will be set up all around selling yummy food, Poke' toys, Poke' Gear, and much more. So come on down and join the festive fun down at the fifth anniversary of the Aspertia gym!

As our three chosen trainers make it to Aspertia city from there home towns they notice the festive excitement that flows around. People of all shapes and sizes have come from all over Unova and even from other regions to see and be a part of the grand festivities. Kids with poke'hats on tug at there parents shirts as they point to toys, teenagers run around pulling pranks and causing silly mistive. Pokémon of all shapes also are seen roaming around with there masters in the city that has transformed into a living festival. Confetti flies as banners fly, all sporting the Poke'ball symbol.
Sooner or later the three new trainers make it to the Aspertia gym and get there license and Poke Gear.

*(The Poke'droid is the next step in the evolution of the Pokedex. The Poke'droid is a pokedex as well as a cell phone, internet browser, GPS, compass, flashlight (not that bright) and all around smart device.) HELPFUL TIP: Although the Poke'droid seems like and definitely is a very helpful tool to have along your journey try not to rely fully on it as it DOES run on a rechargeable battery that does not last for ever, and the reception might not be that great in some remote locations.

The three of you have been called fourth and all stand back stage waiting to be announced. The three of you watch the big TV in the corner of the room that is broadcasting the event live. Professor Hemp takes that stage and starts to speak. Wow!! thank you all so much for coming down this fine sun shining day to be apart of the Fifth anniversary celebration of the Aspertia gym, I am Professor Hemp the current Pokémon Professor of the Unova region. My teacher and the old Pokémon professor of the region Professor Juniper is here today and will make an appearance later in the program. As you all know the three who obtained the golden Pokémon license will be the stars of todays show. They will get to choose a starter from any region of there liking. They are also the proud new owners of the brand new just released Poke'droid. Now I am excited to tell everyone here today that on top of everything else the three new trainers will be asked to partake in a grand quest that will not only be a test of there Pokémon skills but a test of there stamina and will to go on. They will be asked to journey to every region , exploring and adventuring as they go. Discovering all sorts of Pokémon and attempting to fill up the national Pokedex. The Poke'droid that came with there starter packs has an app that will allow the three trainers to upload pictures and add captions as they treck around the world.
Professor Hemp walks over to a computer that is set up on stage and linked up with the huge over head monitor. He pulls up on the large screen a list of all the starter Pokémon that will be available for the three beginning trainers.
Here are the starters from all the regions available today. Lets bring out the three trainers and let them choose there future companion. This is the main event.

The three trainers are sent out onto the stage and asked to introduce them selves. The five sets of starter Pokémon are set into three groups. Fire, Grass, Water. The audience falls silent as the three walk up to choose there starters. The excitement grows as the audience anticipates there decision.

Background History: Alex had always dreamed of becoming a Pokemon master but his mother never allowed it. He was always at home studying instead of out enjoying the world. He graduated with a perfect GPA and decided it was time to embark on a journey that was for his own self, and nobody else. The raffle came up and he couldn't resist. Knowing the odds he entered his name not expecting to win. But you all know how that goes.

His hair is a reddish brown color, medium length with the longest bangs being along the back of his neck.

Personality: Playful but quick to anger, loves Pokemon, naive.
Background History: Spent a lot of his time helping his father with the family's private tours on their ship, Isaac was never able to pursue his dream as a trainer. His parents didn't discourage him, but he had too many responsibilites at home. When the raffle came up and he entered, his parents were hopeful, wanting their son to do what he wanted. When he won they gladly sent him on his way, reassuring him they could keep the business running just fine while he went on his adventure.

He became very interested in Pokemon aged 13 when he became an assistant at the Pokemon centre, trainers regularly passed through and shared stories of their journeys, these stories eventually inspired him to set out on his own adventure.
