Story:
“Hi… My name is Joel and I’m one of the only survivors of Ophiocordyceps unilateralis… A form of fungus which affected ants, two decades ago it spread to man kind and destroyed civilization… The whole fucking world had gone to shit! The USA military created safe zones for the survivors… They ruled with an iron fist. I remember promising an old friend that I’d rescue a 14 year old girl… Her name was Ellie, she was as smart as anything, when we finally reached our destination I let her go… Worst mistake of my life! When I left her I couldn’t keep my mind off her, she was like family… A few weeks after I went back to visit her, I had been living in a run down house a few miles from her position… Or so I thought! I had only walked at least half an hour before I saw her… Grafted to the wall encased in fungus… She had became infected and left to die! THOSE BASTARDS GOT HER KILLED! She was 14… I confronted them about it… Then I woke up a few hours later chained to a fucking cliff… I want you to find and kill the F--!” Joels eyes closed and the light faded away as he took his last breath…

Gameplay:
You play a small group of scavengers hired by Joel to kill the people responsible for Ellies death, Joel is old and weary and cannot do it on his own, you have been armed with standard handguns and melee weapons. You are currently just outside Boston staying in a campsite owned by Firefly, a militia group working to break military rule in Boston, they’re a very secretive organization and don’t divulge there identities or intentions. You have been given a map with a marked position, this is where your targets are, you know nothing about them and the information on them given throughout the game will be very vague and this is intentional.

Ohh I misread, I understand now, it just started in ants!
I thought ants were the only killer- so I wondered who we were going to be look for; as the murderer of the girl..
