The Lost*What happens After you Die?* (IC)

    The OOC http://roleplayerguild.com/showthrea...ou-die-*-(OOC)

*This story is in a land that has no boundaries, think of it like a spirit world where one could wander on a single path forever. There is no technology in this land. Each person has a power, but these powers are born from the weakness in their heart. The more they are used the stronger your inner weakness becomes until it consumes you. Everyone wakes in this world with no memories of their past lives. There are villages and city's full of what the rebels in this world call NPC's. These are people who live normal lives and are unable to see the weirdness of this world. The "Angels" want all occupants to live like the NPC's. There are forces in this world that seek to make you conform, Will you obey or will you seek the truth?*

PS:Everybody wakes up in this Forest

The Vally was shrouded in a blanket of shifting mists giving the predawn vale an other worldly appearance. The forest waited in silence anticipating the sun rise that would free it from its misty slumber. Its inhabitants waited as well but not for the sun, something unnatural caused the normally bustling forest to seem empty and foreboding.

A lone creature seemed immune to this unease hanging over the valley as it moved through the mist unconcerned. This creature was not impressive, rather it seemed unremarkable in every way. Its height was an average six foot 2 inches with slouched shoulders, and clearly a male. His clothes were, well they werent clothes they were armor(In CS pic). He carried a run of the mill travelers sack and even his pace seemed uninspired. Perhaps the one thing that could be said was unusual about this ordinary man were his eyes. These eyes looked through the mists that stood before him and far beyond them. They shone a golden yellow that seemed to almost glow. What was it that made such an unnoteworthy character take such a journey?

To live would be wonderful, but to die would be an adventure. It was different then that. To this short girl, it did not seem like an adventure. It actually was quite scary. She didn't know what was happening, or where she was. She woke on the floor, in her usual black clothes. They had been restored, and she knew it. She stood up, surprised to see a man, exactly a foot taller than her, slouching away, walking towards something she was unsure of. She slowly stood, her jade eyes glowing with curiousity. Suddenly, she couldn't remember what had happened in her past. It puzzled her, how her thoughts could've disappeared so fast. With a slight shrug, she slowly began following the man, silent, and fearful.

Hearing footsteps was common here in the mist, no need sleep or rest made it hard to say what time it was in the mist but it was dark and that told Victor it was night, after an hour or so of walking and the footsteps staying at an even pace behind him he knew it wasnt the forest just playing with his mind anymore, there was really somebody behind him but the question is, is this person hostile or not, walking through this forest for months striaght still having no clue whats really going on made it hard to guess.

By judging the sound of the footsteps whoever this is, is a very tiny person, this person cant be all that bad to deal with even if they are hostile so he slowed his pace even more untill he came to a full stop and turned around to see a young looking girl walking behind him, he stood there quite for a few seconds waiting for some sort of sign that this wasnt more of the forests mind games.

Alenah stopped just in time, almost bumping right into Victor. He startled her. She hadn't exactly thought of what she'd do if he was hostile, and if he didn't want her to follow anymore. She was just unsure of what else to do, so she last resorted and followed a stranger. She backed up, biting her lip. "I-I uh..." she wasn't sure what to say to him. She had to tilt her neck back to look at his face, and it begun to hurt. So she looked down shyly. "I-I didn't m-mean to intrude..." she stammered, taking another timid step back. She messed around with her fingers, not even looking at the man's feet. She stared down at her shoes, playing with the clumps of dirt with them.

Victor was surprised to find out that it really wasnt a trick this person was standing here infront of him, he gave it a second to sink in before observing how nervious the girl was, "Oh hellow, you know you really should at least introduce yourself if your going to shadow me" he said in a joking yet comforting tone, "The names Victor" he spoke in a quite voice as if somebody were listing to them altough they were completely alone, with his eyes vixed on her he leand down onto one knee so that he was now shorter than her, "Dont worry Im not somebody to worry about here" he was still speaking softly but now with a smile on his face that looked like there wasnt a thing wrong in the world.

Alenah looked began to shake as he spoke, but began to calm down as he joked with her and introduced himself. She hesitated, and slowly began to speak, her hair falling into her face. "I-I'm Alenah. It's nice to meet you V-Victor..." She bit her lip, continuing to fiddle nervously with her hands. She moved no closer to him, but did not move away either. She was not exactly sure what to believe. "D-do you know where we are?" she asked quietly, her gaze shifting from him to the ground. She wondered whether or not anyone else was in this dimension, or if they were the only ones there. And if they were, why only them? What had they been brought here for? She of course did not remember dying, so she didn't know this was the afterworld.

Seeping wet clothes clung to her like another layer of skin. Vivienne's eyes popped open, and immediately closed. "This is a dream." she said to herself aloud, "It's okay to wake up now." she counted back from five, as her fingernails dug into the dirt and fallen leaves that surrounded her. This was not a dream, she really was here..wherever here was. Using her forearms to prop herself she felt a numbing sensation sweet through her body. Bright green eyes peered down to notice rope constraints around her legs, and a cinder block tied around that.

Her eyes widened as she tried to search her memory for how this happened. Nothing. Absolutely nothing. Footsteps could be heard in the distance, as Vivi struggled to get herself free from this entrapment. An exhale of relief took place as her legs became free. She sat up quickly pressing her back hard against a fallen trunk, hiding from the footsteps that came closer and closer. She held her breath, listening as murmurs of conversation stirred through out the heavy mist. She knew the people we're not close enough to see her, but she had to be quiet. Sitting up, she began trying to untie the rope from the cinder block, "This may come in handy" she thought to herself as her dainty fingers tugged on the rugged rope. "Almost." she mouthed from her nude lips, before finally releasing the block. A small smirk formed, before she rolled the rope and slid it upon her arm as one would a purse or bag.

Standing up her knees felt weak and her head felt a spot of dizziness. "Come on Vivienne." she encouraged herself, becoming balanced. Stepping over the log that had hid her, she felt frozen to the bone as her cold and wet clothes, clung to her pale white skin. Pushing her equally wet hair back, she ventured out , and into the unknown mist.

Victor couldnt help but smile at the nervous girl infront of him, "Iv been walking in this mist for what feels like a life time, I have no idea where we are but I know that I do not grow tired or hungry" Victor still spoke softly hearing the birds above them in the trees, "Alenah, thats a nice name" he said still trying to get the girl to calm herself, "Well Alenah I think we should get going, you can walk next to me you know, you really dont have to be alone here, I know it can get pretty creepy in this forest" He said still smiling like there wasnt a thing wrong in the world, He then slowly stood not to frighten the girl and started walking backwards in the same pace he was walking earlier to see if she would follow.

The man ran from fear thinking, 'What is this?!' The thoughts flew around in much the same way he ran, loud and out of control, so it was no surprise when he hit the tree, but he did not get up. Kane knew that if he'd get up, he would just lose control. Laying there in eternal thought of the universe, he heard the footsteps, the voices, but he would not trust them. He had a gut feeling that they weren't hostile, but when he got up, piqued by interest, the man was wearing armor and seemed to be bowing up to the woman.
Chivalry, that's what it was, but it didn't last long. As Kane moved diligently through the air, he hit a tree. the lost balance caused him to hit (like the tree before) the man in armor. Kane got up rubbing his head while muttering, "Soon enough, my head's going to callous. And you, lady, Are you OK? What was he going to do to you, i don't have any weapons but i think i can hold him of while you run.. You can run right?"

In no time, Vivienne had caught up to the pair of voices she had been so afraid of earlier. Her piercing green eyes peered at them from behind a tree as she listened and watched intently. A small giggle escaped her lips as the third member of this group flew into the man in armor. This giggle was quickly stifled by her dainty hand in fear of being found. On the way to her current location she had already abandoned her heavy and soaking wet sweater, in hopes that it would make her dry faster. In retrospect it did help a bit, but her jeans and under shirt still felt wet, and her red cowboy boots constantly needed to be taken off and dumped of the contents often.
