Third'ing the Crock Pot recommendation. Not knowing how to cook is no excuse, there are really easy crock pot recipes out there! The missus and I have been downing Crock Pot Potato Soup all week. It is *awesome*.

I'm 158 where I should be 150, if I'm shooting for, like, 15% body fat.
    How tall are you exactly?

If I get to 148 I'll have about 16% body fat which would be fab.

You don't necessarily have to know how to cook in order to use a crock pot. You can throw a whole chicken in there with a little paprika sprinkled on the top and let it go on low for about 6-8 hours and BAM! You have fall off the bone chicken that you can use to make yourself some chicken tacos for a week.

Or you can put in a beef chuck roast (I never brown mine really) with some salt, pepper, and whatever other spices that you want to use, a can of cream of mushroom soup, use that can to get some water and put it in there, chop up some potatoes, carrots, and onions, let it sit in there on low for about 8 hours, and you got yourself an awesome beef roast that falls apart that you can eat off of for a week.

The thing about the crock pot is that you just throw the ingredients in, cover it up, turn it on, and let it go for the rest of the day. Most of my awesome meals came from the crock pot, and with it cooking for a long time, it has more time for the flavors to mix and mature. The crock pot allows you to be a great cook without having to be a great cook.

-edit- One other thing about the crock pot: never open the lid. It will let the heat escape and it will take longer for it to cook, because it will have to build that heat up again. But the best part of it is that you can let it go all day. To make my life even easier with cooking, I'm starting to prepare my meals in advance, put them in the freezer, and the day before cooking it, defrost it in the fridge. In fact, your mom can help you do that too to where you only have to follow the directions on the bag for cooking (put in, set to low/high for x/y hours, enjoy).
