Steve Rogers, A.K.A. Captain America, before he was a member of a plan to bring together Earths Mightiest Heroes, he was a soldier, fighting the Nazi's in the single bloodiest war ever fought by humanity. But he wasn't alone in his struggle, there were other people, people with amazing abilities who helped him to become the national hero he is. One of Steve's biggest regrets is that people will know his name for all time, but no-one ever sang the praises of these brave individuals whom without, he would not be alive today.

This is one of the stories about the brave individuals who served alongside him.

Canon characters are welcome as well as Original characters, but naturally, i will be limiting the canon characters to those who were around at the time, such as Wolverine and the original Human Torch (The android) I don't want to see Iron Man or Spider-man.

Bio: Steve Rogers was born July 4, 1922, to poor Irish immigrant parents, Sarah and Joseph Rogers. Little else is known about Rogers' early life other than the fact that a strong sense of duty, honor, and humility was instilled in him; perhaps due to his Irish Catholic upbringing. Rogers' father died when he was a child and his mother died from pneumonia later.

Horrified by newsreel footage of Nazis ransacking Europe and atrocities in Asia that the Empire of Japan committed in China and Korea, Rogers tried to enlist in the Army, that rejected him as 4-F because of his frailty and sickness. Overhearing the boy's earnest plea to fight for his country, General Chester Phillips, of the US Army, offered Rogers the opportunity to take part in a top-secret performance-enhancing experiment called Operation Rebirth.

Rogers agreed and was taken to a secret laboratory in Washington, D.C., where he was introduced to Doctor Abraham Erskine (code named Professor Joseph Reinstein), the creator of the Super-Soldier Serum

After weeks of tests, Rogers was at last administered the Super-Soldier Serum. Given part of the compound intravenously and another part orally, Rogers was then bombarded by vita-rays, a special combination of exotic (in 1941) wavelengths of radiation designed to accelerate and stabilize the serum's effect on his body. Steve Rogers emerged from the vita-ray chamber with a perfect human body. A Nazi spy, who observed the experiment, murdered Dr. Erskine mere minutes after its conclusion. Dr. Erskine died without fully committing the Super-Soldier formula to paper, leaving Rogers the sole beneficiary of his genius.

Rogers was then put through an intensive physical and tactical training program that taught him gymnastics, hand-to-hand combat from Colonel Rex Applegate and William Essart Fairbairn, and military strategy. Three months later, he was given his first assignment: to stop the Nazi agent called the Red Skull.

He has been fighting the Skull for 3 years now, and is now he is a part of Operation Neptune, the largest attack plan ever put into action. the allies will attack the beaches of Normandy and create a beachhead for the Allies to land their troops in hopes that they can being the long march towards Berlin.

Powers: Aluin Lacroix was born with an innate connection to the Darkforce Dimension. Although unable to manipulate it, the Darkforce Dimension passively allows Aluin to merge with shadows in an incredible way, which renders him virtually invisible and even undetectable by smell when surrounded by dark enough shadows. With a superhuman equilibrium Aluin can feel himself balanced in literally any position one could imagine, making him an amazing acrobatic human. Aluin also shows an inhuman level of agility, stamina, reflexes and accuracy few humans have although its unclear if these are powers or just traits he possesses from his many years of training.
Skills: Aluin or "Al" as he likes to be called, is a master thief and assassin which grants him various skill sets. Al can pick locks, pockets and just about anything else thrown his way. He can maintain a level of silence that makes him near undetectable even while moving his top speed.
Equipment: Al carries twin Luger P08's with extended barrels for accuracy and a M1D Garand sniper rifle with a M84 telescope and T-37 flash suppressor. Al carries an ammo belt that wraps securely around his waist. His signature equipment is the pair of boots and gloves he wears, designed by French scientists during his time as their assassin they allow Al to stick to various surfaces giving him the ability to climb walls. Aluin's mask was fitted with two large eyes that act much like a cat's eye, absorbing ambient light to illuminate the area and allow him to see in much darker places, these eyes can also produce a light and act as flashlights for him in total darkness.
Bio: Aluin Lacroix was born in Paris, France in 1917 to a pretty typical family. Most of his past is unknown since Al isn't one to talk about himself much but few things are known. It is unclear exactly what his father did for a living, all young Aluin knew was the man traveled quite a lot especially to Germany towards the end of his life. One day, curiosity got the best of Al and caused him to sneak into his father's luggage. While hiding inside the bag, Aluin found he was sharing a bag with French documents of some kind. His father traveled all the way to a small town in Italy, where Al exposed he had been hiding in the bag and confronted his father about the documents. It was then his father revealed to him he was a spy and had been spying on the French since before Aluin was even born. He explained both his father and mother had been a part of this and warned him there was going to be big problems in the future that were too big for Aluin to understand. Feeling betrayed and alone, Al fled from his father, he states he never set eyes upon his father and mother ever again feeling they have disgraced his country. From then Aluin became a tramp, making most of his money stealing or robbing people and places but a few times he had to do things he doesn't seem to talk about. Eventually, Aluin was hired as an assassin and world-class thief by the French Government, using him for various political reasons and allowing Aluin to feel like he was getting retribution for his father's mistakes. When Nazi Germany invaded his home, Aluin lost his connection with the French Government and became a free-lance agent of his own hell bent on making the Nazis pay for what they did to his country. This is where Aluin began his guerrilla-like warfare against the Germans. During one of his campaigns, Al infiltrated a German controlled French town and over the course of twelve days slayed over three hundred Nazi soldiers. The occupying German forces became so fearful they named him "La Chasseur" and evacuated the town, leaving it free of their control.

Powers: Subject 11 posses the ability to channel illnesses through metal or rather channelling the symthomps through the target by concentrating on them, this effect works in a 10 meter radius around him and that very directly, like lead would cause the victim to loose his hair, theeth and to get cancer all over his body followed by imense pain. His effect sure is destructive but causes a heavy back leash on himself since he´s attached to all kind of mechanical advices which are replacing many parts of his body and so his secound ability, a healing faktor, is continously fighting against the side effect which would be cancer, amnesia and various others. So hitting him metal weapons or shooting him is the best way to damage him.

Skills: Thanks to the many advices in Subject 11 body, he holds various hidden weapons, like swords and pistols(see the arm attachment) which he can fight with. He´s deadly at close to mid range since he´s a skilled pistol wielder and an exellent fighter with swords.

Equipment: Nothing but the advises on his body. In both his arms is a hidden Mauser Pistol and a short sword made out of copper.

Bio: Subject 11 is a german test subject made by the Führer, testing on all kind people they founded someone, Heinrich Müller a Officer in Hitler´s ranks, with a mutation. He possesed a healing faktor but a great allergy against all kind of metals. During the test they managed to combine hidden mental powers with the allergy under the use of drugs and many painfull houres in the lab. As the have finally managed to fullfill their work, they realized what they have done, the subject freed himself and used his new ability to made his way through the labor and then escaped in the wildneress.
Collapsing on the ground some resistence fighter found him and took him with them, not knowing who he was or what he was since the Führer did many changes to him.
As Heinrich awoke he was glad that the resistence found him and so he shared their goal thanks to a shattered mind.

Skills: He has pin point precision with his submachine gun and can hit just about anything from ages away. Good at swordplay. Can handle a few machine guns but prefers to use his sword and bow.

Bio: born in japan Hikari was abandoned at the age of 4 by her family for 'being a digrace to the family' causing her to drop her family name as she was forced to live on the streets trying to scrape by a living untill she was 6 years old when a member of the hand found her and preyed on her vulnerable state to recruit her into the hand. at the age of 18 Hikari found out about the beast that the hand follows and went rogue using her knowlage of magic to try and stay one step ahead it was also when she left the hand that she took up the surname Tsukino as the moon seemed to have blessed her in her mind the night she left the hand.not much is really known about Hikari as she keeps to herself due to her being raised in the hand being trained by them or out of fear of something is not known but she is 100% loyal to the Steve Rogers in trying to stop thos against freedom due to him being a man of honor and he could help her should the Hand find her.

Bio: Subject 47 was a prodigy of Soviet Bio-engineering. they made a being capable of controlling electricity and smart enough to use it to overcome almost any obstical, the problem was that they programmed him a little too well. he was brought up to believe in the Soviet Union and the ideals of Karl Marx and to be totally and completely loyal to the Motherland. however, as his intelligence grew, he began to question if the Union was being run correctly, eventually he came to the conclusion that the Motherland could not prosper under Stalin and his dictatorial command. he escaped the Union and fled to Britain, where he approached the Ministry of Defence. they worked with the Americans to augment him to become a weapon of mass nazi destruction. he is equipped with weapons based off of Nikola Tesla's theories of electrixal manipulation to create the Tesla Armour, it directed Electricity all around the suit and which turned his whole body into a weapon. of course the suit weighed over a ton, But due to his powers he is able to manipulate Electromagnetic waves to lighten to take a lot of the weight. Thanks to this he is able to lift up to a Sherman Tank over his head.

He is rather short and thin despite his bulky clothing.

Powers: His main power is his accuracy. He can spot things from miles away without using a scope and hit them equally as well. His others include his body miraculously adapting to any coldness or warmness. He also has excellent eyesight, often being the equivalent to night vision at times as well as letting him see small things like branches in the vastness of snow. His last power is his stamina. Not for running in the sort(although that is a bit more than the average human) but how he can stay for days in the same spot awake with minimal food and drink.
Skills: He is trained in Hand to hand combat training but he was trained in using it with a knife. He has an extensive knowledge of rifles but prefers to use his Mosin Nagant. He is trained in survival and is an excellent hunter.
Equipment: He keeps a few rations and canteens of water on him at all times along with his hunting knife which is strapped to his thigh at all times. He also carries his prize Mosin–Nagant and Suomi K31 SMG on him at all times.
Bio: Simo was born in Finland and joined the military as soon as he could which was when he was 20. He became prominent with a Mosin-Nagant and earned 7 kills a week without using a scope in his first few months. He then raised this by increasing his eyesight so much that he could see perfectly during the night. He also discovered his body rapidly adapted to almost any temperature which in addition with his unexplained power to survive without food or water and be perfectly healthy for days made him a brilliant sniper. Early in life his father had trained him to hunt and skin an animal which came in handy when fighting the opposition up close during his undercover days in the German cities. He gradually became known as 'The White Death' to his enemies for his tendency to hide in snow and remain as still as a rock while they passed by before he killed them.
