Aedin kept his distance from the crowd, but stayed within hearing and sight. He was uncomfortable in large groups and far preferred isolation to socialization. However as soon as Charles asked if they had any questions, two came to mind. "I have two." His voice was clear and direct. "First, what are the rules you have for our personal items, particularly weapons?" He touched the sword strapped over his shoulder. It was the only thing he had brought with him when he came. It was the only thing his mother left for him. "Second, what will be done about students that already have a head start with magical training?" His father, had started training him in magic use as soon as he showed the aptitude for it. Being well-rounded he was also trained in some sword fighting as well as some martial arts. Aedin had already figured what he wanted to focus in for magic, it would be something that would augment every skill he had and more.
