As Nightshade is being examined by Ryu, he also evaluates the gargantuan reptile. As Ryu walks, Nightshade notices faint sparks on the dragon's scales and he smiles, thinking about what it could mean. Nightshade is staring absentmindedly into Ryu's eyes as he wonders just how strong the electricity might be, when he notices a flicker of movement in Ryu's large eyes. Suddenly, NS draws and loads his bow, pivots, and fires into a bush a few yards away, all in one fluid movement. He sheathes the bow and walks silently to the bush. After a few moments, he finds the arrow which has impaled two rabbits. He pulls them off and sighs, noting that the larger rabbit must be a mother, because the other is still quite small. NS walks back by Ryu and sits next to the smoldering remains of Selestia's fire. After a few moments of coaxing, the fire is once again burning merrily. He skins and cleans both of the rabbits, then makes a cooking surface using two small rocks to hold a larger, flat rock above the fire. Once his stove heats up, NS cuts the rabbit meat into strips and starts to cook them.

It almost seemed as if Ryu smiled when Selestia came back with the Elk. He padded over to the Elk, picked it up in his mouth and then went to the back of the cave where he laid with the Elk under his two front paws. (not sure if that's right for a reptile... Tell me if I'm wrong.) He tore some off, not bothering to cook it as he was too hungry. He snapped up the piece he had torn off and then began to tear of some more, repeating the process.
