Clan Warfare!

Setting: Mainland, just a huge continent just north of the 3 warring nations that neighbor side by side.
Year: 1354 New Year's Eve About to turn 1355
Time: Night 10:00 pm


In the southern portion of the mainland in one of the five capitols there was the usual New Year's Ball where the nations meet up at the mainland to secure patronage for the coming of the New Year.

The three nations were as followed...

Morgul:

A rugged, dead wasteland. Dead forests as far as the eyes can see. The mountains very cold the very air smoggy. The formaldahyde lakes makes these lands impossible for any human to just venture through being the furthest east right next to a huge mountain range on either sides of their eastern and western borders their southern border a vast ocean. The usual inhabitants being of a mutated, undead, rotting abomination. The leader just as dead as her people. A Grimm Reaper by the name of Jinx Haven and her nation of the walking dead plague the very minds and souls of the people of the mainland as well as the other two nations.

Cydona:

To the far west of the three nations bordering Mainland in the north Ferrum to the East and a vast ocean to the south. As it is more of a mix of everything but consists of a heavy plain as the people here are self sufficient mostly aside from the heavy expenses it takes to run a country. The leader The best assassin ever heard of in Durzo Blint as he heads up his Creed a frightening force for those whose lives are worth money. Heavy with all kinds of hitmen and assassins many who walk through those streets and lands usually don't live for long and are left without a bit of gold to their name any more.

Ferrum:

The largest of the three nations standing in the direct center of Morgul & Cydona is the nation Ferrum. It too is bordered by the mainland to the north and a huge ovean to the south. These lands too a mix of plains, swamp, mountains along the eastern border, and the capitol being very modern with its own airship port to ship goods and weapons to the mainland. The leader a very head strong brute of a leader in Axel Drake. He strives for his nation to try and surpass the other two.


The world of Lunada is at a more of a industrial revolution period as they have been mainly focusing on the recently invented Airships in the Mainland Ferrum having its own port as well as Cydona. The weapons consisting still of bladed, blunt, and bows as well as guns. The mainland having its ball being for the Leaders of the Nations as well as other guest the leaders invited, is also neutral grounds as the rest of the mainland so fighting would be nigh impossible with all the guards and massive army that over shadows a whole nation almost. However they are of no threat to any of the three nations due to being the largest and giving money out to the other nations. The three nations out to try and destroy one another for what purpose is different depended upon who you ask to rule, for justice, etc.

Axel now getting himself ready as he got on his casual attire and began to put on his shoes. "Verity are you ready?"

Verity slipped her foot into her the strappy silver shoe before letting go of her red and white dress and letting it fall around her feet. She absentmindedly touched her blonde hair, having set it up in a pile on her head for the special occasion as her red brown eyes glanced over at Axel. “Yes, now I’m ready,” she smirked, reaching out to take his hand.

Jinx sits in the carriage, her cloak covering her body as they moved out of the grounds of Animus, the ghosts howling as they run past. She looks forward at Mr. Zanzabar then Maevah, the only two people of her clan she found safe enough to bring with her. Her glazed eyes then turned to the window, the clacking of the hooves against stone made her feel weary. They brought her closer to hell. She would have to see the two men, that destroyed the minuscule amount of time that was once her life. Better yet she had to act as though she was civil towards these blithering fools. She was silent as usual calculating and preparing. Emotion was just as much a tool to her as her scythe, she would use it to her advantage if need be, and she would need it with Axel and Durzo nearby. Mr Zanzabar spoke up,"Only a few more miles and we should be approachin..now be careful..Haven girl..these men are wolves.." Jinx turns to small pile of bones sitting across from her,"I know, but that is why I brought you..comrade.." He clicks his jaw in appreciation,"You both look ravishing by the way. Makes a dead man's heart beat..." Jinx smiles,"I would agree if not for the maggots and rot." He laughs,"Even the dead are beautiful..you of all of us should be able to see that." Jinx smirked looking out the window, her glossy eyes going plain,"Death is not beautiful..it's an ending..we can't accept..I was just lucky enough to make it my beginning." Mr Zanzabar remained silent as the lights of Main city glow in the distance.

Axel took her hand into his as they walked out of their room and began to go down the stairs to the lobby of the inn walking out to their carriage. Axel helped Verity in before getting in himself the driver then taking off to head out to the ball. Axel looking out the side of the carriage at the night sky. "Another year another ball." Axel then sighed, "Oh how I never miss these sort of engagements."

Verity walked with Axel, stepping into the carriage and sitting with her back pin straight while they horses pulled them closer and closer to the ball. She glanced over at him and tilted her head as he spoke, reaching a hand out to lay lightly on his knee. “It is a chance to size up our enemies if nothing else, Ax,” she said matter of factly, though with understanding in her voice. Her wide eyes glanced up as they reached where the ball was being held, other carriages ahead of them containing invited guests only in beautiful gowns and pressed suits. “Looks like we’re here,” she said softly, taking her hand back and placing it in her lap, no hint of nervousness or any emotion really in her voice.

Verity walked with Axel, stepping into the carriage and sitting with her back pin straight while they horses pulled them closer and closer to the ball. She glanced over at him and tilted her head as he spoke, reaching a hand out to lay lightly on his knee. “It is a chance to size up our enemies if nothing else, Ax,” she said matter of factly, though with understanding in her voice. Her wide eyes glanced up as they reached where the ball was being held, other carriages ahead of them containing invited guests only in beautiful gowns and pressed suits. “Looks like we’re here,” she said softly, taking her hand back and placing it in her lap, no hint of nervousness or any emotion really in her voice.

As the carriage came to a stop Axel got out and then helped Verity out as he took a breath looking at the carriage, "More of the snobbish terrible trash that keep my country flourishing." He then took a deep breath and then held out his arm for Verity to take as he smiled at the nobles shaking hands and saying his hellos like any other senator or politician would. Axel is a leader of a whole country however, here among these nobles and aristocrats he was merely a senator of a vassal nation. Degrading to say the least seeing as how he can spill all their blood with in a mere couple of hours. However for now Axel just played the part of senator and was more than civil with these people. Were it up to him he rather be at the races or in a pub drinking away and sparring with some of his fellow clan members.

Jinx exited the carriage after Maevah and Mr. Zanzabar, the driver turning his upper torso that was bolted to the carriage to the left. Jinx waved her hand, as he rode, off going to park. She kept her face hidden as she moved inside, the people keeping away from her small group. Her heels clack against the cobblestone as she moves up the stairs heading into the ball room. As soon as she entered the room went silent, a sickly chill that always seemed to follow her creeped out through the crowd. She turned to a coatman and pulled the cord of her cloak, pulling it off to expose the black lace that barely covered her sickly blue and stitched skin. Her lips were a deep shade of blue and her cheeks remained white and smooth. Her hair lay in waves down her back, and curved over one of her shoulders. She moved into the room, as her title was called out to the crowd,"JINX HAVEN, GRIMM REAPER OF THE MORGUL NATION!" She keeps her eyes forward and she moves towards the host, her steps graceful as she ignored the stares and whispers. In a world of the living, the dead were the strange and the unknown. She let them question in silence..

She luckily didn’t have to have the same fake smile Axel did to get through the evening, considering they were mainly sizing him up and not her. Though it didn’t hurt him to have some arm candy of course, especially with the older patrons. Verity nodded to each important person they passed, only shaking their hands when they reached out theirs first. A few took her hand and kissed it, but she was usually looking off in the distance as they did, not a care in the world for the gesture. The only reason she even tolerated this evening was the chance to dance with Axel in front of other women and rub it in their faces.

As Axel and Verity walked they too were called out so people could swarm in with their talks about nothing and everything all at once. "Axel Drake Leader of the Nation of Ferrum, the leader of the Diablo Clan and Verity Black Assistant Captain, Second in command of Diablo Clan and the nation of Ferrum"

"Great here they come even the old man who likes you Verity is making his way over." Axel whispered as they walked towards the crowd coming towards them.

Verity looked out over the room as Axel and her names were called out across the ballroom. She cringed a bit, the muscles in her neck tightening as Axel mentioned some men making their way over. She turned to look at Axel in the eyes, as if pleading for him to save her from their unwanted flirtaciousness, but she simply sighed and looked back over the men with a forced smile. “This is so lovely,” she muttered.
