Corrected & Connected (OOC) is seeking fresh faces to continue our sci-fi storyline!
In Character Thread
This roleplay has been going on for a long time and due to people vanishing and not communicating well enough, I need to bring on new members.
I will not be starting over, instead I will be continuing with Part Three, as Part Four will still start soon (hopefully with a new cast).
Most of the information can be best found in the OOC's first post, but should you want any suggestions or have any questions, I'm all ears. I'm eager to get this moving again. Ideally, I'd love people who can double but it's not a requirement. I just want active dedicated people for this.
The general plot can be found in the OOC, but to summarize as quickly and more concise:

> World peace has been established, poverty and hunger have been solved
> Life is wonderful except for online life, which now has a high risk of hackers stealing people's identities and literal lives
> Each branch of government has issued a band of Correctors secretly, to combat hackers online
> You'll play as Correctors from either JPN (Japan) or somewhere else.
Part One (page 1 - 7)
Our characters are in combat and find themselves up against their usual long time foe, Vypr who manages to escape. The characters all attempt to have a normal outing and are suddenly called in again to the DgtWld (Digital World) where Vypr kidnaps them and tells them how the JPN Gvn (Japanese Government) has impassioned her killed her other friends, as she was once a Corrector herself.
Part Two (page 7 - 9)
The group logs off and contacts a knowledgeable hacker named Nelwa. In the meantime, they head off to laser tag and there, they meet a male who ends up revealing himself as a worker for Nelwa who decides to test the group before she agrees to help dig up information on Vypr. As the test concludes, Nelwa has the group help another group of Hackers break from Gvn confinement.
Intermission (page 9 - 9)
Our roleplay moved to another thread where the Correctors and Hackers fought together against the Gvn, upon the end of the battle, many people had died.
Part Three (page 9 -11)
While the group tries to process what happened, they decide to take time off from school to go vacation since they had been fired from their jobs as Correctors. They head off to Aomori to have some R&R. They then hear that it will be possible for them to get their status back as Correctors, as well as it could be likely to save Vypr after all.
This is as simple as I can sum up events. They seem small but they're not. I'm looking for CORRECTORS only, should you prove yourself a dedicated roleplayer, you are more than free to take up an evil role later in Part Four. The genres outlined are: mystery, romance, drama, slice of life, sci-fi, fantasy, action and thriller. There is room for time travel, something I've been wanting to use for a while, the time travel will involve a future post-apoc land turning into a fantasy adventure. Of course I have my ideas but I will want to know what the new members feel like. For now, the general direction of newcomers will be people to help the ex-correctors get their job back and to help the trapped Vypr. Then we will return to the usual theme like in part one. If you want your character to be connected to mine or Rei's or FR's, that is fine by me. As GM, I can now control the unused characters, so if you'd like to be an old friend or someone from overseas, just drop me a line and we can talk it out. The past participants are of course welcome back but I need new faces right now, people who have time and energy to offer and who can respect everyone by communicating.

It's the year 2021, there is no more hunger or fighting. Peace is everywhere, everyone is happy and very obviously to the dangers lurking online in the Digital World (DgtWld). People are now hooked up to microchips (MChips) which link them to their music, their clothes, their computers, everything. Without the MChip, they would cease to exist. Society is clearly becoming overly dependent on technology and hackers are taking advantage of this. They can go online and send bugs and viruses to kill people and steal their prized information since it's stored in one simple place. To combat this issue, the Japanese Government (JPN Gvn) have hired a main group of Correctors in the Tokyo area. They are college students who keep their job to themselves. Recently, their leader: Sasha Uede, has been talking with a mysterious hacker named Nelwa. Nelwa is a famed hacker and considered the Corrector's enemy but Nelwa is actually Sasha from the year 2032 (ish) to help the current ex-Correctors get their lives back in order. There is an apocalyptic event coming and she hopes to stop it before the whole world is set back into a fantasy era with chaos everywhere.
While Nelwa begins to reinstate some of the fired Correctors, she is pulling in a few new people (from the future) and from smaller groups. She will ensure the JPN Gvn gives them their job back without any question. You will be playing people from overseas and from smaller parts of Japan's Corrector regions. It's probably easier to play a native who already knows Sasha or Devon or Sheela or Nicholas (the four established ex-Correctors). But it's up to you. You cannot play someone from the future as it's being brought in from my old RP which is C&C, set in the future, so for the sake of merging characters, it had to be done.
