Cumulonimbus meanwhile had put effort into flying away. Far more then normal. He had to get away from the others since he couldn't turn back. And besides, with the noise he was making there would be a lot more people to want to look at him or run away. As he flew out of town, he passed over a farm and started to circle. "Hmmm..." He said in draconic to himself. "Well, I am a bit hungry." He said and landed in the feild. Most of the cattle scattered for the wind due to him being a large predator, but one in particular didn't. It looked old and worn out. He could hear that its breathing was laboured as well. He thought for a moment as the cow tried to run away, but he knew that he could eat it.
Deciding to put it out of its misery, Cumulonimbus rushed forward and bit into the cow's neck killing it practically instantly. That done, be began to feast. There was nothing he couldn't eat of the cow. Bones, organs, what little muscle and fatty tissue there was, all of it was gone. His feeding done, he looked at the farmhouse. He knew he had to py the farmer back and carefully crept forward. It probbaly wasn't a good idea considering the noise the cattle were likely going to make so instead he searched through his belongings. Tied around his waist was a bag of holding that he kept most of his things in... which was money since he was mostly wearing everything that he needed. Smuggled out of his parent's treasure hoard. He knew that he'd be found out for it when they got back. Picking out fifteen gold pieces, he set them in a small pile along with a note carved into the ground with a taloned finger.
"Apologies for the loss of your cow. It was very tasty and filling. I hope this is enough to get yourself a new one. ---->" He wrote in Common drawing a line to the pile of gold.
That done, he looked at his handiwork, nodded once and took to the skies once again, flying up and up. Pasing through the clouds, he came to the top of them and landed on top of them. That done, he yawned and went to sleep.
