It's nice to see Homestuck's focus shifting back to characters who people actually care about. Fuck those alpah kids and beta trolls, no one gives microscopic fuck about those asswipes. I actually care more about the single-panel fantrolls than those shitstains. Now I can finally get back to the characters I became emotionally invested in, like John and Vriska, or Aradia and Sollux. Next to them, the alpha kids seem like the younger ones, instead of the older. All they ever do is complain about their relationships not working and then continue to do nothing.

Though the new characters aren't all bad. Calliope and Calliborn are interesting, and the whole cherub race as well. Though their connections to the driving force of the plot of the story probably makes me feel more invested in them than I otherwise would be. And Calliope can be a little annoying sometimes, especially when she shows her vulnerable, pathetic side that lacks a spine/exoskeleton/whatever the fuck cherubs have. "Oooh, I'll never be able to experience LOVE." Neither has any other member of your race. Do you see humans whining that they never can really feel kismesissitude? "No one would ever find me pretty." You've only ever met one other cherub, and he hates you unconditionally. What the fuck kind of standard do you have to compare yourself to? Anyway, at least this comic is almost over with because I'm seriously starting to develop some kind of a masochistic obsession with reading it and most of it.
