Klaus snickered. "Why so hostile, Damon? I just wanted to chat." He said, giving Damon an innocent look. "I do need to be going now, though. So I'll catch you later." He said and stood up, taking Karah's hand in his. "Pleasure meeting you." He said before laying down a five dollar bill and leaving the Grill. He wanted to see Lauren, but it would have to wait until tomorrow. It was getting late, and he was getting rather restless.
When he got home, Klaus took a shower before laying down. He didn't necessary need sleep, but it was the only thing that made him still feel somewhat human. He closed his eyes, that was another thing he missed. Dreaming, Klaus hadn't dreamed since he was human. He was soon able to sleep.
The next time Klaus woke up, it was morning. The sun filtered in his room. He sat up and shook his head slightly, running a hand through it. He had fallen asleep nude so he threw on a pair of boxers before throwing on some dark jeans and a white snug fitting t-shirt. After putting on a black leather jacket, Klaus went downstairs and greeted his sister with a smirk. "Niklaus." She stated with a soft sigh. "Rebekah." He replied in the same monotone voice. "Where are you going?" She asked, watching as he was about to leave. "Out." Was all he said as Klaus got into his car and left, driving to Lauren's. They needed to get started today.

Karah saw that the two didn't really like each other, did anyone like Damon in this town? She smiled and said 'good-bye' as the blonde male left. "Is there anyone you get along with?" She asked him, laughing lightly. Karah finished her burger and checked the time. "I better get going, it's late. I had fun, though." She said as she stood up. Karah gave him a small kiss on the cheek. "I hope to do it again sometime." She said, her voice filled with hope. She waved bye as she left, getting in her car.
The whole drive home, she had the same smile on her face. She was really starting to like this guy, he was sweet to her and extremely handsome. When she got home, Karah changed into sleep shorts and a t-shirt before snuggling in bed. She fell asleep that night thinking of him. Damon Salvatore.
The next morning, she woke up, but stayed in bed. Karah yawned and blinked, adjusting to the bright light. After trying to wake up for several minutes she slung her legs over the bed and stood up, her bare feet hitting the cold wooden floor. She went into the kitchen and put her on some coffee, today she was devoted to finding a job. She was out of school, and in her own place. She couldn't live off her grandparent's inheritance forever.
[I hope you don't mind I skipped to the next day.]
