Lily's mother peered a window in the living room and grew a kind smile. " Lily David is at the door" Her mother yelled up to her room. " Oh thanks mom" Lily said almost running down the stairs. "So you and David sure do hang out a lot" Lily's mother commented. " Yeah so what" Lily awsered walking up to the door. "Oh nothing" Mrs. Hamlin replied coley. " Mom it's not like that between us" Lily rolled her eyes. Lily looked through the window by the door, and gave David a wave. She opened the door quickly with a smile. " hey David" Lily said. She leaned against her door the old wood feeling soft against her skin. Lily's hair blew back in the cool summer wind, and her skin gave off a strange sort of glow in the sun light.
Lily's father pushed open his door calmly a psychology book in his hands. He walked into the living room reading with quiet intent. He sat down next to his wife who was still sipping on her coffee, and staring at her daughter. " So David is here again" Mr. Hamlin noted. " is there a day where he isin't" Mrs. Hamlin joked. Lily's father let out a small laugh as he turned to look at the pair as well. " I wish they would just date and get it over with already" Her father noted. "you know as well as I that David will never ask out Lily. He's to afraid of you" Mrs. Hamlin coed. " With good reason"
" We can hear you ya know" Lily yelled over to her parents. Her cheeks grew red, and she scratched the back of her head. " Yeah so wanna get out of here or something" Lily asked.
