    The Lone Dragon [PRIVATE ROLEPLAY]

Ryukiru, at only four minths since hatching, had gone through a lot. He was now far away feom the hatchery where he was born. He felt like he could call nowhere home... He had been in this cave for a couple of days now and the bleak stone walls seemed a little more inviting than when he had first come here. Although, he was very near a human village, and knew that eventually he would be found... As he lay in the darkness of thw cave, he watches the sun rise into the sky and begin to light up the world. All that was visible of him, was his eyes and the dimly glowing blue crystals that covered his body. He lay perfectly still as the humans began to wake up and started doing their jobs. One of them, was to collect water from the strwam that was just near his cave. This was the time he feared every day, the time he was most likely to be found.

"So," Takashi started to talk to himself as he exited a tavern. "Where to, Takashi?" Takashi then walked out of the tavern with a long sword in it's scabbard by Takashi's left belt. Takashi was trained to use the Katana, but, Takashi found the Long Sword to be more useful and versatile, so, if he wanted to use the Katana, he would simply summon it. Takashi walked out of the village, figuring it was time to leave, Takashi followed the stream to the next village, however, as Takashi walked towards the stream, Takashi looked over at the other side of the stream and saw a cave with what Takashi could say was blue crystals inside. Blue Crystals weren't rare at all, but, near this village? Takashi just shrugged it off, but, wanting to be cautious, Takashi sat down at the stream and started to meditate, waiting for the Blue Crystals to stop glowing ... either that ... or waiting for something or someone to come out of it to make sure the village would be safe.

Selestia got up early, not wanting to wake up to the slap of her mother, or the kick of her father. She was sore from working the day before, doing laundry, feeding animals, cleaning her horse's stable, etc. And she did it all, while her parents lounged around with cheese and wine. She got some bread and cheese out of the cabniet, starving since she hadn't eaten anything the day before. She ate, then grabbed her cloak. Her parents begun to wake, moaning and groaning like they had done anything the day before, but get wasted. She knew they were hungover yet again, and if she didn't leave now she would be buying more whine and rubbing 'aching feet.' So she tied her cloak around her neck and disappeared out the door, just as the squeaking of her parent's room door opened. She ran, stumbling and tripping a couple times. By the time she had left the village, and was in te outskirts, she was bleeding on her knee, and her body was scuffed and dirty. But really, she didn't care.

Ryukiru listened to his growling stomach. It had been days since he had eaten. He had feared hat the humans would find and kill him if he went out... He decided that it was best to go now, while they were only just waking up and get catch some fish in the stream. He got up from his comfortable position and moved to the entrance of the cave, peeking out. His face and the beggining of his neck was all that was seen as he looked around for humans. He flinched slightly when he saw Takashi. A human... A human, oh god... He darted back into the cave, knowing the human had seen him but hoping that maybe the being would think that it was just his imagination. Ryukiru's mind raced with thoughts of what the humans would do to him. Electricity began to spark off of his blue crystals as his heart beat faster and faster with worry and anxiety.

The sound of steel against steel clashing in the middle of the village echoed out, and many still-sleepy villagers had wandered out of their homes to see what in the world was making that horrible sound. They would see three men clad in leather armor, all standing around Charles in his knightly wear."I will not have you bandits stealing from that yon tavern any longer!" He said loudly, as one of the bandit's swords slammed against his shield."Do not test me, peasants..." As he said this, the bandit behind him charged forth, stabbing at his back with his short sword. He was fast, but Charles was a trained knight. He brought his armored elbow back into the bandit's stomach, causing him to groan and drop his weapon. Charles whipped around, slamming his gauntlet into the bandit's face, who fell onto his back unconscious and with a broken nose.

Charles turned around to face his next two opponents, who both seemed equally determined to end his life. One of them, who was wielding a pair of hatchets, came towards Charles swinging like a wild man. Charles put his blade up, catching the ax heads on it and stopping the man's advance. He bashed the bandit's stomach in with his shield, causing him to fall down and crawl away, making a run for the woods.

The last one, who happened to be the biggest and who was most likely in charge of the small band of thieves, brought his great sword down at Charles's head. He dodged to the side, slashing with his beautifully crafted sword at the large man's side. He cried out, dropping his massive sword and falling to his knees."You have all been bested, I want you out of this village and never return." The large man picked up his unconscious brother in crime, and made his way after the already retreating bandit. The crowd dispersed after the quick fight was over, and Charles went back to his business of sitting around and waiting for something exciting to happen.

Takashi, at this point, had laid down on the grass looking at the sky, not even bothering to look at the cave, Takashi didn't even see the dragon. Takashi then raised his hand in the sky and pointed at a cloud.
"Is that a dragon?" Takashi yelled out. "Huh, it looks like it ..." Takashi, was, of course, referring to the cloud, not the dragon in the cave. Takashi then sat up and looked at the cave for a slight moment until he laid back down on the grass. Takashi then sat up again, swearing he saw electricity in the cave by the blue crystals. Takashi took a better look at the crystals and saw electricity running through the blue crystals. "Those aren't normal ..."

Selestia watched the fight between Charles and the bandits. She loved watching the knights fight. She wished she could be like them. Not judged by appearance, admired by all. Her skills were amazing, quite close to a trained knight's. But she had taught herself, copying the moves of the knights as they fought. She jumped down from the tree to reanact the scene. She drew her sword, and pointed it at a tree. With great elegance that was aquired with much practice. She acted as if she was blocking swings, gracefully flipping and stepping. She stopped, deciding she had won the fight against the invisible foes. Sometimes, she wished she could battle a real nuisance. But that's what knights were for. She'd never get her chance.

Ryukiru heard Takashi's voice and more electricity began to pour from the crystals. He was gonna die, he was sure of it. He thought of the Hatchery and how the other dragons there teased him. Living there didn't seem as bad as what was happening at this very moment. He wished he had never left the Dragon Haven in which the Hatchery was hidden... He wished he had been born the normal size of dragons, then none of this would hae happened...

"To go into the cave or not to go into the cave ..." Takashi said. "... Mhmm ..." Takashi then put back his long sword into it's scabbard and started to walk back to the village. After a few minutes of walking, Takashi successfully made it to the village, but, as he did, he saw three people running out of the village. Takashi grabbed one of them and looked at him. "What the hell happened to you?"
"K-k-knight!" The guy stuttered and yelled at Takashi. The guy then pushed Takashi aside and ran out of the village.
"Huh, yeah, a Knight could actually venture into the cave with me, thanks random guy ..." Takashi said. Takashi started to roam the village in search of the Knight, but, instead, found a girl with a sword facing a tree. "... Eh?"

Selestia sighed softly, sheathing her sword. She did not here Takashi's questioning remark. She leaned against the tree, eyes on the ground. She went over her faux battle, eyes closing. Absentmindedly, she began making the same steps she had before, graceful even with her eyes closed. She bumped into Takashi. She fell back, but managed to regain her footing without falling and making a fool of herself. She opened her eyes and examined Takashi with catious eyes. "What are you staring at?" she snapped, looking away so he didn't see her scarred face. She crossed her arms, trying best to hide the scars and scuff marks there too. She was different, not like the other girls who wore dresses. Instead she dressed like a man, tunic, leggings, and some hunters' boots. She swiftly pulled her hair back, before returning to her protective position.
