    Only problem with that logic is the fact that it seems as if Hank can speak English better than a lot of Americans.

    "Only in basement" seems like broken English due to the lack of "the".

    Usually the case with any native speaker's mother tongue, to be honest. I hardly know the basics of Tagalog grammar, but I'm pretty damn sure I'm fluent at it.
