"Yes we can sleep hon. You should have said something if you were so tired." Aaron answered with a laugh. Carefully he lifted his wife into his arms, carrying her once more in a bridal fashion as they went to the family room. Looking down at her it was almost amusing, he felt tired too but she certainly showed it. In the family room the mattress had been set up, pillows and a comforter laid out across it for them too. With a smirk he carefully set his wife down on the mattress, sitting on the edge and fiddling with his boots carefully. Today had passed by rather quickly, no doubt tomorrow would as well. He was excited though, their first days in their very own home, it proved to be an adventure. They didn't have much unpacking left, but with money leftover perhaps they'd go into town and buy something to spruce up their home a little. He had little love for shopping, though Scarlet certainly did.
Once he'd gotten off his boots, as well his jeans, Aaron laid out on the mattress with a small groan, it felt nice to be off of his feet. Smiling complacently he reached over, rubbing Scarlet's back and looking up at her adoringly all the while. "I can't believe this house is ours... It's so weird, but in a good way. You know?" Finally off on their own, the next big leap for them was a family, something that made him perhaps even more anxious than buying a home. That was a long ways off though, they had time to figure that out. Yawning once more he only smiled silently, watching his wife as he waited for her to join him in bed.
