any Myst fans out there? the game series?

Hi there I assume you are a Myst fan or have at least played the game before since you clicked on this thread.
I have been longing for a Myst rp for a while now, and I just got done reading Myst: The Book of Atrus which fanned the flames.
I am not sure what the setting could be, but preferably during the events of the first four games. I just do not like End of Ages (5) and I never got to play Uru or Path of Shell (mmorpg and expansion pack)
I would love to find fellow Myst fans to discuss the series and come up with an rp based on it.

I've tried to get several started. But hey, if push comes to shove, we could always do a 1x1! Also, I think you'll agree that End of Ages was MARKETED as Myst 5, but in reality was URU 4. haha

Tell me about it! Good lord End of Ages was NOTHING like a Myst game except for the linking and that they used the names of the original characters. I hated the computer generated characters. To me, the true Myst series is games 1 - 4. I do not even consider 5 to be part of the series.
Yes! A 1x1 would be wonderful! To finally have a fellow Myst fan to talk to is so exciting for me!

Yeah, I only played the URU games to say I'd played em. So I have to ask, which game is your favorite? Mine is Riven, but only JUST beating off MIV:Rev

It is so hard to choose! I guess my favorite would have to be Revelations just because of Yeesha, the music and seeing the brothers again. But I also love Exile because of Saveedro. He was so excellent as a villan that in fact was not a villan. Both Exile and Revelations made me cry.

Exile was the game I grew up on, So it was VERY hard to rank anything above that. Main reason I like Riven so much is because it was a sequel that was BY FAR better than the (Still AMAZING) first game. But Revelations had all the cool graphics and Ages. I still get a SUPER uneasy feeling when I'm wandering around Spire...

I am more scared wandering around Haven, I always think a camodile is going to jump out at me. lol
Yeesha's acting in Revelations was great in my opinion. I love her accent. Yeesha and Atrus are my two favorite characters. I actually had a crush on Atrus growing up. And Gehn scared the fudge out of me. He still does. lol

Sirrus was the one that always got me. Saveedro also scarred the SHIT out of me... I HATED Naryan....

Can't forget about the Wharks. They were certainly lovely. Sirrus always made me laugh for some reason. And what was up waith his preacher's collar in Revelations.

Hell if I know. I will admit though, He DOES make me laugh from time to time. (IE, the "Bottom of spire" memory.)
