Before the known existence of the gods of light, the black mighty gods ruled the world and each ruled a different part of the said world, as well as their own plain in the demonic world. Massive cults were formed and each had thousands and thousands of followers but were soon shattered as the gods of light stopped the black gods and sealed them back in their own plains while at the same time making many believers follow the light. Only some cult members and fragments of evidence showed they did existed. Scrolls, testaments and even signs pointed to the return of the black mighty gods and those who stayed true to them would be rewarded.

A thousand years later the day came for the return of the black gods and the cults that worshipped them were now bigger than before the split back in the old days. Each temple had a statue of the god they worshipped, an altar, a symbol to represent the being and a book written by man but words of the gods themselves. On this day one would gain the power to bring those who betrayed them and exiled them down and take back what was once there’s. Right here in the temple of Valex a mass was taking place though all the other altars had the same thing going on as well. They all would get power but the born leader would get the biggest part of it.

The sound of the bell tower going off as the time approached so ever quickly, the worshippers chanting several different texts as well as praising the black goddess name. “The black mighty gods will have their day; they will reveal to us that more than 12 black gods exist. We will be rewarded in the ravel of the powers we receive from our goddess. We will strike fear to those who thought they could forget such a being and the glory of the old days will return to us” the chanters said. The moon was now high in the sky and the rift that was sealed was now open for all the gods so they could leave their plain of existence.

Valex entered the room that was hers and hers alone, the sound of bells soon ceased, the chanting stopped as they all bowed in front of her before getting on their hands and knees. “Oh goddess, it is good to see you return with the other gods and goddesses” said the priest of the temple. Varlex was a tall but average in weight, she had red hair which was tied up to make her look classy. Her eyes were red and she was wearing a red long cloth that covered her mostly but left enough for man to want her as it was her thing, gold buckles kept her clothes up. Her arms had markings on which represented her and also she had a clear complex other than those markings. Attract was all around her though many did not dare to try anything with her. She also had a necklace with a human heart on it and also had a small crown made from razor wire on her head which sat perfectly on her head.

Valex looked at all the people here and soon said “I see you gathered here for my return as well as the others. My faithful follows you will be blessed with my power for future use” and soon surrounded everyone in darkness so they could get these powers yet the chosen one did not receive these powers. Valex soon calls out for the chosen one to come to her, he or she was the most important part as she needed to power them up by making them a natural leader. As well as other give them a few other things. She needed to find out what they trained in, were they melee based, magic based or ranged based?

Reyes was walking thorugh the streets of New York as he yearned for something of intrest to happen to him. He turned down a corner into a dark alley on his way home when he suddenly heard a voice call out to him. He looked around only to find no one present sighing he continued on until he suddenly felt light headed the voice growing louder as he blacked out. When Reyes finally opened his eyes he found himself somewhere he did not know and in front of him a beautiful woman staring at him with a smile on her face. Reyes quickly pulled a .9mm from within his coat and pointed at the woman "Where am I? Who are you?" he asked getting to his feet his hand on the trigger ready to pull it should she make any sudden moves.

It was only moments later that the chosen one appeared in front of her, yet he was not conscious at this point. The cult members just watched the chosen lay there until he started to come round. What followed was suspected as none followers did not know anything about them, none follower chosen ones would have a weapon on them. Seeing the gun pointed at her made all the members in the room a little shocked as this was the first time had seen such a thing. Valex looked at him as he asked her questions and she replied “You are here in my temple, the temple of Valex, it is one of many. Who am I? Since you don’t know my name is Valex, I am a god and no normal god at that. I am one of the mighty black gods that roamed this land before being sealed by the gods of light.”

A pause happened before members started chanting once more. The room had a scent burning and it was something that would vary in smell from person to person. Valex soon said “I am the goddess of lust, desire and civil ship and you are my chosen one, one who is born to take my task and carry it out.” Another pause happened as the chanting could be heard again as she took a step closer to him, she did not fear mortals and their weapons. She would explain more after seeing if he had any other questions. She was very inviting but at the same time had sort of a bad vibe going on.

While she spoke Reyes did not take his eyes off the woman while she spoke. As a fortune of soldier he had seen many things across the world but this seemed far stretched even for him. It was only till then did his senses picked up the smell saturating the room and the others chant. For some reason as the supposed goddesses Valex approached he lowered his gun "What kind of task and what's in it for me?" He asked if Valex wanted his services she would compensate him deity or not.

When she saw him lower the gun she knew he was a smart fellow before hearing him ask a question. Valex soon said “What is it you want? Money, power, women?” Those were the things most mortals wanted though a few did not want any of the three mentioned. They either wanted nothing or something more than personal gain. Valex soon walked round him looking him over as she said “The task is no small one I can tell you that, but I think you can do it as you are the chosen one after all.” She was going to answer his other question in a moment as the chanting soon stopped making everything seem tense.

She stopped walking round before saying “The task will require you to take lives, wage war against those who banished us by sealing us away and giving me back what is mine. You will become either a one man army or you will become a powerful and wise general who will lead his men into battle in my name. But first I see you’re a man of guns and that tells me you are a ranged fighter, if so then I may have to give you something that can hurt the army of the light and the gods of light. It will require you to be a wielder of a sword/axe/spear with one hand and a gun in the other.” She needed him to name what he wanted, hopefully it was not a foolish request.

Reyes raised a eye as Valex circled him making the man smirk a bit. He was now interested when she offered him whatever he wanted interested in all three. But his interest peaked when she said his task would involve his only love war. " i can use a blade well enough. Your task sounds more than enough reward however I will gladly take everything you mentioned....but I am no fool how can I know you will not receive me?" He said as he moved closer to her smirking a bit feeling his own lust rise

When he asked her something else she replied “You don’t, but remember you are my chosen and as such you will be treated as one.” She then steps back before letting a blanket of shadows fall upon him which would grant him an unholy gun, blade and armour type of his choosing. He would also gain some powers that would aid him throughout his mission. The shadows soon disappeared to show his new look making her say “There we go you look much better now and I will also have to hand you these. This instrument is used to summon your army when needed; only the cult of this temple can hear the sound it produces.”

Valex then went “Also here is a little minion who will travel with you, he is very handy. He has kept me entertained for years, he can hold any object you want him to no matter how big or heavy and do more things that you will learn over time.” The minion was in his little bandit get up so he could blend in with the humans when out and about. She soon let him see his new look by letting him look himself over and wondered if he had any other questions.

The goddesses spoke the truth which impressed him a bit usually others would continue to state reasons why but she told him bluntly which gave him enough reason to try this chosen one role. Reyes did not move uncertain what would happen as the shadow covered his body closing his eyes he waited for it to vanish when Valex spoke he found himself encased in a futuristic plated metal suit. The suit consited of a black flexible suit that offered some protection from fire, with larger dark grey metal plates coverinng his body with silver stripes running across the chest and down the length of the arms and a helmet with a large black visor that ran across it giving it a intimidating look. Closing his eyes he felt different he knew his accurarcy increaced to the point he could shoot a fly without killing it. He was now stronger, faster, and possed far greater stamina than before, his minor wounds would heal faster. Looking down he saw his gun had changed into a demotic rifle and at his hip rested a sword with a blade that was as red as his new Goddesses hair and two beautiufl semi auto handguns.
He felt intimidating, powerful, and dangerous more than he ever have in his life. After she handed him the items, he usually prefer to work solo but if someone is going to offer help he wont turn it down. Looking into the mirror he looked intimadating the helmet staring back at him. He wondered how the heck he was supposed to remove this thing when needed, as if by command the suit's plates and undersuit actually retracted and vanished revealing him in his attire from before. "I have to say im impressed...M'lady" he said to Valex thinking this may not be so bad after all. "I am Jason Reyes at your service" he siad formally introducing himself.

Valex soon said “Now, go and do what you were born for. Make everyone remember my name and that the black mighty gods have come back. Make the gods of light pay as well and make them perish at the hands of my chosen. Take back what is mine, force and war at your fingertips will make any other mortal shake with fear. Taking on hordes of mortals and angels and making them all spill blood in the name of the one who sent you and for yourself as well as the other black gods.” She was very scary when she wanted to be and her speech was very evil sounding as her tone made sure all the mortals in the temple felt fear though at the same time made sure they knew they were safe.

“Now take my minion Grim with you and start what I have asked, use the powers you gained and more importantly succeed.” There was one power she did not tell him which he had, he had the power to make most women want him yet the strong women would resist his now natural power. She turns to the cult members and soon prepares them for war by giving each armour and weapons to use for when they were called by the chosen one.

Reyes nodded "Very Well" he said turning to leave while she gave her speech as the small green creature called Grim followed him. After leaving the room Valex summoned him in he looked down at the little green creature. "Alright...Grim?" he said seeing him nod to the name. "I have a few questions before we begin, first off where do we start and how do we even get back to my world?" he asked hoping he could pick up some more equipment from his home
