    The Future Wars: Operation Reclaim

    <==The Story So Far==>

During the year 1670 H.I, war broke out. The UNOE, having spread their lines too thin allowed opportunist to begin a revolt that was later known as the Irridanti Secessionist War. The war lasted for 129 years with the UNOE emerging victorious. However, victory came at a heavy price as countless of lives were lost and many of worlds were ravaged. Victory did not mean the transaction of peace and prosperity, as so many would believe. Victory instead brought hate, hardships and resentment to all.

Now a shadow of her former self, the UNOE has lost most of her territory and will never completely recover from this. As she licked her wounds, the UNOE in an attempt to prevent further outbreaks from occurring began the “Relocation Program” or in other words, a mass banishment for criminals, dissenters and political enemies. While extreme and barbaric, they saw that it was the only way they could preserve what’s left of her. This program however was done in secret for many centuries with absolutely no information being leaked until its ending.

Fast forward to the year 2053, Captain Edward Donny of the UNOES Merciful Angel and Avid Pilla along with a few others uploaded a virus that destroyed the co-ordinates of various worlds that participated in the Irridanti Secessionist War in an attempt to halt the “Relocation Program”. While they succeeded, they were mutinied on and they too exiled them before disappearing forever. Together they united the warring clans of the world Erolain and formed an uneasy but stable alliance. However, war once again broke out with Pilla on one side and Donny on the other. After a long and bloody civil war, Pilla came out as the victor which from there he united the broken nation into what would become the greatest threat to the UNOE; the Red Alliance. Their crusade for justice will not arrive until the year 2160 H.I on the contested world of Quinquirus. From there the UNOE-RA war began.

It has been 200 years since war broke out between these two nations. While brutal, neither side is willing to back down and death seems to be a more preferable option than defeat. However, the war seems to be nearing a conclusion with the results favouring the Red Alliance. The failure of the 2nd Urisal Campaign during the year 2359 H.I gave the Red Alliance the momentum it needed to push the attack. A year later, Mars fell and the Red Alliance is right at the doorstep of the UNOE’s beloved homeworld; Earth.

Desperate to continue her existence, the UNOE pooled whatever she could into her last and desperate final attack. Codenamed as Operation Reclaim, the UNOE hoped to find the magic bullet that could drive the Red Alliance back or perhaps even win the war. The Red Alliance however, saw the storm and braced for impact. Within the next few months, Operation Reclaim was fought on multiple fronts with each of them ending either in failure or a stalemate except one, the largest invasion force of the operation on the war torn planet of Mark IV.

    Vormund

    Vormund
is located on the eastern regions of the supercontinent of Shero-Kunn, approximately 70 km from the hemisphere of the planet. In an effort to beautify the city, two artificial rivers named Ma’Taw and Janov pass through the northern and southern sectors of the city respectively with numerous canals emerging from said rivers with a total of 616 bridges cross the city’s waterways. The highest point in the city is Ustro Hill at 427 metres. Vormund, like most cities of Mark IV features a boreal climate with long cold winters and short cool summers.

Vormund is one of largest cities in Mark IV and thus one of the most populous. The city spans a mean of 3,521 km² on the surface with an extensive tunnel network beneath the city and the nearby countryside consisting out of subways and sewer systems. The tallest building in Vormund is the “Kosai Broadcasting Tower” at 350 metres that sits in the Mazhan District of Vormund. Despite being a fairly power hungry city, Vormund is powered by two heavily guarded nuclear fission power plants located at the Grimmwald and the Pankow district.

Vormund is divided into twelve districts which are the Pankow District, Mazhan District, Spandau District, Novgrod District, Treskow-Vorkov District, Zhakarov District, Mai’Kai District, Vizhshan District, Grimmwald District, Geroi District, Azh’Mathan District and the Mitte District. Like other Red Alliance cities, the most common form of transport used apart from automobiles are high-speed magnetic levitated monorails that is run by the local metro, which is the Vormund Metro that extends its services to the surrounding towns. Vormund is also unique in commuting as the waterways and canals are also a common form for transport for the common Vormunian.

This planet was once a peaceful and beautiful planet, everyone was trusting and friendly. Then the RALG came along, not a day since we haven't heard of screaming or bomb report, the friendly atmosphere is now replaced by the looks of fear and doubt. Whoever was accused of siding with the UNOE, even if jokingly will disappear without a trace of ever being existed

    ~ Anonymous UNOE MAR Trooper

We walked into town virtually unopposed. For awhile, we joked about how the UNOE invaders just turn tail and ran on the first sight but we knew something was wrong. It was too quiet. As we continued our laughter soon turned to horror. Because what we saw; men, women, children with their eyes gouged out and throats torn all piled up in the town square, was nothing to laugh about. It wasn’t funny. It wasn’t funny at all…

PGLT-pilots, are they orbital, marine, or air-force?

Air Force generally. If you wish, you can call them by their nick of "Pallet".

I'd like to call 'em "Piglets", on account of their relatively small size (compared to a frigate) and extra-helphul nature.

    Oh dear.

@Armka: You're Co-GM Spy. Your characters will be more or less NPCs but you don't have killing privileges.

@Foster: Go ahead. I've never RPed in years so I wouldn't really mind a retcon to that.

Lovely, now we could use a change to the Pallets or Piglets.

Would I be able to create a Mercenary character? It seems interesting, but I'm not sure which side I want to take at the moment.
Everyone in America should watch this. NOW.

Warning, only for the light-hearted and good-humored:

@Levias: Mercs are somewhat fine. But don't expect anyone to give you much respect.

@DarkStar: You are more than welcome. But if you wish to be part of the RA, send me a PM of your intentions.

    P.S
    Mwuahahahaha!
