Remember, Jake has been in limited communication with Jane since the beginning of the comic, and he sent a letter attached to a package containing the robot bunny to John all the way back in Act 3 or 4, whenever he got the Warhammer of Zillyhoo.

You're probably gonna hate me for this, but there are these little things that point to Eridan being really important towards killing Lord English or something, and I just really want him to come back.


There's also this cool Croaks theory that involves the green sun.

I didn't specifically mention that I think Eridan is interesting because I wasn't making a list of characters I like, I was railing on the ones I don't. Specifically the Alpha kids and Beta tr- wait a second here. Which group of trolls was it we were first introduced to? The Alpha trolls are Karkat and company, and then the Beta trolls are Kankri and all those other asswipes, right? Or is it the other way around? I don't know, all I know is that is the character's name is Jake, Dirk, Jane, Roxy, Kankri, Kurloz, Latula, Mituna, Aranea, Meulin, Porrim, Meenah, Damara, Rufioh, Cronus, or Horrus, I either hate them or are uninterested in them. The comic was pretty bloated with characters even before their introduction, and frankly adding 16 more characters didn't help. I give Caliborn and Calliope a free pass here because technically speaking Calliborn is Lord English and Calliope used to be a part of him.
