Hello there, reader(:

You seem to have stumbled upon my interest check.Come in, take a seat, get comfortable! Hopefully you'll find something pleasing to your eye.

Before we get to all the fun stuff, these are my rules and requests...
~ First of all, this will be something long term... As in a good few months at least. If you're not willing to stick it out, then I'm not the RP partner for you.
~ This RP will be taking place via PM only. They're easier to keep track of, and there's less pressure.
~ I'm only looking for people who will play male characters for me at the moment. On that note, I don't do MxM or FxF.
~ I don't double up. However, I do create secondary characters to help the RP along, some of them recurring if need be.
~ Good spelling and grammar are a must. I don't want to see the wrong your/you're, or their/there/they're; And if you don't know how to spell something, Google it!
~ I don't like seeing numbers in posts (unless it's necessary). It's: "She has ten cats," not: "She has 10 cats."
~ I expect a minimum of three detailed paragraphs (and I'll always give you at least that). I understand writers block and such, but three paragraphs isn't that much.
~ I don't expect a reply every day--in fact, once a week is fine by me. I usually post between two and five replies a week, but don't expect any more than that.
~ If you're going to be away for a while, let me know. I'll do the same for you (: But if you're gone for longer than two weeks without notice, consider the RP dead.
~ Let me know if you want to drop the RP, I won't mind at all. I'll even be happy to try something else with you if you want. If you just disappear, though, don't expect to RP with me any time soon.
~ Please be at least eighteen years old if you're going to contact me. Expect things like bad language, gore, violence, drugs and alcohol, and possibly smut.
~ On the subject of smut, don't expect it to be an instant thing, or for the RP to revolve around it... We're not trying to rewrite Fifty Shades of Grey, alright?

There are a few things that I just won't do, so please don't ask me for the following...
~ Twilight
~ Anything high school (this includes bully x victim, cool kid x loner, etc.)
~ Most fandoms. There are some very few exceptions.
~ I'll add more as I think of them.

Now let's get to what you came here to read, shall we?

This roleplay would be based in a completely fantasy setting. I suppose magic would be ok, but our characters wouldn't be mages or anything like that. They'd know the odd spell or two, but they wouldn't be vastly experienced with it.

Because most of their travelling will be done in the wilderness, they'd probably come across hostile creatures like chimeras, behemoths and flocks of harpies, so be prepared for some bloodshed and violence. The odd pack of bandits is a possibility, too.

I'm not fussed about what his "mission" is. That's entirely up to you. All that matters is that he has to go from Iyas to Lavryn.

We'd start this one off just as the thief saves the mercenary, and drags him back to her camp so she can tend to his wounds... and steal all his money.

From Iyas, the journey to Lavryn was a long and difficult one, plagued with obstacles. Most men wouldn't dare brave the trip alone, but that fact didn't falter this young mercenary's bravado for even a second. There was so much money at stake, he couldn't just turn his back on it!

So, to Lavryn he went. The first couple of days were a breeze, the most he had to deal with was the occasional bandit or flock of harpies--nothing he couldn't handle. It only served to feed his confidence and arrogance... So much so that when he came face to face with a behemoth, he chose to try and slay the beast like a fool, rather than flee with his life intact.

After one of the most short lived battles of his career, the mercenary is struck down by the behemoth's gargantuan paw, and is knocked unconscious.

Surprised that he ever survived the run in with the behemoth, he awakens to find himself at a very small lakeside camp, his wounds already having been tended to. After meeting the person responsible for saving his life, he offers her a portion of the bounty he is to receive for the job, but only if she accompanies him to Lavryn--he'd learned not to travel alone the hard way.

It isn't until they're well on their way to Lavryn that he realises he shouldn't be trusting this woman; and that she decides that it's about time she turns over a new leaf.

This roleplay would take place in a completely fantasy setting, preferably with darker themes dominating the roleplay. Creatures like imps, faeries, werewolves, elves and all that jazz are fair game. Magic and such is fine, too. I shouldn't have to say this, but guns are off limits in this one.

We'd start this one off just as the mercenary first meets the girl. He'll have been tracking for her for about a month by the time they finally meet. Whether he brings her back or helps her run away is up to you, but keep in mind that your character is very highly motivated by money.

This will be a very long term roleplay. Their journey from Ziryph to Tolir will take them about a month. I'll allow some time skips, but this roleplay is heavily centred around character development, and the relationship that develops between our characters (whether it be romantic or not), so I'd like to keep them to a minimum.

After realising that their daughter has disappeared during the night (again), distressed parents Mattias and Astrid Challan call upon a mercenary to track the young woman down--the local law enforcement couldn't do a thing to bring their daughter back this time, now that she had finally come of age.

The man they hire for the job is young, but is experienced in his line of work. While he usually takes on more dangerous tasks, he accepts their request. Money is money after all, and this job seemed like an easy one. Especially considering what they were willing to pay to get her back. After all, how hard could it be to find an eighteen-year-old girl?

After the first few days, his search takes him out of the city of Tolir. To have evaded him thus far was impressive to say the least.

Over the course of about month, he followed her trail all the way to Ziryph--a dodgy little city on the edge of the desert, home to thieves, thugs, killers and the exiled. For her to have made it all the way here was astounding, and the reasons behind her even coming here eluded him. All that mattered was that he was close to finding the crafty little bitch.

While paying a visit to the blacksmith, he's approached by none other than his target, looking to pay someone to escort her to the desert town of Scobis. Realising who she is, he promptly begins to drag her back to her parents in Tolir. It isn't until he finally gets to know this girl that he begins to question whether what he's doing is really the right thing to do.

This roleplay would be set in the distant future, a good few centuries to a millennia. Working human technology exists only in the human shelters hidden throughout the world. Any human technology outside of human bases is FUBAR, and is found primarily in ruins.

Demons have two forms; their true form, and their human shells. In their true forms their demonic powers are almost limitless, but they run the risk of fading back into Hell if they stay in their true forms for too long. For this reason, they either have to steal human bodies, or craft their own flesh (usually reserved for the more powerful and skilled demons). I know I mentioned Hell before, but we don't have to go biblical with it. In fact, I'd prefer it if we didn't. That being said, in the roleplay, there is a "God" and a "Devil", so to speak. This isn't central to the roleplay, though. The main focus will be on our characters.

Demons took the world by force, and obliterated the majority of humanity. The few humans that remain live under ground, or have been captured by demons. So many centuries have passed that no one knows for sure what year it is any more. All the human cities have been destroyed, and replaced with magnificent, ominous demon cities. Even the flora and fauna have started to change.

A large, human base located in the mountains is attacked by demons. Hundreds were captured to be slaughtered as livestock, or sold as slaves. A few dozen were killed in all the mayhem. A small handful managed to escape. Over the weeks, the group got even smaller, most dying of starvation, a couple being picked off by demons. One even left, screaming that she would be better off without them.

Eventually, she came across a demon city. Starving, lost, and sleep-deprived, she wondered in, searching for somewhere to eat and rest. She eventually finds an inn, where she meets a demon who she tricks into believing she's a demon. Initially, her plan is just use him to get to a blacksmith, but after he listens to lie upon convincing lie, the demon insists they travel together, as they're headed in the same direction.

It's only a matter of time until he figures out what she really is.

This one would be set in the present, in a fictional city so we could have some creative liberty with our surroundings and such. Again, we don't have to go biblical with it, the "demons" don't even necessarily have to come from Hell, as long as they're evil, paranormal beings that definitely do not belong in the mortal realm. All that matters is that the "demons" are bloodthirsty, violent, devastating monsters--determined to spread fear as far and wide as they can.

Termin has always been threatened by demons, and for years a lone demon hunter has seen to it that the people stay safe... for a small fee, of course. He never had any problems with business, being the only demon hunter in the city guaranteed his financial success from the start.

Then she showed up.

He had no idea who she was, or where she came from, but he knew this; she was good at what she did, maybe even as good as he was. All he knew for sure was that she was stealing his business, and that was something he didn't appreciate, even if the way she did her job was something he admired.

Months passed, and the two met time and time again, but the only words ever exchanged between the two were cruel taunts between rivals, never anything personal, not even names. He never thought much more of it than a little friendly competition to keep him on his toes, he couldn't argue if she got the job done first. But after more lost targets than he'd ever admit to, he began to grow suspicious. This girl was hiding more than he expected, and he was determined to find out what.

There's a large information pack that comes with this one. It's just "general knowledge" things that the people in this world would know. I won't go into details here, as those of you who are interested will get the information pack sent to them.

In Mordun, the practice of magic and the worship of the Divine Queens of Samsara has been outlawed and deemed punishable by death, as declared by Lord Serus L'Maarth, a cruel and ruthless tyrant who rose to power after the noble Lady Medara Breska ascended to Divinity and took her throne in Samsara.

City after city, town after town, village after village, Serus' army slaughtered those who worshipped the Divine Queens like lambs, attempting to eliminate all traces of magic, light and dark, spiteful of the unconditional love and loyalty the denizens of Mordun showed for the Divine Queens and Samsara. The only city to remain untouched by Serus' army is Sa'avyn, which was built around the Temple of the Divine Queens: the eternal resting place of the Divine Queens' souls, and gateway to Samsara.

Days after Serus' army began raping the land, a young soldier begins having nightmares and visions of the horrors to be birthed by Samsara as revenge. This soldier knew that he had to do something. He crept away from Dolvomiir and made the long and treacherous journey to Sa'avyn to speak with someone from the temple, claiming his visions were warnings from the Divine Queens. He meets a Dark Priestess, who lends a suspicious ear to the soldier's cries of forewarn, but agrees to help him anyway.

When the Divine Queens reveal that his dreams aren't delusions, but premonitions of an ancient, long forgotten prophecy, the two must work together and do everything in their power to stop Serus and restore balance to Samsara before the Mother returns.

This roleplay would be set in the present or very near future, in a fictional city for leeway with our surroundings. Considering that everyone has a slightly different about the mythology behind vampires, we should probably iron those details out before we get started on the roleplay itself.

After decades of experimentation, scientists have finally managed to completely revive the mummified corpse of a vampire who hasn't seen the darkness of night in over four centuries. Upon her revival, she was subjected to procedure after humiliating procedure, and degrading and invasive exams and tests. Torture. Eventually, her vampiric pride gets the better of her and she breaks out, refusing to allow herself to be further poked and prodded, jabbed and injected for their fancy, modern experiments.

The head of the organisation hires a vampire hunter to track her down and bring her back to the testing facility, dead or alive, as long as the body is intact.

Again, this roleplay would be sent in the present day, in a fictional city. I'm thinking that the city should be loud, bright and obnoxious, to really disorientate and assault the senses of the ancient vampire. As with the other vampire roleplay, we should have a chat about the mythology behind vampires before we get down to the roleplay.

After an ages long sleep, an ancient vampiress awakens in a strange new world. After weeks of struggling to survive on her own, she meets a ruthless young vampire who takes pity on her and shows her the ways of the modern world. As she's taught to fend for herself in the new world, she is shocked to find out what the once proud vampire race has become: a pack of rabid dogs feeding off anyone without discretion, turning people into one of their own without as much as a thought, making a mockery of their vampiric roots. As her new ally teaches her the ways of the new world, she mentors him in the true nature of vampires, grooming him into one of the most deadly creatures of the night the city had ever seen.

Will the cursed blood that runs through their veins forge an unbreakable bond? Or, will an ages long generation gap throw them into chaos?
