What I'm looking for in you...

-You can post at least once a day.

-Be someone who has no problem with very dark and very mature themes.

-You're willing to contribute to the plot and change it with me to keep us both involved and entertained.

-Play either a male or female character.

-Introduce and eliminate side characters as to advance the plot

-Be able to post two to four detailed, grammatically correct paragraphs per post. At least. Don't worry if you slip up sometimes, though. It happens!

The story I have so far...

The plot, background, characters, etc are subject to change depending on what you want from it. Have any ideas that you think would be great to be added in? Think something should be removed? Just mention it!


It's been twenty years since it all began, in the year 2018. Warfare engulfed the world and a new array of weapons of mass destruction threw even the most developed countries into disarray as their cities turned to ash and their people were slaughtered. The third world war ended almost as soon as it began, with newly formed governments and civilizations taking the place of their havoc wreaking predecessors, having realized the error of the old ways. The united people of Earth worked together to recover from the destruction, rebuilding cities and recreating populations. However, they were soon stopped short by an unseen force.

In 2027, huge spaceships filled the skies, bringing down a torrent of alien invaders seeking to drain the Earth of it's resources. The rekindled community of humanity, already bound together by the new era, fought back. After another long and bloody war, the aliens were soon repelled by a final stand and their ships destroyed with their own technology, captured and recreated by humankind. These massive structures began falling from space, crushing anything in their path and leaving only chaos in their wake.

Earth was left a wasteland, devastated by two wars and massive debris. What little infrastructure there was soon crumbled, leaving the remaining people of Earth and the new space faring immigrants to a wasteland where only the strong survived. Murderers and thieves wandered the now barren planet, taking what ever they wanted from the few who could produce resources to survive. It seemed that civilized life was to blink out of existence.

By what seems to be a stroke of luck, the inhospitable conditions started giving away to fast growing alien plant life. Farms started harvesting the new and abundant supply, and settlements began springing up from seemingly nowhere. Two large scale governments cropped up, the New American Republic, founded in the newly built cities of New America, and the United Earth Coalition, created by a dual host of wealthy alien and human merchants. Though the wasteland still remained dangerous, people sought safety within these governments and soon found life to be returning to normal. Even if a new war seemed to be approaching.

The year is now 2038. Two people have been traveling the badlands, moving from place to place in search of quick cash and their next meal. When they stop at a settlement seemingly located in the middle of nowhere, they are caught in the middle of a massive bandit raid. After assisting in the fight against the bandits, they are given an offer by the town's mayor, one that they couldn't refuse. For a steady income and a permanent residence within this place, they would serve as the town's sheriffs. Figuring it would be an easy job, the two plan to save up enough money to reach a big city and retire. They soon find that the job may be more trouble than it's worth, however.

Raiders and bandits flow steadily from the nearby mountains on a weekly basis, a close settlement launches attacks on the town, and dangerous animals both alien and domestic roam the surrounding wilds. None of this seems to deter the crime from within the town, either... and even more confusing is the strange interest in the town from both the New American Republic and the United Earth Coalition. However, something compels the two to stay and fight until the very end.
