▹ Personality & History: An only child of a very loving mother and father, Isabella was a very kind and considerate girl ever since she was a toddler. Sharing with all the neighbor kids, you would often find Isa running down the block with handfuls of sweets to share with all her friends and enemies alike. The unforeseen event of her mother's suicide set Isabella up for a very different lifestyle, at the young age of six. Trying to maintain, Isabella's father looked to find a new wife as soon as he recovered enough from his heartbreak to move on. The heartbreak lasted only a year, before his eyes were glued on Quinn.
Quinn appeared to him to be the perfect woman. Young, beautiful, and a knockout in the kitchen, he believed this would be the best choice to raise his pride and joy, Isabella. Four months later, they were to be married and everything seemed to be on its way to happily ever after. Alas, as the economy crashed around them Isa's father struggled to maintain a steady job and was often out of the house from morning to night. As you could guess, Quinn was not the perfect woman Isabella's father had imagined her to be. As soon as the coast was clear, Quinn would barricade Isabella in the living room closet often forgetting her for hours without food or water. When Quinn was in a good mood, she would kick apple slices under the door and open the door a crack so there was a beam of light in the dark hell. Finding the story of Snow White and Seven Dwarves in the closet, it became her safety blanket as she read it over and over again.
Her father had no clue of this abuse, and Isabella was too kind to tattle tale on the woman that was supposed to treat her like the princess every girl deserves to be treated as. This happened for years until Quinn took off and never came back. Blaming the departure of his 'perfect' wife and overwhelmed with stress, Isabella's own father became abusive. I'm wishing, for the one I love, to find me.. today! Singing the song between tears, and dry heaves Isa would be home alone, waiting for her father to come home, only to be severely beaten day after day. At the ripe age of 16 Isabella finally ran far away as she could from home, seeking out refuge in the streets. It is there, she was picked up by the authorities talking to the feral cats, and her lips stained red from the blood of an unknown source. Her father did not claim her, and prompted them to take away the girl that was once his little princess, far, far away. The authorities rightly brought her to Safe Heaven, and she has been there ever since.
