*the old man raises his staff in a welcoming gesture*

Hail all, I am Lord Magus Oathand. I have travelled far and wide and learnt much. My research has found me in many a tight spot but I will never give up learning, my field of research is in the written tomes of magic, I will all ways strive to learn more even despite my age. I have been asked by the magi of my order to find a suitable apprentice but many have come and all have left, some in horrible ways.

(ooc) hi there this is just a small snip of one of my favourite characters from my past in D&D 3.5 but I have played many different types of people. My other format of rp is in world of warcraft were I rp a tauren troll and orc as they interest me the most. My favoured type of rp is fantasy like wow and d&d but I am up for trying a lot of others. Hope to see you guys around the forum and hey you never know Oathand may even come visit any of you.

Welcome to the Guild, Hangran. I hope you find plenty of RP to enjoy here. If you have any questions about how things are done around here just ask, plenty of helpful people around to answer. I do suggest you read this Guide just to see how things are set up just in case it is different from what you are used to. Let me know if I can be of any assistance. Happy RPing.
My amazing Profile Picture is a gift from Estoc. Thank you, I am honored!

A small pseudodragon, the color of burnished copper, lands upon the head of the mage's upraised stave. He settles down on his perch, coiling his thin tail around the shaft to secure himself as he calmly folds his wings. His eyes burn with gleeful curiosity, and around his neck hangs a small pendant in the shape of Hlal's open book - but he speaks no word, unable to voice the common tongue and unwilling to touch the mind of a strange magi.

Welcome to the guild! 'Tis always good to see another fantasy player join our ranks. Heh. Meet Akrilix, my own D&D character... although he is currently played in Pathfinder. In 3.5 he was a young copper. I think this suits him better.
Optimism: Waiting for a ship to come in when you haven't sent one out.

The old magi looks upon the small pseudodragon with silent curiosity, and slowly rests his staff and carefully walks along with his staff kept as still as he can as not to knock the small one from its perch. "Well my little one what can this old one do for you" says the old man with his gruff aged voice.

The Lord Magus Oathand. Bloody Heroes. The old wizard had been problematic for several dark magicians employed by several shady organizations of late. The old man had disrupted a good number of plans by providing wards and charms for those in need of protection and uncovering several murders that had appeared to be natural but were instead black magic. Who he was exactly nobody knew but one thing was certain. There were a good many who wanted him dealt with.

Assallya smiled, her ebony painted lips lush, as she turned the corner and beheld him. The blonde elven woman, little more than a girl, padded barefoot across the tavern floor. She was scantily clad in fine translucent ebony silks that displayed all her curves. In her hands, a fine wine and a pair of glasses with which to drink it. Her plan was simple. As an enchantress, she was quite a capable sorceress in her own right, but offering to Oathand's apprentice would allow her to get quite close to him if the poison she planned on using upon him failed.
