Alright, so instead of a standard group rp (4+ others) I am going to use a very small group. To make sure this works out, some ground rules
1. Commitment: This is pretty much a must. If you have a slight doubt about being able to at least post once every 4 days, don't bother reading further. If any of us can't continue going on, this basically kills the rp since that would mean we are losing one of three major people.
2. Everyone helps the plot: Basically, expect to be doing a lot of plot stuff. Since it's only going to be three of us, that means all of us are gonna be contributing to the plot of the rp.
3. Compatibility: To say it again, there's only three of us. The problem here is that we have to get along and work well with each other. If we don't, then this is gonna fail before it even really gets going.
Alright, that's it for the base setup of this. If you can't follow this stuff, then I suggest don't bother even showing interest since it will only be doomed from the start if we can't follow these simple rules.
Now that the serious stuff is out of the way, onto plots and other ideas. So, I don't exactly have a set plot in mind. I really only have a few basic settings/ideas/concepts to create the world. I figured I'd get everyone on board to one of the s/i/c's (settings/ideas/concepts) that way we can develop a plot together (refer to rule to 2).
First Idea: Online game. I am not an SAO fan, infact, I dislike the series (I prefer .hack//). I like the concept it establishes, but I feel that the story-line becomes lackluster (especially the second half), but I love the concept so much. People stuck in a VRMMORPG, awesome. So, instead of just using the SAO universe, we develop our own VRMMORPG that our cahracters are involved in.
Second Idea: Three people (us) are all people in a village. Each of us, unknown or known, belong to separate ancient factions of human society, each containing different traits and abilities. We begin to unlock these abilities, while dealing with the world around us, and even the ancient spirits of our ancestors, and possibly due to our factional differences, may even turn against each other. It's a story about friends getting powers, and possibly becoming enemies while also dealing with outside forces, how could this not be fun? Drama and adventure rolled together, perfect.
Third Idea: Super hero trio, need I say more? Or super villain trio? Either would work.
Fourth Idea: You guys suggest stuff. I'm open to ideas.
Basically, I really just want to get an rp where each of us are heavily involved in the plot, and having to many people involved might taint this system, so I'm starting off small and seeing how it plays out.

oh jeez, commitment is always a sore subject for me since I'm a pretty busy dude, but I like the ideas a lot! i feel like once every 4 days is a pretty reasonable requirement. i'd definitely be partial to the "stuck in an MMO" idea!

Seriously interested, love the three friends idea in particular but the superhero/villain could also be pretty awesome ^^

if I had to put them in any order, I'd go:

VRMMORPG
this works out nicely, I have two people interested in both the vrmmorpg and the 3 friends, and since I won't be maintaining them and running them alone, I could start up both. I will vm each person with the OOC of the idea they're interested in.
