Looks: Saburo has short black hair, hanging past his ears in an unkempt fashion. His skin is pail- a testament to how much time he spends indoors, causing his dark eyes to stand out- That is, when his glasses aren't hiding them. He stands at roughly five foot ten, and ad a rather unimpressively skinny build. He makes up for this, however, by wearing layered clothing, hoodies, and clothing of the type. He's almost never seen in tight clothing, though he does own some and did bring some with him to America. He usually doesn't express emotion when in public, though he does get flustered easily and ends up hiding in a bathroom if it happens. He's never without his laptop- And he carries around a small, second-hand translator that he doesn't know how to work. As of late he's appeared more grumpy than usual, fiddling with the translator.

Small Bio: Sure, deciding to go to America for a school year without knowing hardly any English isn't probably the best idea, but for Saburo Shimada's parents, it was the perfect excuse to get him out of the house. He often stayed inside-Too often, in their eyes, blogging and doing whatever on his laptop. So they made him sign up, and payed for him to go to California for a whole school year.

Saburo is a shut in nerd who was kinda sorta lovingly forced to go overseas for a school year by his parents. He's now stuck living with Kat. He can hardly speak enough english to say he can't speak english.

Kat is a i guess sorta popular girl, but has the good grades. She didnt want to take the exchange student. She knew she would have to learn a whole new language to lead him through the year. Problem was... her parents refused to teach her.

((Alright. I'm going to start at the arrival of Saburo.))

"Ore wa koko ni itakunai. Watakushiha ni taizai suru koto ni na~tsu teru ie wa doko ni arimasu ka?" Saburo asked quietly as he looked from the suburban scenery that was passing by, to the school-provided driver. "Karera wa soko ni intānetto o motte imasu ka?"
"...Uh...Wahtahshi wa neehoongo o... hanasu koto ga dekimasen. sorry kid." The driver responded slowly, butchering the language he was trying to speak. They puled up to a rather nice house, and the driver got out, shutting off the car as he went to help Saburo with his bags. He went to the door and rang the bell as Saburo started to climb out of the car, his laptop case close and translator in his hands.

Kat had been dragged from her bed, forces to get ready this morning. That Japanese exchange student was coming today. She had to deal with him. She didnt even know how to say hello in that language! This wasnt going to work.
She walked downstairs and looked through the peephole,"Mom, its him!" Her mom called back,"Let him in!" Kat opened the door and tried to seem welcoming, waving and motioning him inside without words.

"Hello. I'm here to drop off the exchange student." The driver looked over to the skinny looking, jet lagged boy at the car, sluggishly making his way to the door. "His name's Saburo Shimada. He's still a little jet-lagged. He doesn't seem to speak any English." The driver shrugged as he sat down the bag he was carrying. "He has two other bags, by the way. I'll bring them up here for you." He left just as Saburo came to the door, pshing up his glasses with a yawn.
"Watashi wa nemuru koto ga dekiru beddo wa doko ni arimasu ka? Anata wa nihongo o shitte imasu ka?" He hardly looked at the woman as he entered the house, slid off his shoes, and made his way to the nearest wall outlet, taking out his laptop charger, plugging it into a converter, then into the wall. He sat down beside it, taking out his laptop and quietly getting on. "Intānettokōdo no koto wa nanidesu ka? Watashi ga ue de shutoku shitai to omoimasu." He looked up from the screen to look at the girl who'd let him in, looking away quickly. "Watashi wa anata no pantī o miru koto ga dekimasu. Anata wa sono sukāto no shita ni pantsu o okitai to omou kamo shiremasen..." he muttered, forcing himself to look at the screen instead of at the girl, the shine of his glasses hiding the darkening of his face.

She blinked, but walked out to help the driver,"Oh well this'll be wonderful. I have to deal with him and I cant speak Japaneese. Thanks though. My parents say the same." She took the other bags and carried them in. She carried them upstairs to where Saburo's room would be.

Saburo looked up as she started to move his bag, shutting his laptop and putting it back in the shoulderbag he wore, unplugging it before going after her. "Anata wa chōdo shitsumon ka nanika, watashi wa watashi no fukuro o toru koto mo kanōdarou." He frowned, rubbing an eye from under his glasses as he murmered "Soshite, sono sukāto no shita ni ikutsu ka no pantsu o irete kami no ainotameni shite kudasai."

Kat walked upstairs, muttering under her breath,"Im going to die. This is not cool. Hes probably saying something horrible about me! " Then she turned and waved him onward,"Come on, I dont speak Japanese so I cant talk to you! Just..." She put her finger to her lips to tell him to stop talking.

Saburo blinked as her finger touched his lips, causing him to back up. "Kami wa, watashi wa anata o rikai suru koto wa dekimasen chikushō. Jigoku o kuso..." He sighed before pulling out his translator. "I...Supee-ahku... no... Engureeshu?" He sighed, shaking his head as he tried to get the translator to be more readable. He rolled his eyes and put it away, continuing to follow the girl with his bag. "Watashi ga taizai suru koto o o heya wa dokodesu ka?" He looked flatly at her, putting a hand in his pocked as he followed her, pretending to act cooler and calmer than he was.

She sighed, nodding,"yes yes i know..... Shhh...." She walked into his room. There was a bed made up with black sheets and comforter a dresser, and desk with a desktop computer. She pulled a card from her pocket and read from it," um...uh...K-kore wa anata no h-heyadesu.... I-imukyatto wa chodonode, anata ga shitte iru...." she spoke slowly, and confusedly.
