I think I'm gonna go with peter the people eater,being a man named peter who lost his mind after he lost his job and started taking drugs while watching peter the pumpken eater on tv then went on a rampage and started kill everybody stuffing their body's in a gaint pot he made that looks like a pumpken, cooks them up and then eats them, hence the name.
